Updates

25th February 2010: I'm sorry to say, shield requests are now closed until further notice. I have so much RL stuff to take care of (mostly work) that it's taking me too long to get round to shields. I may reopen sometime soon, but I may be closed as late as June when I'm on summer holiday and have time on my hands. Thanks.
18th February 2010: Been a while since I updated, but not much has been going on. Made my first transparent shield, so feel free to request the background as transparent and i'll try my best to make it so! 4th February 2010: Added banner (thanks spiritguardian(click on the banner to go to her site) and got listed at 'The Factory'. I also slightly tweaked the request form.
30th January 2010: Made and added some more shields to examples section. Ordered a banner which should be ready in a week. Changed one of the buttons to one created by me (go check it out!!!) Changed the background of the page. 25th January 2010: Added 'generic shield code' under the updates part of the 'Welcome' section.
23rd January 2010: Finally back on my laptop, and I will be practicing animation over the coming week, if all goes well I will be adding an animation part to the request form! Also replaced my self made button with a requested one from Stargrazer, and am finally content with my buttons so I won't be requesting any more any time soon. I also chenged the button link backs so they are all now next to the button for the site that made them.
21st January 2010: Made some more shields, and added some to the examples section. Should be getting my laptop back tomorrow so I will be able to do more stuff with my shields (thanks GIMP!).
18th January 2010: 2 more shields made and added to examples section. Laptop still broken, but I'm now taking requests again. 1 new button added, made by yours truly!
17th January 2010: Banner added, 2 affiliates added, new button added, listed at 3 new sites and visit counter added.
16th January 2010: Layout revamped and listed at 2 more sites. My laptop is still broken.
15th January 2010: Unfortunately my laptop is broken, and my replacement doesn't have the necessary programs I use for me to make shields, so until further notice, I will not be making shields, but you may still request them.
1st January 2010: Site officially launched!

Generic Shield Code
Just after the generic shield code that allows you to put a shield on your userlookup? Simply copy and pase the contents of the following textbox into your 'About Me' box under 'Edit Profile', and replace shieldurl with the url of your shield. No credit required.

Rules

As you may expect, I have a few rules regarding requesting a shield.
Neopian Times editorial #248 reads:
Why is it against the rules to cover up your shield on your user lookup? I understand the sidebar and overhead bar, but why the shield? ~wowlooktwhatsgone
Covering your shield with an image that goes along with your UL theme is fine. What we don't want anyone doing is using another Neopets shield to deceive other players into thinking an account is older or younger than it really is. Your shield can say things like "forever" or "eleventy billion years and still going strong" or something that is obviously fictitious, but please do not place a 56 month shield over your 2 week shield to make your account look older, or vice versa.
In summary, you are not allowed to post a false account age, but you are allowed something obviously false.
Of course the Shield you request from me must still comply with all other rules and regulations outlined by TNT, other than that, I will take pretty much any request, whether it is neo related or not. Note - please make sure there is not a notice at the top of this page sating requests are closed BEFORE you send your request.
I also request that you put one of the link back buttons provided on your user lookup, so people know where you got your shield from. It is also acceptable to simply put "Shield designed by Adam's Shiny Shields, with a link to this page, if you'd rather not have a button, but credit MUST be there.
Finally, please remember I am taking my free time to help you, so if you are rude then I will refuse to make your shield.

Please do not take these images! These shields have been designed on request. If you would like a copy of any of these shields, then please neomail me and I can provide you with the coding.

Request Form

Please send me a neomail with the following information:
Your Name/Nickname
So I know what to call you by.
Shield colour
Please tell me what shield colour you would like used. I do not have every colour under the sun, so I will tell you if I cannot provide that colour and ask you to choose another. The default colour is yellow.
The image you want used
Either the link to it if it's on Neopets, otherwise an adequate description of it, and how I might find it on the World Wide Web.
Please try to keep all images below 80 pixels x 80 pixels otherwise I have to reduce it and it will lose some quality.
The text you want
Please keep it to only a few words. Names are allowed. Please also tell me what font you want used, otherwise I will use Times New Roman, and how big you want the font, otherwise I will simply use whatever font I can get to fit.
Please also tell me if you would like the font a certain colour, as well as if you would like it bold, in italics or underlined.
Background colour
The background colour comes as white as a standard. If you want it a different colour to match the background of your lookup please tell me.

This is a list of people currently waiting on Shields. As much as I would love to, I can't spend all day on Neopets, and may get requests, but not be able to fufill them immediatly. The first name on the list is the next person whose shield I will be making.

Pickup

Completed shields will go here.
You will see your username and a text box containing the appropriate coding. In order to put the shield up go here and put the coding in the 'About me' section (above any other coding you might have) and click 'Change Your Details'.
It is worth noting that I haven't tested these shields on different lookup styles, so they may not work on some lookups. If that is the case (which I hope it isn't) then I apologise.
