She didn't have many friends either, not because she didn't want to but because where she lived was the hottest part of athenia and so not many lived there, it got to be 160* at times! This plannet was Ruled by the princess Cassandra created for the ultimate evil, but something went wrong. The citizens over threw the evil queen by using her one weakness against her, the power of the planets energy, The crystal. They jabbed her heart with pellets of the crystal. As she died she swore to curse the 5th generation of Athenians. Generations went by and no one saw any sign of her, people thought she was just scaring them. A non evil kingdom had been formed, Princess Crystal had just been born, it was the 5th generation, you guessed it, Crystal had the sprit of Cassandra inside of her plus her own. That's why today, Crystal when she experiences extreme anger, the Athenian warrior sign appears on the floor below her. This happens because Cassandra is trying to take her over. Every time she experiences this, a little of her soul is took away. Afterwards, she becomes very weak and in on instance she was unable to move. it litterally rips her appart inside (muccles and things) but, Echo neutralizes this because he is from Athenia. Or they think, It's really because the two have such a strong relationship just being there for each other is enough to make Cassandra sick and give up. Back to the back story! Crystal was always the best At controlling the planets energy source Electricity. But one day, When Crystal was five, the planet was destroyed by a ultimate evil. Not much is known about how or why, some thought it to be Cassandra's lost warriors. Others thought it was a alien civilation. For years the creatures and the millatary of Athenia fought the evil creatures. A town underground was made for the women and children, that's where crystal lived with her mother for a year. But one day the creatures found the underground tunnel and came to dystroy it and everyone in it. The young five year old had no grasp of the situation, she was catered to as a child of the kingdom, (NOT SPOILT!!!) She did want to fight the terrorists! At birth, the head of defense gave her a gift, A blue crystal capable of destroying. She retrieved it and instead of destroying the creature, ricochet back into her face, two shards. (this was due to her evil sprit taking over). In the kingdom, when a warrior was finally concidered brave he would get the athenian warrior mark on his forearms. Crystal then realized how strong these creatures were, she fled to Space. One day, when she was in search of food in the pantry of her father's ship, she found a tourist booklet to the planet of Mobious. She had searched space for 5 years before she found a new home she went to Mobious and although it took her a year to feel welcomed, when she did, she immediately decided to be part of the freedom fighters. She meet Echo on the first day on Mobious, she realized that he had the Athenian mark, he was the last other Athenian! It was love at first sight. She will travel back to Athena one day to fulfill her prophecy (in my unfinished novel). Instead of being raised in the castle like Crystal, He lived in something most would not even call a home! His father was head of the millatary so Echo never saw him, and his mother had left before he was born, His father did teach echo one thing, how to be a man. When The Dizaster occured (in Crystal's background story too) His father died almost as soon as the war began. Echo managed to escape and find Mobious. Because of the fact that He had traveled so far, He forgot all of his past, Till crystal Came and set him straight. Echo is the only thing keeping Crystal's evil sprit locked away and he would die to protect her, and that. When the war began, All the children over 13 were demanded to get a surgery to create electrical cables through their body so that if it ever came to using children in war, The sparks would create a temporarry adrenilane rush. The only problem with this is that in order to do it, their hearts had to be squeezed by the cables. It litterally was killing them. When Echo got to Mobious, Eggman got a hold of this, and used it as a minupulator to beat up Crystal. Crystal Confused ran off. But later that night found echo coughing up puddles of blood and crying. She found out too late, He told her right before his last shock and he died. Crystal released her inner deamond and Gained healing powers to bring him back from the dead. Their relationship has been VERY close knit since then Echo, Becomes depressed rarely and looks forward and has all of his life, that's one thing he admired about his father...
