To create your own Neohome 2.0, go to Neohomes
Click on CREATE A NEW NEOHOME. From there, you will be prompted to select where you want your Neohome built.

Neohomes can be made on side accounts as long as the Neopoints funding it come from your Main account.
TIP: If you enter the Neohome Spotlight, you can note the name of your main account in your entry so
that the trophy/prize will be sent to your main account.

Not at this time,but you can use posters, pictures, plants, fence, and furniture to partition your rooms.

You cannot add rooms to the new homes, but you can create rooms by using dividers such as chalkboards or posters or fencing or furniture or plants.

How do I apply wall and floor textures?
First, click on the Tools category in your Storage Shed and choose the wall or floor texture you would like to apply. Then click and drag with

TIP: This is something that has worked for many who have had tiling trouble...
1. remove all items from the area you're tiling.
2. tile one line at a time.
3. click on black area to get arrow back
4. save & repeat each step as needed
How to get back to the normal cursor from the paint roller cursor?
Click once on any item in the Storage Shed (don't drag it) and the cursor should change back.
How do you know if an item will work in Neohome 2.0?
Furniture and garden items for Neohomes 2.0 have a black house icon in the lower right corner and have a brown
or tan box around them when placed in Inventory. Only those items will go into the Neohomes 2.0.
Why can't I put Neohome items from the NC Mall in my Classic Neohome? ?
Neohomes items from the NC Mall cannot go in classic homes. Not sure if TNT will make them compatible in the near future
How do I place items in my Neohome or garden?
Placing items with your mouse is easy. All you have to do is click on the item in the Storage Shed window and then drag it into your workspace.
Once you have put the item in your Neohome/Garden, a small menu will appear that allows you to move the item up, down, or rotate it.
TIP: Remember complete Neohomes, Neohome additions, and Neopets cannot be rotated.
How do I place an item on top of another item?
If you want to, say, place a lamp on top of a table, place the lamp in the same spot as the table. Then, when the Item Manipulation Window appears,
hit the Up arrow in the menu to raise the lamp until it seems to be sitting on the table.
TIP: Remember raising and lowering an item means that you are changing its elevation, not its position. An item placed on another item may not
appear to be in the same spot when the view of the room is rotated.
I've looked at some Neohomes and they have items placed outside of space allotted for home. How do you create that illusion?
1. place your item within the designated area
2. then use the object manipulation window to raise the item
3. finally position it where you would like it to appear
How do I get more items?
You can purchase more items for your Neohome in shops around Neopia, Trading Post, Auctions, user shops, and at the NC mall with neocash.
How do I remove items?
To remove an item from your Neohome, simply click on it and drag it back into your Storage Shed.

To add an item to your Storage Shed, go to your Inventory and click on the item. Then select Put into your Storage Shed from the drop-down menu.
The item will then be added to your Storage Shed and ready for use in your Neohome.

To remove items from your Storage Shed, go to your Storage Shed using the link in the site navigation menu above your Inventory. Once there, you'll
be able to remove items from your Storage Shed and put them back in your Inventory, much in the same way you would move items from your Safety Deposit
Box to your Inventory.
Where can I purchase Neohomes Additions?
Neohomes Additions can only be purchased through the NC Mall with Neocash.
TIP: Remember complete Neohomes, Neohome additions, and Neopets cannot be rotated.
When you buy one of those 'extra rooms' at the NC mall, (ex. Neopian Tree House, Lost Desert Windmill etc.) Can
you put furniture inside it? Or is it just for decoration?
You can place items or pets to in the open areas, but you cannot go inside or rotate them. They're just for decoration.
When you buy fence, do you buy multiple sections of fences or can you use one in multiple places?
The fence is individual pieces and cannot be expanded.
TIP: Floor tiles and Wallpapers you can use indefinitely
Do you have to buy each and every stone if I wanted to use it in my garden to make a path?
Or is there a way to have the same one item appear more than once in the home?
No. You have to buy more than one piece to create a path.

How do you know if an item is in use in your Neohome?
If an item is in use in your Neohome, it will have a blue line around it. Items not currently placed anywhere in your Neohome will not have this blue
line around it.
I turned animation off in the Options Menu, so why is my Neopet still animated?
Only the animation for Neohomes items can be turned off. Your Neopet will always be animated in your Neohome as long as it is wearing animated items.
How do I save my work?
Click on the diskette icon to keep the changes that you've made.
How do I edit my Neohome 2.0 OPTIONS?
* Click on the Checkmark icon on the bottom right and corner to change the options.
* Click Confirm to make the changes active
Is there a way to return my Neohome to the way it used to be if I don't like the changes I made?
Yes, you can go back to your last saved Neohome configuration by pressing the Revert button. Doing so will return your Neohome to the way
it looked the last time you saved.
How do I know what my Neohome will look like for visitors?
Preview Mode displays your Neohome as visitors will see it. Just click on the eye icon inside the Neohomes application to switch to
Preview Mode. You can also go to your user lookup and click on your Neohome to view it as a guest.
My Neohome doesn't show up on my User Lookup, but a guard does. Is there a way to change that?
Your Neohome is set to private. To make it public again, you need to go to "CUSTOMISE MY NEOHOME", and then click on the Options icon
(the square with the check mark). You will be able to set your Neohome viewable to: "Everyone", "Only Neo Friends", "Only VIP Neo Friends", or "None".
When choosing "Everyone", the Neohome will be shown on the user lookup.
TIP: Don't forget to save to make the changes active.
How do I remove my Neohome 2.0 from my User Lookup?
Add the following code to the beginning of your profile and it will remove your current Neohome module:

You'll then be given the option of saving the photo as the default view of your Neohome that is seen in your User Lookup.
TIP: You can also submit your snapshot to the Neohomes Spotlight.
