Tips for your site
Are you re-opening your site? or starting a new one? well, these tips might just help you [:
Content
Try to have a variety of content. Having just plain icons is plain boring. I mean if they are actually good icons people might use them but eventually, it will just be the same people coming and the amount of viewers will be declining. Try to add things like backgrounds, pixels, tutorials, icons, banners & blends and so on. Whatever you do, dont have your site full of photobucket. What's the point of making a site then? You would just be re-distributing other peoples graphics and thats not the best idea. Some maybe ok but not the whole thing.

First Impression
So, what attracts more viewers? some things may include high quality content, variety of content, the site name, and... Your site layout. Lets start off with, if you dont even know the basics of html.. I highly suggest you not create a graphics site. Check out some tutorials before you start [=. Your site layout gives the first impression of your site. Is it organized? Is it clean? If you have a site layout that is sloppy, and doesn't look like you put much time and effort in it. It wouldn't let the viewer believe that you have good contents in that site of yours. I don't think ANYONEs graphic site would start of the best but slowly it will improve and something to kick start it would be the site layout so make sure you watch out for that =D when you start off, its ok to use a premade layout.. but try not to go on with. Explore the world of html/css and make your own [= but WHATEVER you do, dont steal other peoples css and if you get "inspired" thats ok, but make sure you credit, credit, credt that person and dont get OVER inspired [: you might just end up on their wall of shame =[ And, try to avoid all dis ch@t Sp3@k and make sure you close those bold, italics, whatever tag it is. Reviewers tend to take marks off from those things.

Site Name
Yes, your site name. It's something that will stick with you for quite a while. Even after a revamp that you change your site name, people will still remember it. When you come up with a site name, think of one that is unique and original. It should also be memorable but isnt too long. Something like Supercalafragilistic. yeah its unique and original, but really, its too long, but its too wacky and it makes your site seem like its.. funkeh in a bad way =[. Oh, and whatever you do, do your best not to put these words in your site name. Graphics, Graphix, the name of what your site provides, and your own name. It just makes your site sound very new and not professional.

Your site opens
YAY! its finally the grand opening! First off, you wanna advertise your site but please dont go off to the boards and tell people to visit your site. Thats also very un-professional and people find that quite annoying. You want to also get some affiliates [: dont just go off being affiliates with other site that dont have much quality in them. Find affies that are from moderate to advanced.
