This is a FREE SERVICE for Adoption or for any Pet Transfer.
You CAN NOT charge people for any Pet Adoption or for any Pet Transfer.

We just want to help by taking neopets out of the pound, nurse them to health and return them to the pound. And some of us may choose to use the Secret Lab on the pet to change the pet into a rare species and/or a rare color. Before return them to the pound or find the pet a good home and good owner.

NOTE

Abandon
(1) (Note from Neopets) - Pets that are above than level 2, are limited-edition species, and that have been painted with certain rare or expensive paint brushes CANNOT be adopted by any account younger than four months.
(2) If you abandon your pet, any attached Petpet will go with it. Also, once you abandon your pet, absolutely anybody can adopt it. There is NO GUARANTEE you will be able to get your pet back.

Adopt
(3) You must have three or less pets to be able to adopt another pet.
(4) Adopted pets will not have any wearable items, and will not have any equipped battledome items.
(5) Adopted pets may have an attached petpet.

Transfer
 (6) You may transfer a pet up to once per month.
(7) If a transferred pet is not accepted within three days or rejects the pet, the neopet will be returned to you immediatly.
(8) Until a pet transfer is completed, neither you nor the recipient will not be able to adopt or create any new pets.
(9) Your account must be at least four months old to transfer pets.
(10) If you decide to use the pet transfer, a pet wearing items purchased at the NC Mall, some non-tradable items, and Battledome items will remain in your account.

(2) What's the different between Rainbow Section and Winter Section and Quiet Section?

Rainbow Section is for guild's members to put up their pets for adoption ONLY.
And who would like to adopt the pet have to neomail the pet's owner or foster parents. And the pet's owner or foster parents will decide who to give their pet to.
But still the same, there is NO GUARANTEE.

Winter Section is for non-guild's members to put up their pets for adoption ONLY.
Who would like to adopt the pet have to neomail the pet's owner. The pet's owner will decide who to give their pet to. But still the same, there is NO GUARANTEE.

Quiet Section is for ANYBODY to put up his or her pets and adoption.
And the pounding time and date will be post here too.

(3) Pet owners should not ask anything in return for their pet.

(4) As Rainbow Section is for guild's member.
Your pet for adoption will move to the Winter Section or Quiet Section if you leave or already left The Friendly Village guild. Thank You!

Guidelines to follow if you want to adopt any neopet below

(1) A person needs to have LESS than four pets in order to adopt a pet.
(2) One person can only limited to adopt one pet per every 6 months from guild adoption agency.
(3) Please be nice to the owners of the pets. Please do not influence the decision of the pet's owners.
(4) Who will get the pet will be decide by the person who going to release the pet.
But there is NO GUARANTEE.
(5) If you want to adopt a pet, please check your account before sending neomail to the pet's owner or foster parents. (Why? Please refer to NOTE 1 above.)
**(6) You DO NOT need to be The Friendly Village guild member to adopt the pet, but of course our guild members get priority.
(7) Adoption is FREE, so no one has to pay any neopoints or items when adopting any pet.

The reason is because the owner wants our members to have more chance to adopt the neopet they want, but don't like to receive any neomail. That's why the pounding date and time will be post here.

List of Foster Parents
Here are few members that enjoy fostering pets.
They take neopets out of the pound, nurse them to health, play with them, etc.... and help them to find a sweet new home.
Guidelines to be a Foster Parent
(1) You must have a Secret Lab Ray.
(2) Your account must at least 6 months old and less than 4 neopets.
(3) You must be a member in The Friendly Village guild and with a rank above villager.
(4) You have to be in our guild for at least 60 days.
(5) You must show responsibility, caring, and willingness to help those poor neopets at the Neopian Pound.
(6)You must show respect to other pet's owner, adopter and guild's members.
(7) You must not influence the decision of the other pet's owners or adopter.
(8) You must be on neopets at least once per week.
(9) You may be removed from the list if found out that you break any rules or guidelines.
(10) Your user will be removed from the list below if you leave our guild (The Friendly Village).
