Welcome guest, this page is about stopping the use of animal fur. It may seem very strange, but just by learning information can make a difference. If you think that information isn't enough, then that is okay, because I also give away some links that really feed some animals, or help them survive, and it is all free of course. How it started
I decided that I wanted a pet page to be dedicated to this when I realized how many animals were being killed each year just for thier fur. Then I thought that I could make a difference just by giving away a link to an animal rescue site. A big inspiration to me was Calzi, because her helping_pets pet page fed a lot of hungry animals.
How you can help
You can help by going to a website that tells you information. I can't give out the links though because I might get frozen, sorry! You can google "Animal fur information" though. These sites will give you more information about animal fur, you can help by learning about this stuff.
You can also help by advertising this page with the HTML code near the bottom of this page. Another more direct way that you can help, is by not wearing fur coats.
The sites below, are my favorite sites to help animals, because just by clicking, you can really feed an animal, or help them. What I think
If hunters need an animals fur, than I think that they should use more then just the fur. Like maybe they should eat the animals meat, and use almost every part of the animals body, like Native Americans did.

- You may think that
101 dalmations (the disney movie) was totally fake, but it really is possible to make one coat out of 101 puppys.
- It is illeagal to kill some animals for fur.
- In China, dogs are raised and sold for their fur and meat.
- Seals have very soft fur (I have felt it before!) and thier fur is used lot. Though it isn't any more because it is illeagal to own a seal pelt except for educational perposes in most places.
- It is almost impossible to stop
all hunters from taking animals fur.
- Sometimes a whole heard sheep are shorn (That means that thier wool is shaven off), but they still live.
-People could also use the alternative of faux fur... Made from plastic and chemicals.
-Faux is fake, but feels just as real.
-Green Peace tryed to stop the seal fishery in Newfoundland, and they did pretty well. Lots of people went out of business, went poor, and some died because they didn't know how to work anything else; sealing was their life. But you know what? Some people from Green Peace wear leather. (Leather is from cows.) There is something wrong with that.
-About 100 years ago in Newfoundland some fishermen would have died without hunting seals
- In some cases it in good to hunt, one example of that it the white tail deer. If they arn't huunted, then their population will grow too numerous, so they won't have enough food.
