As you're walking through Neopia you hear a faint, fairground type music playing - you follow the sound and end up standing before the tallest buildling you have ever seen! Looking up at this building you see bubbles shooting from the very top, large pink bubbles. "Strange" You whisper to yourself, but you admit you are intrigued to find out what lies within. You look around you, checking that nobody is around, then place your hands on the big, shiny door handle. And push.

You shut the door quietly behind you, and stare down a very pink, long corridor with pictures hanging from each side. You notice that, again, there are pink bubbles shooting from the ceiling. You find yourself staring in awe, at the numerous sculptures around you, that seem to be made out of...bubbles?


*cough* "Excuse me. You jump and twirl round, only then do you notice a small, wooden desk in the corner and an old striped Aisha staring at you down her glasses sat behind it. Yes? Well don't just stand there.. answer me!, she snaps. "Erm, well. Um. Where am I?". As those final words come out of your mouth the Aisha's mouth drops, and continues to stare at you through her sharp eyes. Where are you? WHERE are you? You, my dear, why you are in the Bubblegum Factory! Now are you going to stand there all day or are you going to enter? Oh, and please remember to sign your name on the visitors list. You stand staring at this Aisha. The 'Bubblegum Factory', what a strange idea! Are you going to continue standing there, or are you going to move and let the others through? You notice a que beginning to form behind you, quickly you apologise and move on to sign your name.

KOZMIC BUBBLES;

Not knowing where to go, or what to do - you knock on the nearest door to you. As you wait you read the sign attatched to the front.

KOZMIC BUBBLES
Do NOT disturb when the blue light, above, is on.

The blue light was currently on - oops! The door swings open, making you jump, and standing before you was a brown and pink ixi. Her bright sparkling blue eyes scan over you Can't you read? She points to the sign, and then to the blue light above it. "Ur, sorry I didn't notice."
Ok, so what do you want? You look behind her and notice a sparkling pink room, with many pictures of ixi's that looked like this one pinned up on the walls, and framed landscapes. You also notice a map, of what you assume to be, a map of this building. "Could I perharps..borrow that map? I don't know where I'm going." Suddenly the ixi throws back her head and laughs, she looks straight at you and smiles. You're new around here aren't you? Well I'm KB - the owner of this here factory. She sighs, then welcomes you into her office. She sits elegantly on a chair, and offers you to do the same. I'm not that busy right now, so I guess I can show you around, and tell you a bit about the place on the way!

Well I'm Kozmic Bubbles, better known as KB. And you must be... She looks at you for some kind of hint. Oh yes! guest! How silly of me to forget!
I'm the 8th owner of this factory, it was started by my mum's, gran's, auntie's, gran. Get it? Good. My dear old mum passed away last year, and it was her wish for me to carry on the factory. Why bubblegum you ask? Ha! I've asked myself that question many a time, and I can never seem to find the answer. Personally, I love bubblegum! I believe it to be a magical sweet, with the right ingredients of course, and here at the Bubblegum Factory - we have just that! But of course, I couldn't tell you them - because then everybody across Neopia would know the 'secret ingredient' and our factory wouldn't be that special anymore! Anway, enough talking - let's start the tour!

THE FACTORY;

You follow KB out of her office, you watch her smiling - obviously proud of the factory. Walking down the corridor you find yourself taking in every detail, each picture, colour, bubble - everything. You watch the bubbles (which you have realised come in many different colours) shoot out from the ceiling. One falls onto your hand, you stare in shock as the bubble pops - then fizzes and turns to a pale pink - it releases an amazing smell - you begin to wonder, maybe...perhaps.... you check that KB isn't looking, then raise your hand to your mouth. It tastes delicious! Suddenly you feel really happy! You're desperate to taste different colours. Not realising that KB has stopped to watch you, you carry on jumping to reach the bubbles then licking, and tasting each sensational taste.


You like it then? You jump, and nod as you see KB smiling at you, she herself catches a bubble and licks her hand, Mmm, strawberry!! My favourite you know! Well here we are, room number one of the Bubblegum Factory, here the ingredients are sorted by our experts so that only the finest are put into the gum. It is important that you don't touch anything in here. KB puts her hoof against the door and, slowly, it opens. You feel your eyes widen at the sight! Small faeries, of every colour imagineable, are zooming around the room carrying bananas, rasperries, strawberries and even objects that you don't recognise and placing each in it's own basket. You duck as one of the smallest faeries flies over you carrying a large green...thing, and puts it into a big, green basket. "Wow" Again, you notice KB looking, and smiling at you. This, is only the begininng!

Once you're back into the corridor, you start to count each door.

45, 46, 47...Here we are, room number two! Also known as the cooking pot! Here each different flavour is made by adding the fruit and our special ingredients She winks at you, then pushes open the door. Again you feel your eyes widen at the next room. Around 20 metal cooking pots, taller than your average house filled the room, wooden spoons could be seen poking out the top of each - magically turning on its own. A different colour smoke emitting from each pot. The smell that filled the room was amazing, different fruits and "special ingredients" all mixed together. You knew you could stay all day, tasting each pot over and over again until you felt sick, but once again you could sense KB watching you. She yawns, I'm getting tired, how about just one more room? The best room of all!


You watch KB turn and exit from the room, you take one last look then hastily run after her. A faerie, larger than those in the Sorting Room, aproaches KB, Miss. Bubbles, could you please sign this form? It's about the new flavour! KB takes a pencil from behind her ear, and scribbles her name on the form. The faerie smiles at you, and flies off down the corridor in the opposite direction. You're back to looking at the pictures on the wall, they're all pictures of faeries of different colours and different shaped wings. Reading the signs below you realise that they are all workers, past and present, from the factory. You smile at one, one that looks alot like you, the sign reads:
Dear Alice, you will be greatly remembered by everyone one of us at Bubblegum Factory.

You read the sign over and over again. Alice? Aunt Alice? Worked here at the Bubblegum Factory! You start to wonder why she had never told you about it, or shown you it. You come to a halt before you could come up with any answer. This, is my favourite room. The Packing Room! Bubblegum of every flavour, colour, smell is packed in this very room with the greatest of care and love. You walk through the door, and for the third time your eyes widen in amazement - this truley was the best room of all. Hundreds of faeries were singing along to the fairground music that was playing in the background, each hand wrapping different colours of bubblegum, from pink-black, every colour was being wrapped. Even more bubbles were being shot through from the ceilings, you smile as a blackberry flavour one hits your lips. Staring at the room, for what seemed like an eternity, you turn to talk to KB - but she's vanished.

THE SHOP;

You step out of the room, desperately trying to remember which way you came from. Taking the right you run through the corridor, this time ignoring the details of it, you suddenly stop as you come to an open doorway. You peek through, and see shelves and shelves of the bubblegum you had just seen being wrapped guest, guest! Over here! You notice KB in a corner of the room, happy to have found her you hurry over. Sorry to have left you, but I had just found out that our newest flavour had just been completed and I want you to be the first to try it! She hands over a brown and pink coloured pack of bubblegum. Gentley you unwrap it and take the peice of gum to your lips. It tasted declicious! Better then strawberry, better then raspberry, better then banana, better then apple - better then anything you've ever tasted! You look up to KB "What is it!? It's..it's amazing!" Her eyes sparkle with laughter, Now that my friend, would be telling! Now browse the shop, take anything you like - for you, it's free! KB was just about to walk off, when a small, sock-like creature appeared from a hole in the wall. KB bent down, gently picked it up and set it on her shoulder. This is Dolly, my pet - also known as the mascot of the factory. Well; we must go now guest, but hopefully we will meet again. Goodbye! With a flick of her tail, KB and Dolly disapeared.
Standing next to a shelve taller than yourself you begin to browse the numerous different flavours of bubblegum. Realising that the shelve you are looking at was full of packets with colours from different Neopets; obviously those who had visited before. You pick up the same packet that you had just tried, smiling you take it to the checkout, but on your way you notice a small handwritten sign.

You pass the old Aisha crouched behind the entrance desk, and the bubble sculptures. Opening the door you first walked through that morning, you take a last look at the Bubblegum Factory from outside, watching you from a window at the top of the building is KB with Dolly perched on her should. Waving; you continue your journey through Neopia.

11th March, 05 :) Hiya! The site is finally done, and I've had a couple of adoption requests! I didn't do too well in the 1st BC (14th I think :P) I entered again, but I forgot so I didn't advertise. It's going to be fun to see where I came this time!! Haha. Adoptions are still open, so keep the requests coming!
