The leaves on the forest trees move gently because of a soft, chilling breeze. The stars are shining and it was silent. The only sounds to be heard come from the movements of the leaves, and in a far distance you can hear some little, high-pitched voices singing in a foreign language, whose are slowly coming closer.

You slowly step back, scared of the unknown, but suddenly a twig snaps under your feet. You take a few steps back quickly. The voices immediately stop, and all of a sudden the forest looks darker than before. Your heart starts pounding and you start breathing faster, filled with fear of what might come now.

Suddenly, two little, glowing red eyes appear. They watch you, blinking and moving to the left and the right with every breath you take. After some seconds, a second pair of eyes appears. And a third, and a fourth... In no time, you're surrounded by little, moving, red eyes. They slowly come towards you. You know there is no way out. You look around. You notice a stick beside your foot and pick it up. You gaurd yourself with it, not knowing what to do...

Suddenly a horse-like creature appears. You take little steps back from the creature, then suddenly you fall. You begin to run, but you are already surrounded. You take a look back at the creature and notice some bandages around its neck and legs. Then you take a closer look and you happen to see its wings, damaged. You thought you heard somthing, someone talk. Then it started talking again. A few seconds later you realized it was the creature standing in front of you...

Welcome to my world, stranger. He said. You shouldn't be out here at this time of day, or at least this time of the year. It is very dangerous. Here, sit on my back and I will guide you out of here.
Not thinking, you climb on and sit on his back.

The creature turns back and looks at you. I am Lazor, and I am your guide through the night. Here take this. He hands you a pendant and you take it. Whenever you are scared just think of me. You look at the pendant. Thank you, Lazor. You look up, but Lazor is gone...

Appearance
Colors: His fur color is a very dark green, almost black. Several scars are scattered over his body, leaving some very dark red/brownish markings. His manes and tail are of a orange, red color that is lighter than his body color, and they tend to be very elegant if they are clean. His hooves are metallic black, so shiny that the environment is vaguely being reflected.

Wings / Horn: His wings are fragile, as the corners are damaged. His horn sparkles when its night, so he can still see when its dark.

Scars: The scars on his body are of a very dark brownish red. He has several scars around his body and one on her face.

Accessories: He's got a bandage around his neck, and around his left foreleg. He also wears a very beautiful, black bridle with golden plates, given to her by one of the Guides.

How I met my petpet

Story

Nobody knew where he came from. He was dirty, wet, and filthy. He just stood there in the dark forest all alone. A cold gust of wind made him shiver. He wrapped his tail around his wounded body. He looks like a newborn foal, but off course, not a normal one. He has a long horn that has a crack and the top was broken off. It was as almost as if there was light inside of it. His face had a scar that was about 4 centimeters long. His face was also covered with a mixture of wet mud and a few dried up blood. His wounds were hurting badly, specially because it was a cold rainy night. There were numerous leaves and twigs around him that if she moved an inch, he could get wounded even more.
His mind, which was usually very strong, started to weaken, and his thoughts slowly became blurred. He didn't have a single clue anymore on how he came here. The only thing he could think about was the fact that he had escaped from the "Red Eyes" which had been chasing him around the haunted forest. He stood up, carefully avoiding the twigs.

As he stood up, he moved his head down in search of something to eat. He hadn't eaten in a while, or at least he thought so, but he was very hungry. He was disappointed that he didn't find anything edible to eat. He lifted his head up again. His stomach was rumbling.

I should keep searching for food. If I fall asleep now, I may not have anymore strength later on. He thought. He took a deep breath and started walking again. His legs were severely hurting and bleeding every minute because of him constantly bumping into trees and walking into spiky bushes. He stopped for a moment to regain his strength. A few seconds later, he heard someone behind the bushes behind him. He looked back and saw it. It was a "Red eye". The young foal ran away quickly, but the "Red eye" was catching up to him. He ran until he couldn't run anymore. When he stopped, he looked behind to see if the red eye was still there. Fortunately, it wasn't. He then lay down and fell asleep.

He was awoken by the sunlight. He was all covered up in dried mud and some dried up blood. He tried to stand up, but his whole body was too stiff. He then looked around. Wow. He thought. He looked behind and saw the trail of mud he left behind last night when he was running away from the "red eye". He was in a place where there was clean grass. He ate until she was full. Then he heard something. It was like water falling down. It was. There was a waterfall. He crawled towards the sound of the waterfall, and almost fell in a little lake next to it.

When he got there, he took a drink then went in and washed himself. The blood washed of easily and when he cleaned his manes, they started to shine, reflecting the sunlight. He enjoyed every moment he had in that lake. Although his whole body was hurting, he smiled. The wounds were still there, but they weren't bleeding anymore. Now that he was clean, her true color became visible. His fur was a shade of dark green and black. His manes and tail was a bright orange and red color.
He crawled towards the shadow of a small tree in the middle of the clearing, and laid down. After some time, he had fallen asleep again.

When he woke up, his throat felt dry. He took a drink from the lake and it seemed to do the trick. Then when he walked back to the tree, he saw something glow. He ran towards a bush and saw a pendant. I wonder what this is. He said to herself.

Hello Lazor. Said a voice coming from the pendant. Lazor was shocked. He dropped the pendant and took a few steps back. Don't be scared, I am a guiding spirit trapped inside this pendant. The voice said. Since I am a spirit, I can transform into anything I want. This pendant I am currently in is not just any ordinary pendant as you may have noticed. Its a magical pendant created by one of the most famous guides a long time ago, allowing the wearer to see through all the dust, fog and the darkness in this forest. However, not everyone is allowed to wear this pendant. The pendant chooses who it thinks would be suitable to wear it. And it has chosen you. Now, the ones who are able to wear this is very lucky to be able to experience a wonderful ability. However, there is one thing you should know. If you decide to wear this pendant, you have to do something. The spirit said.
What? What do I have to do? Lazor asked.
The wearer of this pendant has to become a guide. A guide of the forest is a person or creature who guides people out of the forest if they are lost. They also have to live here. So, do you want to be a guide? The spirit asked.
I'll do it, I'll be a guide. Lazor said.
Good. Said the spirit. Now take this pendant and wear it
Lazor took the pendant and wore it. There was a sudden glow somewhere in the forest and before Lazor looked up, the spirit was gone.
