The moonlight shimmers through the trees as you walk through a forest. It doesn't take long before you realize you're helplessly lost. Great.
Taking a break you sit down next to a tree and look up at the moon. At this rate you'll be stuck here forever. A crackling sound suddenly emits from the darkness. You bolt upright looking for the source of the sound, but you can't see anything. Just then a ball of fire flies past you, a little too close for comfort.
What are you doing in my territory?" A voice breaks through the darkness.
You pause for a moment looking for the source. "I-I got lost." You manage to mutter.
I'm not believing that excuse again." The voice answers. A figure slowly starts to emerge from the nothingness. The closer the figure gets the more distinguishable it becomes and you slowly realise that it's a wocky. Though much larger than usual. This wocky stood about 3 feet, from the ground to shoulders, red marks his left front paw and a red spine and ribcage ran down his back.
You stand their speechless as the figure stops a couple meters away from you.
You should explain yourself better, human. Or I'll have to get rid of you myself." The wocky snarls.
I already told you, I'm lost." You reply finding the courage to speak.
I've heard that excuse before." The wocky replies. "and the first time I heard it..."he pauses. "nevermind, Just leave now!"
What happened the first time someone said that?" You ask without thinking.
What don't you understand about leave?" The wocky snaps back, a ring of fire surrounding him. "besides why would a human like you care about my life?"
I'm just curious." you reply, taking a couple steps back, avoiding the fire.
Nobody has ever cared about my life, and nobody ever will." The wocky replies, calming down slightly. "I have never told anybody my past, before. Why should I now?"
Like I told you before I'm curious and maybe I can help you." You reply calmly.
Very well." The Wocky replies. "But I assure you no one can help me, now."
You nod. "What's your name?"
Koffing, but I don't see why you'd care."
Smiling, you reply "My name is guest"
That's my history, the reason for who I am now. I suppose you now see why I detest humans so?" Koffing says coldly.
You look at the ground, thinking of what Koffing has told you. Unsure what to say. "What happened after?" You decide to ask.
Can't you just be satisfied with what I have told you already?" Koffing says slightly annoyed.
I just want to know what happened to Prsephanie and what happened at the blacksmith." You reply.
Very well, here's what happened after what I've already told you. But pay attention closely because I'm not telling you again. Koffing replies then starts:

As Koffing finishes his story something, seeming to be on fire and quicker than your eyes can follow lands on Koffing's head and attempts to hide itself in his hair.
Erm, what's that?" You ask pointing at his head.
Koffing raises one eyebrow and looks at you for a moment. "My head?"
No, something just landed on your head." You reply frusterated.
It's probably just Skab." Koffing answers. "Best to ignore him."
But what is he?" You ask still staring at the thing on Koffing's head. Obviously to big to hide in his hair but was acting like you couldn't see it.
He's a Scarabug." Koffing says. "Not really sure where he came from but he won't leave me alone, so I just let him tag along where ever I go. He's really quite strange though, just glares and everyone. But whatever, like I said it's best just to ignore him."
I see..." You start shifting your gaze from Skab to Koffing. "So tell me more about your self then."
Koffing half closed his eyes into a glare that matched Skab's glare exactly. "I'll never understand you humans. I just told you my whole past. What more do you want?!"
