How she met Snarf: Snarf was given to her by her village elders. At first Snarf and Zephyr hated each other. When Zephyr and Snarf were thrown out of the village, though, they began to rely on each other for survival. It wasn't until Snarf got really sick, that their bond became unbreakable. Snarf sometimes gets on Zephyr's nerves, but they still care for each other all the same.
How she met Venom: Zephyr met Venom in an odd way. Zephyr had gotten into a fight, and was unconscious. She woke up to see a scruffy chimera sitting next to her. Venom thinks of Zephyr as a little sister, and treats her as so. The fact that Venom treats her like a little kid gets on Zephyr's nerves, but she likes him anyway.
Personality Details: Zephyr is young and naïve. When you first meet her, she seems angry and brooding. Despite her hard past, she is very caring. Since her past has 'scarred' her for the most part, Zephyr has trouble making friends, but once you gain her trust, she is very sweet. Like most 12 year olds, Zephyr is loud, and hyper once you get to know her. Through all of this, Zephyr is short tempered and easily angered. Most of her friends, though, find Zephyr very strange.
Backstory: Zephyr lived in a small rainforest tribe until she was 8. Zephyr and a few others were born during 'Periodo della Luna Nera' or Time of the Black Moon. The children born in the Time of the Black Moon were thought to be bad omens, and were thus marked with a symbol on their foreheads. As everyone in their tribe, the group of Black Moon children, as they were called, got Yoris or guardians when they turned 6. Their guardians, though, were very different from the others. As well as the children they were guarding the Yori's had special marks on them too to tell them apart. Shortly after Zephyr received Snarf, she was blinded in an attempt to get rid of her and the others. Seeing that their attempts didn't work, they forced the children to live on their own. Driven from their home, Snarf and Zephyr, age 8, wandered around, trying to find a place to live, but because of her blindness, and foreign looks she wasn't accepted anywhere. She was found by her cousin, Cole and his guardian Fora, and they tried to bring her back. Zephyr refused to return, and ran off. Cole is assigned to bring his cousin back for unknown reasons, and he still tries to get her to come back. Recently, Zephyr has met a 'creation' named Venom. Zephyr follows him around, seeing him as the older sibling she never had. Venom protects her from the crowd who distrusts her because of her blindness, and the mysterious mark on her forehead. Zephyr, though, has found liberation in her two great friends, Zafari and Reka, the speed and power of Team Eclipse.
