Hello! Welcome one and all to the official home of the finest guild reviewing this side of Faerieland. After a couple months of construction, The Reviewer is finally re-opening to the public for Summer 2011.

Here at The Reviewer, we provide honest reviews of every guild - from those big NR ones, to those small and cozy Harry Potter and anime ones. Our mission is to help out you fine guildless folks out there by providing in-depth information what each guild has to offer. Well, maybe not each guild...but most of them. (:

biography

For you neo-veterans out there, you may remember a super-epic guild review site that reviewed in the winter of about two years ago, I suppose. It was called The Reviewer, well hey...that was us. After quite a bit of time off, Kali and Dotty have finally decided that they have time to run this amazing establishment again.

Our reviewing system is quite epic, you see. Owners submit a request for review (we hardly deny requests) and then we secretly drop one of our super stealthy reviewers into the guild for a few days. They meet all of the members, get somewhat involved, and come to understand the whole member experience...secretly, of course. Its pretty ninja. These are our reviewing guidelines.

Waitlist

We can get pretty busy around here. You can check our progress right here. If we haven't gotten to your guild yet, its not that we've forgotten. Our reviewing process is rather thorough, so it may take awhile.

Request

So in order to get your guild reviewed by our fabulous reviewers, a request must be submitted first. There are also a few guidelines that your guild must be compliant with in order to be eligible for a review.

1. Your guild must be about 1 month old. If you think its well-established and its not that old yet, go ahead and submit. We'll decide case-by-case.
2. You guild must adhere to TNT's rules. Most of them.

An owner must neomail the following form to this account.

Covert

Its quite difficult to give a thorough explanation of Covert without giving away its most innermost secrets. While it is certainly tempting to reveal the mysteries of this establishment, I am bound by morals to keep most of them under wraps. In short, I can only describe Covert as everything an NR guild should be and a little bit more. I would call it unique, but there must be a stronger word – right? Oh yeah, its Covert. Basically, I have to put this guild in a category all of its own.

Myriad

Dear Myriad, your guild is one that many would call the ideal guild, Neopets related, active, with tons of things to do! In this review I tried to dig as deep as I could to find a few weak points in your perfect guild... Myriad is your basic cookie cutter guild the kind that everyone wants, active, family oriented, and with tons of things to do. In my opinion Myriad is a very well established successful guild. With a few things to improve their first impressions by way of adding good layouts to important pages and perhaps adding a little creativity, I know Myriad will be very well off.

Chaotique

The name is most often the most important part of the guild. It sets the tone of the guild and is the first thing that prospective members hear when advertising. For example, if a guild has the word Neo in it, it's gonna be a Neo-related guild. If it has something like Paradise, it's probably gonna be a relaxing environment. So with a name like Chaotique, what's there to expect except a chaotic environment? The catch phrase for Chaotique is Sanity forgotten/optional. The guild is also self described as super fishtastic, & tighter than super-skinny jeans. The guild sure lives up to it's title and is complete with many crazy members. But there's a bit more to the guild than just crazy members so let's dig a bit deeper.

review criteria

Kay, so if you're a little curious as to how we go about reviewing the guilds, this is how we determine scores.

First Impression: This will be based on the outward appearance. Is the layout appealing? Does everything seem well organized?

Graphics: This sort of goes along with first impressions. Are the graphics of good quality? Is there a consistent style?

Organization: With all guild elements considered, is everything easy to navigate?

Activity: The reviewer will go into depth on whether your guild is slow, uber active, or pretty cozy.

Members: Members will not be judged individually. People join guilds because of members, so we aim to give an unbiased explanation of the entire guild body. Are you guys crazy and hyper? Or maybe chill and relaxed?

With all items considered, your guild will be rated on a scale of 1-5 carrots and the score will be broken down by category on a scale of 1-10.
