TML's Mall Rules
These rules are designed to help all mall members make as much profit as possible out of being in a mall. If a member is found to be in violation of one or more rules, the mall manager or a member of the main council will send them a warning and expect them to make corrections. Continued violations could result in being dropped from or even banned from the TML Malls, since it is not fair to the other members. All mall members are required to follow TNT rules in there shops and on userlooks. Failure to do so can result in removal from the mall.

These rules are designed to work for us now and in the future as we grow.

These rules are also used to help us decide who should move to what mall. We look at how much you upgrade, the types and variety of items you stock, and how fully stocked your shop is when we decide if someone is ready to move up to a bigger, more profitable mall, or even down to a quieter, less competitive mall.

1. Shop Size
- Mall members must, at a minimum, upgrade enough to stay visible in one of the marketplaces. Main Markeplace, Mystery Island Marketplace, or Haunted Marketplace.

    a. New mall members that are not yet large enough to be visible in the Spooky Marketplace will be given thirty days to upgrade enough to be in that market.

    b. With the exception of those new mall members, no member will allow their shop to fall below minimum marketplace size.

    c. Mall members are advised that being at the top of their marketplace hut or tombstone can really increase business.
2. Stock
- Members should should stock only what their shop is selling. We will allow up to 10% of your stock for other items.
    a. We understand that reasonable overlap occurs, but please be courteous by not competing with someone in your own mall.

    b. Members will also have a good selection of merchandise to choose from. Here are some guidelines:

        i. Shop size 200-299: five pages
        ii. Shop size 300-399: six pages
        iii. Shop size 400-499: seven pages
        iv. And an additional page for each hundred sizes after that.
        v. Some categories, such as Job Coupons and paint brushes, don't have a very big variety, so exceptions may be made for members stocking one or more of these areas.
3. Banners and Links
    a. The mall banner must remain in your shop at all times.

      i. If any updates are made to the banner html, you will receive notification by or from the mall manager.
      ii. Banners are expected to be kept up-to-date at all times, and must be updated within five days of notification by the mall manager.

    b. No links to other malls or shops outside of the TML Guild are allowed in any shop.

    c. Absolutely no changes may be made to TML mall coding on grounds immediate dismissal.

      i. Links to petpages, users, and the TML are permitted.
4. Advertising
    a. Mall advertising will be mandatory. Mall #1 will do 4 million dollar ads on a weekly basis.

    b. The other malls will be required to do group advertisements. When a mall does this, the current members must be in agreement about the price and the mall manager must be notified.

    c. Ads must be paid no later than 48 hours before they are posted on the notice board. d. Unpaid ads can and will be sold to other interested parties.

    e. If this continues to be a problem from week to week where a member is delinquent in paying for their ad, it will be grounds for dismissal.
5. Disappearance
- If a member will not be available for an extended period of time, they must contact the mall manager as soon as possible to make special arrangements.

6. Mall placement
- members may be moved into another mall or category at the discretion of the mall manager and main council. These are the things that will be considered:

    a. Shop size

    b. Variety of items

    c. Percentage of items in category

    d. Willingness to advertise (for example, mall one members are required to participate in a million-neopoint ad)

    e. Ability to make mall banner updates timely.
7.Conflicts
- if any issues come up you and another mall member, do not contact them directly. Neomail the mall manager, Chakrabet, and explain the situation to her. If chakrabet is unavailable or no response is received within a day, neomail your question to Amsmani.

8. Violations
- if a mall member is in violation of these rules they will be neomailed a request to make a correction.
    a. If the problem is not fixed within a reasonable time, the member will be removed from the mall.

    b. A mall member that has been removed may reapply.
9. Notice to Leave
- As common courtesy to mall management, when anticipating departing your mall, please be so kind as to give a 2 week notice. If this is not done, we cannot accept you back as a member again at a later date.
TML Management reserves the right to add, change, or alter any mall rule as they see fit
without notice.
