STEP ONE: ANCIENT MAP OF NEOPIA
Read through Chapter One.
When you get to page 3, click on the map to receive your Ancient Map of Neopia



* The map will show up in your Quest Log.
** Chapter 2 has no step - continue to Chapter 3 **

STEP TWO: WIND UP POCKET WATCH
Read through Chapter Three, on the last page click on the blue box for your challenge.

In the Hall of Heroes, you must click on 3 statues in order: King Altador, Jerdana and then Siyana
to receive your Wind Up Pocket Watch.


NC CHALLENGE AVAILABLE
IMPORTANT: The NC Challenge is not a required step for you to be able to finish the plot.
These are extra activities that you pay to do.

***Move on to STEP THREE if you are not doing the NC Challenge.***

Once you have bought your NC Challenge Ticket from the Mall and have activated it,
you can now participate in the extra activities.
Jordie is our NC Challenge character, he links to the NC Challenge page when he has a quest for us.
To begin the NC Challenge:
1. Click on Jordie on page 2

2. Click on the PLAY Button on your NC Challenge page and you will get a clue to the challenge.
3. Go to Altador and visit the Magical Marvels Shop, click the shopkeeper (but you don't have to buy anything).
4. Play Crisis Courier and beat the score of 450.

If you are successful, your NC Challenge page will show your prize and the word COMPLETED.

STEP THREE A: SHINY MECHANCIAL FAERIE FOUNTAIN
Read Chapter 5 and click on the Statue to receive your Shiny Mechanical Faerie Fountain.



STEP THREE B: BUILD YOUR OWN FLYING SHIP
At the end of Chapter 5 click on the blue box for your challenge.
*Play a new game called CLOUD RAIDERS.

* Send a 1000+ score to receive your Build Your Own Flying Ship prize.



NC CHALLENGE TWO

***Move on to STEP FOUR if you are not doing the NC Challenge.***

1. Click on Jordie or go straight to the NC Challenge page.
2. Click Play on the NC Challenge page and get the clue.
3. Go to the Healing Springs and click on the link down between the Faerie's tail and get a message.

4. Go to the Colouring page and click on Jordie's picture and get a message.

5. Play Extreme Faerie Cloud Racer and beat the score of 160.




STEP FOUR: MYSTERIOUS ORCHID
Read Chapter 6.
Go to Terror Mountain and explore (click into each link) around Top of Terror Mountain, Happy Valley and the Ice Caves, until you find the Mysterious Orchid.

**I found mine at the Ice Arena.


STEP FIVE A: STEAM HORN
Read Chapter 7 and click on the Steam Horn to get your prize


STEP FIVE B: SPARKING ICY WINTERSCAPE
At the end of Chapter 7, click on the blue box

and you will be taken to play a new game called Clara on Ice. Send a score to beat 1000 and receive your prize of Sparkling Icy Winterscape.



NC CHALLENGE THREE
1. Click on Play on the NC Challenge page and read clue.

2. Go to the Ice Caves and click into the Ice Crystal Shop for your next clue

3. Click on the Ice Crystal Shop Shopkeeper for your last clue.


4. Play Snowroller and beat the score of 100 and receive your prize of Sparkling Ice Caves Background.


** Chapter 8 has no step - continue to Chapter 9 **

STEP SIX A: Mechanical Molla Flower
Read Chapter 9 and on page 1, click the Flower Key


STEP SIX B: Deployed Parachute
Finish reading Chapter 9, and on the last page, click the blue box to be taken to the new game, CAVE GLIDER.


Send a score of 2500+

NC CHALLENGE FOUR
Click on Jordie on page 2

or go straight to the NC Challenge page
1. Click on Play on the NC Challenge page and read clue.
2. Clue directs you to the new land, Moltara and to Cog's Togs - read the message at the top of the page.
3. Click the Shopkeeper and read the clue.
4. Play Tunnel Tumble and send a score to beat 650.



Prize:Pipe and Gear Crown


Go back to the NC Challenge page and pick up your bonus items for doing all 4 NC Challenges.


STEP SEVEN A: Silver Gear Table
Read Chapter 10.
On page 2, click on the item made from the 3 prizes to be taken to Clockwork Codebreakers.


Send a 500+ score to receive Silver Gear Table.



STEP SEVEN B: Charred Steam Wings
Read Chapter 10.
On page 3, click on the blue box to be taken to Moltara Run.


Send a 375+ score to receive Charred Steam Wings.

*** I sent a score of 388 but did not get a popup to tell me I had won the prize.
The Charred Steam Wings were in my inventory.


STEP EIGHT A:Molten Rock
ALL OF STEP EIGHT IS NOW CLOSED!

Read Chapter 11.
On page 3, click on the blue box to go to a group task activity called Moltara Meltdown.




There is a waiting period of 5 minutes (droped down from 10 minutes) between successful attempts.

After successfully completing the task 6 times, you will receive your Molten Rock.




STEP EIGHT B: Fire Muffin
Continue with the Moltara Meltdown activity and after 12 successful attempts at attaching the pipe, you will receive a Fire Muffin.


STEP EIGHT C: Molten Pile of Dung
Continue with the Moltara Meltdown activity and after 18 successful attempts at attaching the pipe, you will receive a Molten Pile of Dung.


STEP EIGHT D: Rock Mote
Continue with the Moltara Meltdown activity and after 24 successful attempts at attaching the pipe, you will receive Rock Mote


STEP EIGHT E: Underground Explorations
Continue with the Moltara Meltdown activity and after 30 successful attempts at attaching the pipe, you will receive Underground Explorations


ATTENTION:
Over the last couple of days since these items have become available, there has been confusion on when the items are available.
I have no concrete evidence to support any of the previous steps.

All I can do is put in the guide, my own experience with this part and the majority findings of users on the plot board.

1. Molten Rock IS still available today.
It was released on Thursday. Not available Friday, then re-released on Saturday and is still available today (Sunday).

2. Fire Muffin was released on Friday, but was not available on Saturday.
Some on the boards posted they got it, but a majority posted that they didn't get it.
FIRE MUFFIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE SUNDAY OR TODAY(Monday)

3. Molten Pile of Dung was released on Saturday.
MOLTEN PILE OF DUNG WAS NOT AVAILABLE SUNDAY OR TODAY(Monday)

4. Rock Mote was released Sunday.

5. Underground Exploration is available today (Monday).

Making petpets
THIS IS NOT A PLOT STEP, BUT AN ACTIVITY AVAILABLE AT THE NEW WORLD OF MOLTARA.

Go to Moltara and find:
Shiny Obsidian (rock formation on the left of the city)
Miscellaneous Gears, and Scrap Metal and Stone (both found randomly by refreshing Moltara City).
Mix the items at Tangor's Workshop for these petpets:

Miscellaneous Gears + Shiny Obsidian = Oop


Scrap Metal and Stone + Shiny Obsidian = Dal


Miscellaneous Gears + Scrap Metal and Stone = Ada


Miscellaneous Gears + Scrap Metal and Stone + Shiny Obsidian = Gio


Ada and Gio = Adagio


Oop + Dal = Daloop
