Who am I?
I am Chikage from Sister Princess. Don't know what anime that is? Well neither does Jess. -.-' Anyways I'm your host for this botae contest page! Alrighty? Ohk!

Wondering what it is?
Well it's a contest that will determine which AniX member will get council. You'll be put into groups (that are even) and compete against the other groups. Remember, only 1 person could get council.

So when does it start?
After more than a month of waiting, BOTAE has finally started-blocked- your favourtite team, and try your best! ^^

What do we do?
Well I can't exactly tell you. Why? It's a surprise. ^^ All I can tell you is to study hard, as it is a battle of Anime Einsteins rite?.

How do we win?
Right, we use points to determine the winner. It's simple, whoever has the most points, wins. Simple, right?

Want a head start or extra points?
You see, a guild like this can't be run by just me, I'm too busy to spend my time like this. That's where you come in, for each active member you recruit, your teams gets an extra 10 points. Active meaning a few posts a day and participation in contests. Etc.. the usual.

Madison sat in her office, trying to come up with idea to raise money for the guild as she shifted through the mail.

"Bills, bills, bills, a warning from TNT for Yoh, another warning for Yoh, bills, bills…"

Yoh and Andrew walked in.

"I'm sorry, I hadn't seen you for a while, I never realized that's how he was." Yoh said defensively.

Andrew rolled his eyes. "Ugh, you totally ruined the image of Andrew Waltfield in the Snorewager. He's nothing like that in the show."

Yoh plopped down on a couch. "Well I just finished watching GSD after all. Don't worry, this time I'll do it perfect. I'll even give you the Gaia this time."

Andrew took a sip from his thermos. "Whatever."

Yoh smiled. "Aww, are you still angry that Murrue dumped you for Mwu again?"

Andrew tipped the thermos over Yoh's head. Yoh shot up running around the guild. "HOT, HOT, HOT, HOT, HOT!!"

Madison rolled her eyes and continued through the mail. "O look, it's a message from Cagalli." She read the postcard.

"Hey everyone, how's it going? I've been having fun in Meridell with the Munchies! Ruto's been hanging out with Turmaculus and he's getting lazy like him. If this keeps up I might have to send him to you guys to shape him back up. I tried putting some of the mucnhies into Turmac racing, but everytime they lose they try to blow up the stadium. But they're really getting strong now! They're almost at Ruto's orginal level. Pretty soon I'll have my own army, and then, WE ATTACK THE CUCUMAN!! Of course that might now be until a month or so. Anyways just wanted to tell you all I miss you and you better come visit me soon.

Yoh giggled. "She's never getting that back is she?" he asked Madison.

Madison brushed her long hair with a comb. "Not for quite a while." she smiled.

"So anything else?" Andrew Inquired.

Madison dropped the bills on Yoh's head, burying him up to his neck. "Just more bills for Yoh."

"ME?" Yoh yelped? "Why me?"

"You are the leader of this guild." Andrew said slyly. "It is up to you to pay the finances."

Yoh frowned. "But since I got back, I've been totally broke. And besides, you're technically the oldest and obviously the richest in the council."

Andrew stuffed something in his pocket. "Sorry, I'm broke too. Lacus and the others came and we spend all our cash buying things for the new Gundam Seed season,, the third installment."

Madison looked on the floor. "You dropped a 100 000np bill."

In a flash Andrew bent down and picked it up. "No I didn't!"

Yoh sighed. "Yare yare. What should we do? I don't really want to ask the members for money. There must be another way."

"Me neither." replied Madison. She picked up her Neonav (2.0) and entered the phone mode. "I've been thinking about this for a while and I think that we should call in professional help." The busy signal beeped. "Hmm looks like they're busy."

Andrew pulled out his Neonav. "I think I have a few friends that owe the Desert Tiger a favour. I'll go check them out."

He stepped into a portal and disappeared.

Yoh pulled out his Neonav. "Same here, the Shaman World owes me big time." he stepped into a portal. "Later!"

Madison sat at her desk, staring at the bills scattered over the floor. "I'm so not cleaning this up. Over to Gaia for me!"

Yoh ran into Madison's office, his face lit up. "Madison! I've figured out the solution to our problems!"

Madison sat in front of her TV editing video-clips from the Snorewager.

"Is that the Snorewager?" Yoh asked puzzled.

"Yup." Madison said happily. "Just tweaking it before I submit it to NFV."

"NFV?" said Yoh.

"Neopia's Funniest home Videos." she replied.

Yoh fell to the ground. "Whatever. Anyways as I was saying, I have the best news! Come with me!"

He grabbed Madison's hands and dragged her to the receptionist area. There a young girl in a school uniform with golden hair, a dark tan and a little robot on her shoulder stood, shoving a banana in her mouth. She turned and saw Yoh and Madison coming.

"Yoh-kun!" she yelled. "Are you sure you don't need a hole in that wall? I'd be glad to put it there for you!"

Yoh sighed. "That's ok Su-Chan."

"Su?" asked Madison. "Where do I know that name from?"

The girl ran over to Madison and shook her hand so much it turned red (or purple in her case)

"Kaolla Su, current residence of Hinata Inn, reporting for duty." she smiled.

"Hinata Inn?" gasped Madison. "You don't mean—"

"Exactly as you might've guessed." said the little pink robot on Su's shoulder. "This is the infamous Kaolla Su, from the anime Love Hina. She is well known for her natural technological genius and invention."

Madison picked up the little robot which was small enough to fit in her palm. "And I guess that you're—"

"Correct!!" the little robot interrupted. "I'm the mobile persocom, Sumomo from Chobits!"

Madison frowned. "Do you always interrupt people like that?"

Sumomo smiled. Yoh chuckled. "You see, Madi? These are the best options for help with the guild. These 2 are the smartest anime characters I could think of!"

Madison sighed and placed Sumomo on the receptionist desk. "Yoh—" she began, but was interrupted the sound of a cat screeching and howling through the guild.

"What's that?" Yoh gasped. All he could see was a small white dash scattering over the guild being followed by a larger grey one.

Sumomo jumped up. "I'm detecting a small rodent being pursued by a feline –type creature."

Su smiled deviously and pulled out a remote control. "Excellent, now I can test out my Tama Catcher 2.0."

She pressed a button and 2 large robots rushed into the room and began chasing the 2 flashes. Very quickly the robots seemed to swallow each flash in a cage-like prison. The robots rolled Su. She opened the cage a pulled out a silver grey cat, and a brown abd white furred hamster holding a book.

"Meow!" said that cat. "You look delicious!"

Madison gasped. "Omg that cat can talk!!"

The cat turned around to face her and Yoh. Yoh gasped as he stared at the cresent moon on the cat's forehead.

"Omg it's an honour!" he started to bow to the ground. The cat looked down.

Madison looked puzzled. "Yoh what's wrong with you?"

"Can't you see?" asked Yoh. "That's the heir to the Moon Cat throne, the child of the royal moon cat advisors, Luna and Artemis, the Moon Kitten, Diana!"

Diana gasped. "Wow! I' so famous and technically I'm not even born!"

The hamster wiggled and fell to the floor. He brushed off his fur. "Heir to a cat throne or not, this is no way to treat a hamster such as myself!"

Yoh gasped. "That hamster talks!!!"

"This from a guy who's praising a talking cat." said Madison.

Andrew and a blue haired girl in a school uniform matching her hair ran in.

"Diana!" she yelled. "Where did that troublemaker run off to?"

The cat escaped Su's grasp, jumped down to the floor and lepet up into the girl's arms.

The girl sighed. "There you are, Diana. Artemis would have a cat attack if anything happened to you."

Diana purred and cuddled in the girl's hands. "Relax, Ami-chan. "I may be just a kitten, but I come from the future after all."

Ami chuckled. "Future or not, you have to be careful."

"And aware of hamster rights and cruelty!" said the hamster.

Andrew picked the hamster up into his hand. "I'm sorry Maxwell-san, Diana just couldn't control herself."

Maxwell shook his fur. "It's alrite Waltfied-san. But no hamster appreciates being personally requested only to be pursued by a ravenous feline."

Sumomo giggled. "One of your size should learn to take better care of himself."

Suddenly she felt herself being lifted into the air. Ami studied her carfully. "What an interesting creation. I've never seen a computer as complex as this before."

"Put me DOWN!" Sumomo fussed.

Andrew walked over to Yoh and Madison. "Yo, who's the blond school girl and the robot midget?"

"They're the answer to our guild problems." Yoh said proudly. "They're professionally hired help."

Andrew looked back at them. Su was approaching behind Maxwell with a boiling pot of water and a pair of salad tongs. Sumomo was still being studied by Ami.

"These are your professionals?" he scoffed. "A girl and a robotic Usuki? Was your brain fully reincarnated Yoh?"

Yoh rolled his eyes. "At least I didn't hire a cat and a hamster."

"The cat came with the package." Andrew sighed. "Ami-chan had to babysit while Luna and Artemis celebrated their anniversary. Besides I only hired her because you're always babbling about Sailor Moon."

Madison sighed as the two continued arguing. "You guys? We have a little problem."

The two stopped. "What is it?"

Madison spoke into her Neonav. "You can come in."

A door marked private slid open. "A pink haired girl wearing a blue forehead protector and a PURPLE HAIRED (remember, we decided on this) boy with a sword on his back walked in.

"This guild really is nice." the boy said. "I'm sure Capsule Corp. would be ecstatic to finance it."

The girl giggled. "Yes, I see much potential. So when do we start?"

"Start?" said a puzzled Yoh. "What do you mean?"

The girl smiled. "I am Konoha's greatest and smartest female shinobi, Haruno Sakura!"

"And traveling the future to visit my past, I am one of the last people alive with saiyan blood, and heir to the Capsule Corp Business. You may call me Trunks Brief."

"What?" asked Andrew. "Why are they here?"

Madison sighed. "I also hired my own team of professionals."

Yoh and Andrew fell to the ground. "How could you do that? You didn't eve discuss it with us first!"

Su's robots ran by chasing Maxwell and Sumomo who were being pursued by Diana.

"Yes, and I recall you two both discussed hiring them as well." she sighed.

Andrew sighed. "Yare, yare. So what do we do? You guys somehow have to fire your people."

"US!" Yoh yelled. "You have to fire yours! I already paid for mine."

"I did too!" said Madison. "And we can't afford to be wasting money."

All three sighed. "What to do now?"

They all plopped down into the waiting room chairs. They sat there for quite some time while the anime characters conversed with each other.

"Ugh this is too hard." sighed Yoh. "Why can't we get them to choose some way? I mean, that is what we hired them for; to solve our problems for us."

Andrew gasped. "For once, Yoh is right." he clapped his hands together. "Attention everyone. We have realized that we have a slight problem." he explained the situation to them. "So as you can see, we need you all to somehow choose which one of you guys will be officially hired."

They all stood with frowns of disappointment on their faces.

"I guess it can't be helped." sighed Ami.

"There's only one thing we can do." said Maxwell.

Su pulled out a ray gun. "A FIGHT TO THE FINISH!"

Trunks took her ray gun. "I think not."

"We should choose the best qualified here and they should hire them. Of course that is obviously me." said Sakura.

"I see what you mean." said Maxwell. "Something similar to what your world called the Chunnin Exam."

"Yes something like that." replied Sakura.

Sumomo jumped up. "If it's a battle of intelligence, then I think I have the best suggestion."

They all paid attention to her. She walked to a nearby overhead and connected herself. A screen popped up with a ton of information.

"This is a contest that I've participated in, various times. It's called BOG: Battle of Geniuses. This is where various smart people come together to show how smart they are." Sumomo pulled off her hat and 3 small medals fell out. "And I'm proud to say that I've won the last 3 years in a row."

Yoh, Madison and Andrew walked over to the screen and looked at the page.

"Interesting." Andrew remarked.

"Very impressive." said Madison.

"This contest is very complex and would honestly choose the best candidate for serving this guild. We each choose a competing partner and a supporting team, and battle against each other n a ballet of wits."

Madison looked over at Yoh. "So what do you think?" she asked. "Do you want to try this?"

"Even the other members could participate." said Andrew.

Yoh nodded. "We'll do this… on one condition."

"And that would be?" asked Andrew.

Yoh took out a marker and walked over to the screen. He crossed out a word and the top and replaced it with another.

"We change the name from BOG to BOTAE." he said.

"BOTAE?" asked Madison.

"BOTAE!" he said. "AniX will hold its very first Battle Of The Anime Einsteins!"

A few weeks later, the six competitors returned to the AniX guild, ready to begin. The AniX Council met them at them at the guild message board.

"First of all, I'd like to thank you all for coming out here." said Madison.

"As you know, our guild is currently experiencing financial difficulties." said Andrew. "Each one of you has been recognized because of your extraordinary levels of intelligence."

Yoh smiled. "Unfortunately, only one of you can be chosen; which is why this contest has started."

Madison took up and took out a clipboard from her blazer. "The style of this BOTAE contest will be like this— Each of the original candidates with be captains of their own respective teams. As mentioned before, you are allowed to request a vice captain. To make this contest more interesting, our guild members have also been assigned to each of your teams. This will show us your skills in leadership and responsibility. Also the guild members of the winning teams will be rewarded as well. So I think we should take attendance first."

Sumomo jumped off the shoulder of a young girl with long blond hair. "Sumomo is here! And I have brought my Vice-Captain, Chii-chan!"

The girl tilted her head to the side. "Chii?"

Madison put a checkmark of her clipboard. "Sumomo, you will be leader of Team Pink."

Two small hamsters jumped down from the message board desks and scurried over to Madison. "Yes, I'd like to inform you that I, Maxwell am also here. And I have brought as my Vice, a dear friend of mine, Dexter of the Hamhams."

A gray hamster that appeared to be wearing glasses bowed. "Nice you meet you all. I plan to do my best in this competition, all for a special lady."

His eyes began to sparkle and he stared aimlessly into space. Maxwell nudged Dexter with a ruler.

"This is no time to be dreaming about Pashmina." he scolded.

Madsion giggled. "Ok hamhams, you to will the leaders of Team Red."

Maxwell dragged the love dazed Dexter back to their seats.

"Next?" asked Madison.

A giant turtle shaped missile came flying out of the blue at Madison. Madison screamed. The missile hit her, causing an explosion, covering everyone in a black soot. Madison coughed. Two blond girls in school uniforms chuckled nervously.

"Baka." said the smaller one. "I told you not to press that one."

The older one laughed. "My Tama Missile wroks perfectly."

The younger one sighed. "Yare yare, Su-chan you'll end up destroying the guild before the contest starts."

Su laughed. "Don't worry Sara-chan, there's no way we can lose with my inventions."

Yoh sighed. "Su is here. And it looks like she brought Sara McDougal as her Vice."

Madison brushed the last bit of dust off her purple blazer. "Sure, why not. I'm guessing they can be Team Yellow."

Su pulled out a banana. "Team Yellow? Then this will be our mascot!"

A light blond dressed in a purple battle outfit chuckled. "This is our competition? I can't even use my mind techniques on them."

"Why not?" asked her pink haired partner.

"Because, I'm not sure if they even have minds to control. You think they're related to Naruto? They're just as ditzy."

The pink haired girl laughed. "You shouldn't talk Ino."

A vein popped up on Ino's head. "What did you say, Saruka-chan? Or should I say giant forehead girl?"

Sakura's eye twitched. "I wouldn't be talking piggy-san."

Ino held up her fist and began to growl. "Why you—"

Sakura began to growl back. They both began to stand up on their chairs, bashing their heads together.

"Ladies, ladies." said Andrew. "The battle is against the other team, not each other."

They both blinked and sat back down. "Gomen." they said shyly.

Madison giggled. "Sakura Haruno, and Ino Yamanaka, correct?"

They nodded. "Hai!"

"So Ino, you will be Sakura's vice?" said Yoh.

Ino put her hand to her cheek and began to laugh. "Hohohoho, me? the vice of this giant forehead? It's the other way around."

Sakura jumped up and pulled on Ino's cheek. "Baka! I believe Madison clearly stated the original candidate would be the captain. And if I recall correctly, I am the orginal candidate." she smiled deviously.

Ino growled. "But you're not worthy of being captain. You can't do anything right!"

Sakura stuck out her tongue. "How about we just ask Madison-san?"

They both stared at Madison. She began to chuckled nervously. "Erm, well I'll let you decide between yourselves."

Sakura's jaw dropped to the floor. A twinkled in Ino's eye sparkled as she smiled sinisterly.

Yoh tugged on Madison's blazer. "Why did you say that?"

Madison whispered. "Well true Sakura was my original choice, but look what Inoo's wearing."

Yoh looked at her. "What about it?"

"Can't you see? It's PURPLE!" she squealed.

Yoh fell off his chair. "So irrelevant."

"Anyways, back to business." said Madison. "Sakura and Ino will be Team Purple. Only 2 team are left. Where are they?"

A blue hair girl stood up. "I am here, with my vice." She looked down, thrust her arm downwards and dragged up a boy with HUGE glasses. "Melvin, what are you doing?"

The boy groaned. "Sorry Ami-san, I was so nervous that I couldn't sleep last night. I promised Molly-chan that I would win for her, I can't let her down."

Ami sighed. "We came here to do our best, and that's all. Victory shouldn't be our main objective."

Melvin jumped to his face. "But still, I'm fighting for the honour of the entire gang, Molly, Usagi and everyone and Juuban Junior High!"

His eyes began to flare. Ami sighed. "And they say girls have mood swings."

Yoh snickered. "Melvin-kun is even worse in person."

Madison sighed. "It's sorta sad. Oh well you two will be Team Blue."

Ami and Melvin bowed. "Arigato."

"So then last but not least would be Trunks' Team."

Trunks slumped back in his chair. "Ermm, I'm not exactly sure that I still want to participate in this contest."

Andrew looked puzzled. "Why not?"

The floor began to shake. Trunks sighed. The message board doors burst open; A blue haired woman storming into the guild.

" TRUNKS!" she screamed. "HOW COULD YOU FLY AWAY LIKE THAT!"

Trunks chuckled nervously. "Mother, I see you've made it down from the mountain."

A vein bulged on her head. "WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU? NOT ONLY DID YOU PUT A HOLE IN THE CAR WITH YOUR FIST, BUT YOU FLEW AWAY LEAVING ME BEHIND. ANDD YOU EVEN TOOK ALL MY CAPSULES! IT'S LIKE YOU WERE TRYING TO DITCH ME."

"DITCH YOU? NOOOO!!" then quietly under his breath. "Why would I want to ditch you."

She calmed down and patted Trunks head. "Well it's ok, I forgive you. You must have been so excited to start that you head wasn't in the right place. Because I know how anxious we are to win!"

"Yah, about that." Trunks began. "I think that we should—"

But he was cut off "Have our own uniform? A fan club? A TV commercial? We should start working right away."

Trunks sighed. "How exactly did you get here? You were stranded 2000 in the mountains!"

She chuckled and pulled out her cellphone. "You father may be arrogant, but he certainly comes in handy son. What a man.* she sighed a romantic sigh.

"DAD?" yelled Trunks.

He looked behind him to see Vegeta standing in the doorway.

"Take good care of your mother, son." he smiled.

"Dad!!" Trunks screamed. "Don't leave me!"

Vegeta smiled, then looked at his hand. "Oh look at the time, Bulla (not her name but NEO wunt let me put her real one) wanted to go shopping with Pan, and Kararot wanted to do some training."

"YOU'RE NOT EVEN WEARING A WATCH!" Trunks protested.

Vegeta staggered. "Erm, that's not the point, gotta go, I'll pick you back up later. Luv ya Bulma, BYE!" Vegeta took off flying, screaming. "I'M FREEEEEEEEEEEE!"

Trunks watched as his father did backflips in the air as he soared away. "Traitor." he sighed.

Bulma slapped Trunks' back. "Your father is quite man, which is why you must win this competition for him!" She looked around. "The competition isn't much, but we still have to DESTROY them. Go Team BRIEF!!"

Ino jumped up. "Excuse me? I wouldn't be talking, GRANDMA!"

There was a total silence. Andrew, Madison and Yoh began to walk slowly to their escape pods. Trunks began to tremble.

"Mother, she probably didn't mean it! She's just a child!" he begged.

The room became dark. Bulma's pupils completely disappeared.

3 hours later

Ino stood in crutches. "You judges are gunna allow that!! That's assault!!"

Yoh, Madison and Andrew were on a wide screen TV. "Erm, we didn't actually witness anything, so we cannot prove that you were attacked her not."

"But Madison was recording it!" Ino protested.

Madison hid her camera. "No I wasn't. But more important, Trunks and mother will be Team Green."

Bulma cracked her knuckles. "Wise decision. Team green? Meh, I can live with that."

Yoh smiled. "Now that the Team has been confirmed, we can start our contest."

'So what's gunna happen?" asked sara. "You gunna give us the test and will do it? Who ever scored the highest winner?"

Madison frowned. "That's an exam, not a contest. And we've had plently of those."

"Exactly." said Andrew. "But there will be an exam part to the quiz, but we've made it a lot more interesting."

He took out a remote with his tiger insignia on it. He clicked one button. Sceen arose from the each of the Team's desk, along with a folder coloured for that respective team.

"Your mission, which you have no choice but to accept is inside. The style for BOTAE will be similar to that of the Desert Plot. The test will be hidden, and you will only be able to find it by following the clues provided by you team supervisor. The quiz will be made and hidden. Because it's true you all have busy schedules we've provided this convenience for you. Since time is a major factor of the rating scheme we've made it so that you begin to be timed after requesting and receiving your instructions. This way no one can be judged improperly because of an inference with their personal schedule. But it is also up to you to choose the best time for you to take the quiz."

Chii tried opening their pink folder, but a slight shock of electricity stopped her.

Andrew chuckled. "Oh yes, one last thing I forgot to mention. That is a little precaution put so that the clues cannot be discovered beforehand. It is possible to try to find the quiz without looking at the clue, then finishing it before we start timing you. But chances of that are extremely slim, and not recommended. This is because there is an overall time limit for you to request your quiz, and it will not be provided after that specified time."

Yoh smiled. "Wakarimasu ka"

They all bowed. "Hai, wakarimasu."

"Good" said Madison. "Then this competition will start on the 11th of this month. What time? that's for you to find out. When the official contest has started and clue requesting is available will be posted on our guild board and homepage. It will be up to you to check for yourself. Also, when the quiz is posted will also be put up. You can foolishly try to look for it, or be smart and recruit members while you can. Each of you must have about 2 of our members on your team, so exceptions will be made. If you cannot find two, they will be provided for you."

"You have less than 2 days to prepare." said Yoh as the screen switched off. "use it wisely."

And so, the BOTAE began.
