Welcome to the official website of the guild, We Have Time For Play. We were founded on February 9th, 2011 :)

We are a guild for site-makers of the Neopets community, therefore to join W.H.T.F.P., you must own a site on Neopets. If you are interested in joining us, have a read of our Rules and requirements; and if you meet them, head on over to the Application page to apply!

Guild Mission

To be the #1 hangout place for a tight-knit group of site owners to share experiences, questions, chat, talk about anything under the sun, and most of all, have fun and provide social support for each other.

About Us

We Have Time For Play is the third spin-off of a series of amazing guilds, the original guild being No Time For Play!

W.H.T.F.P is very community and member orientated; you'll find that everyone in our guild are friends. If you are interested in joining us, don't be afraid that you won't fit in! We love having new members join us and we warmly welcome anyone who is accepted into our guild.

New to the guild?

The first thing you should do is to head on over to the guild message board to say hi! Our guild members who are online at that time (note: We're ALWAYS online XD) will most definitely give you a warm welcome!

Within a couple of days, you will be sorted into your rank according to your site type. These ranks are in no particular order, of course! Our guild does not believe in hierachy; all members are equal, and being in council simply means extra commitments! Because of the extra commitments, you get an ultra cool rank name of your choice 8D

Our 5 member ranks are the Directory owners, Reviewers, Pixellers, Graphics makers and Site specialists.

Our council positions can shift as and when someone feels that he/she is unable to commit due to personal factors or otherwise. There is no pressure, and any competition for a council spot is friendly ^^

Rules

• All of Neopets' rules apply.
• Be active!
• Turn on guild mailers; reply to all guild mailers to acknowledge receipt.
• Be literate.
• Respect each and every member of the guild.
• You must be a site-maker.
• You must join on your main account.
• The mighty cone of shame will be given to anyone who kills the boards.
• If you in any way FAIL on the boards, you shall wear the Fail Costume!

Notes

Why must I be a site-maker?

Every member in our guild owns a site and our discussions are prevalently about sites. We feel that it would be unfair if people who do not host a site join and thus will feel excluded and left out.

Why must I join on my main-account?

We've had people in the past join our guild on their side accounts, and though they promised to be active through their sides, they were not. The truth is that you spend most of your time on your main, that's why it's called a main, right?

Application

If you think you fit all our criteria and is keen to join our little community, send in an application! There is no form to fill; we want you to be creative.

If you are unsure on what to write in your application, you can include these things:

• Introduce yourself.
• Provide a link to your site(s), tell us the site name, and its category. Perhaps talk about them too.
• Tell us abit about yourself; we'd also like a gist of your personality.
• Estimate how often you will be on.
• Send all applications to Sophia but address the application to the guild.

The Process

• All applications will be sent to Sophia.
• Sophia will then broadcast your application to all members in the guild.

If no one has any valid and strong objections, you will receive an invite!

Offplanet I'm probably to be found writing or reading. I live in the (rainy) UK so I'm NST+8 hours.

Current Activities

Though guild activities are not the priority of the guild (we just wanna chat on the boards and relax ^^), we still hold activities once in a while. These activities aim to bond the guild, or just simply to allow all members to have some fun together!

Anyone can send in suggestions or propositions to run activities and events. Feel free to discuss on the guild boards! Monky is the person in charge, she hosts guild activities :)

Blurb Alert!

Duration: Ongoing_ until completed by all members :)

Aim: To add some color and personalities to the guild webbie ^^

How it works: Make a 100x100 icon (or ask someone to make it) - it has to have your name in it. Send that, together with a short blurb about yourself to Sophia and she will add it to the website ^^

Past Activities

These are the past activities that we had, for your reference!

Random Fridays

Duration: Started in mid-April and lasted until August 2011

Aim: To have fun!

How it works: This was/is a guild-only secret :D It was our most enjoyed activity so far!

The Classroom

Duration: Started in May-June 2011

Aim: To share with each other the things we learn over the course of our day or what we learn at school through teaching classes and answering questions!

How it works: Guild members could neomail to submit lessons or questions regarding others' lessons, and in the process learn all about different subjects of Dance, History, Languages, Physics ...you name it! ^^

Secret Graphics Santa

Duration: April-May 2011

Aim: Show our appreciation for a fellow guildee!

How it works:

1. All guild members interested in participating signed up by neomailing Rika.
2. Once enough members expressed their interest, sign ups closed.
3. All participants were neomailed the name of another participant.
4. Guild members were to make a sort of graphic for the person they were allocated to.
5. The graphics were published once everyone were done with their own graphic :D Click HERE to see them!

Happiness game

Duration: March - April 2011

Aim: To capture happy memories and to spur each other on towards Optimism and Happiness ;)

How it works: Every weekend, guildees met on the guild boards and took turns to host that week's happiness game. Each round of happiness game consisted of 5 questions pertaining to happiness, and guild members would post their own answers, as well as discuss others' answers. It was a very memorable event ;)
