Random Event Help from the R.E. King!!! He lives life randomly. Shouldn't you?

REMEMBER THIS: NEVER REFRESH A PAGE JUST TO GET AN R.E. OR USE ANY TYPE OF REFRESHING PROGRAM! THIS IS AGAINST THE RULES OF THIS SITE. ALSO THE KING IS TOTALLY AGAINST THESE METHODS. NOW HOW RANDOM DOES THAT MAKE EVENTS?

After a lovely discussion about refreshing at the Advent Calendar for a Christmas paint brush, we all know that your have a fairly good chance of getting one if you explore around the Terror Mountain area. So I think it is wrong to solely sit at the Advent Calendar and do nothing but hit F5 waiting for a paint brush to fall into your lap. I don't care about being wrong; I'd just rather be more informed on this topic. Please elaborate and clear this up. ~krystalsalerno

We could have sworn that somewhere in another Editorial we said that refreshing solely for the purpose of gaining wealth through Random Events was a no-no. Also, to make sure people don't get the wrong impression, refreshing in Terror Mountain will not shower you with Christmas paint brushes. It's a fairly rare Random Event.

*TNT says this will not effect the amount of R.E.s that you get. I just put these here, because I beleive in KARMA...don't you? You are helping others and the kindness will always come back to you, somehow.*

1. The first thing I do when I get on for the day is donate a few cheap 1 NP items using the quick stock method...it's just faster that way.

2. Donating some NP to the Tombola Man if he is asking for donations. I give him 130 NP each time that I see him asking. Again this is only for KARMA.

3. During my day, I donate any booby prize items from games, like a toy sail boat or tchea fruit. I'll usually get rid of them right away.

To keep BAD R.E.'S away as much as possible:

A. Do not keep any items in your inventory if you can help it...unless they are in trades, those items won't effect R.E.'s at all.

B. Keep small amounts of NP on you at all times...unless you are shopping. I keep around 1,000 NP on me at any given time. The rest goes straight into the bank. After all, that's what the bank is for, right? But there are some R.E.s that will make you show a NEGATIVE NP amount if you have NO NP on hand, like the Bug Brothers and the Money Tree Ghosts. Do not worry. It happens from time to time.

C. Play with your pet.This will keep them happy and avoid them turning BLUE, RED or INVISIBLE in an event.

D. To keep your prized painted pet:Do not keep them as your active pet. This will prevent that EVIL BOOCHIE from turning them into a baby.

E. There is now an item that you may want to keep in your inventory, to stop the Pant Devil from stealing something prescious to you. The Pant Devil Attractor. It DOES NOT make him show up! It just draws his attention to it, when and if he shows up to steal from you. It does not always work, but people have been testing it by having more than 1 in their inventory and those that had 5 or more at one time, had the Attractor taken 100% of the time. So if you are trying for the ITTPD avatar or attaching a petpetpet, this just could help you out ALOT by stopping him from taking the item you are using!

Play non-flash games, like the following, until you get an event from each, then move on to the next. It may take a while. Keep this in mind:

1. SAKHMET SOLITAIRE

2. PYRAMIDS

3. NEGGSWEEPER

4. CLIFFHANGER

5. NEOQUEST

6. NEOQUEST 2

7. BILGE DICE

Check in each of these following areas. They seem to have better chances of giving you an R.E. when you visit them, for some reason, so visit them very often:

1. MESSAGE BOARDS: Post in an active board or create a new topic. Only refresh to see if any new post are there. Then just continue posting (NO SPAMMING!!) until you get an event.

2. ADVENT CALENDAR: Make sure your inventory is EMPTY, when you are ANYWHERE on Terror Mountain, to avoid having the ICE DEVIL steal any items! Again...do not stay there refreshing. Just stop by once in a while.

3. WHEEL OF MEDIOCRITY: Usually found on the first page, but make sure you have absolutely NO NP on hand, to avoid having the FUNGUS BALL event take any away!

PREMIUM USERS:

If you want to get your Once A Day Web Mail Event, you need to either visit and use the links on your portal page ALOT in one day or just try to keep looking up items on the Super Shop Wizard. (If you launch the Sniperspace feature, this may not have the same effect. Still researching this.) Have the Webmail open below it, so when you click on Try Again, you can see if you got your event.

If you have earned a SPACE FAERIE CHARM for your trophy case, you will start to notice a new event. This event will Randomly double your np for a FLASH game that you played, when you sent the score.(ONLY ONCE A DAY) So if you got 1000 NP from the game, you might just get the event and have it doubled to 2000 NP. And yes, if that game was a featured game and you got the 2000, it will double that to 4000. Now how cool is that? VERY!!!
