Check this page each Thursday to see if your mall code needs updating. If there is a need for immediate change, you will receieve a NeoMail to update the code from mutant_scordrax, Franklinnc1980 or Auntadria.

2) The Land of Roo banner must appear in your shop. The Land of Roo banner is the ONLY mall banner that can appear in your shop or lookup. You can not be in another mall while in a Roo Island Mall.

3) Franklinnc1980, AuntAdria or mutant_scordrax are the only mall members who will notify you of changes to the mall or updates to the ads and banners.

4) 90% of the items in your shop MUST fit your category title, Land of Roo, Boardwalk Shops and King Roo shop owners can only hold a few items outside their category and they must be priced at low SW value for quick sale. Please try to not stock too much of another mall member's category. This puts your mall mates at a disadvantage. The only exception to this guideline are a few shops in the smaller malls with really expensive stock (they are allowed a few extra percent margin) these are: Maps/Paintbrushes, Medicine, Neggs, Codestones/Dubloons, and Coupons and Tokens. 5) Because Training (Codestones, Faeries and Dubloons) is a small category, shops are not allowed to carry more than 5 training items for sale at one time, and those items must be priced at low SW for quick sale.

6) If you plan to leave the Land of Roo Mall, notify Mutant_scordrax three days prior to leaving. This allows time to fill your shop category. Shop owners who do not give notice before leaving the mall will be refused entry to Roo Island or any other Franklinnc1980 mall.

7) Restock at a MINIMUM of once a week. Restocking more frequently will improve your shop sales. You must update your banner ONCE A WEEK on Thursdays. If you aren't online on Thursday, please do so as soon as possible. This keeps me from having to send a ton of neomails.

8) Please keep your mall banners updated and pay your Notice Board fees on time. If you will be away for more than a week, notify your branch manager so they understand any delay in banner updates. If you will be away when an NB fee is due, pay your fees in advance.

9) You must be friendly and considerate. Rudeness will not be tolerated, and is grounds for dismissal.

Advertising your shop on the Shop Boards will help increase traffic to your shop. When you see another Roo Island Mall member on the boards, please be thoughtful, it's an opportunity to make a friend and give them a bump. Roo Island Mallers are all working together as a team to make our shops successful.

You are welcome to create a or use a shop speciality ad in addition to the Roo Island Mall banner. AuntAdria has designed custom shop category ads specifically for the Roo Island Mall members. If you would like a shop category ad, please contact AuntAdria. Ads will be built in her available time and preference will be given to Marketplace size shops or Notice Board ads first.

Want more advertising? Consider placing your own Notice Board advertisement for your shop. AuntAdria has created several shop category ads for the mall that you can use in your shop and as your notice board advertisement. The ad for your shop is 600wide, and the ad for the notice board is 538wide. Please use the smaller ad for the Notice Boards, it is the correct size for the Notice Boards.

If you are in a Roo Island Mall that participates in NB advertising, and unwilling to contribute to the Notice Board Ads, Roo Island Mall reserves the right to recruit a shop that is willing to contribute to the Notice Board Ads, or relocate your shop to mall who participates in optional NB's only.
