Tonglen is a wise and gentle Green Nimmo who grew up on a farm in Shenkuu. He spends his days tending his garden, taking walks through the fields around his cottage and sipping tea with friends. By the time he was old enough to leave his childhood home, he began to explore all of Neopia. Though he has seen the sun rise and set in every land, his heart will always belong to the mountains and forests of Skenkuu.

Gwenhywfar was once Queen of camelot, and appears to be very cold and shut down on the outside. She harbors a fear of wide open spaces and stays close to her home. She may seem proud and queenly , but she is truly wounded and unhappy behind the glamour she weaves. Though she would never call it such a thing, as she is deeply against Magic and the Old Ways.

Morgaine comes from a lost and misty isle off the coast of Brightvale. She is trained in the ways of myth and magic, and knows great knowledge of the past. She is conflicted and seldom follows her own advice. Morgaine can often be found at the Brightvale castle library bent over books of lore.

Musig is from a time and place that no longer exists. As a child she lived in a large neovian mansion, and was tended by many nursemaids. She seldom saw her parents. In her teens she loved to deck out in jazzy attire and attend all of the most lavish parties. She starred in many theatrical productions, though was quickly disenchanted with the audience members and her fellow actors. The year was 1922 when she fell asleep, and current day when she awoke. Before her eyes, drenched in morning light, stood a decrepit house and a changed world.

Kevkor is a michevious Korbat with a short attention span and a love of Meepits. Kevkor enjoys going on evening walks, and noticing small details on his level. He is fascinated by bugs, mushrooms and oddly shaped rocks. He is simple in many ways, but can ask the most interesting questions

Lumantie is a stubborn and accident prone ten year old. She is an observer at heart, and has a very good imagination that she never plans on letting go of. According to Lu, she never wants to grow up if growing up means never having adventures anymore. In many ways Lu is mature for her age, and she would much rather read a good book than spend time with most kids her age.

Caupo ."The jack of all trades Innkeeper" Caupo is often over loaded with work. He manages his inn almost single handedly. Some days he cleans out the stables, some days he counts the inventory, and sometimes he just has to lie down for ten minutes! Caupo is a close friend of King Gregory of Wrenwood, though he may seem but a scatterbrained Innkeeper, there is more to him.
note; Caupo is a character in a story I am currently working on for the NT.

Josh along with Kev, was one of my first pets. He is and always has been an Explorer. He goes on many expeditions across the lands, bringing his dry humor and love of tea along with him. He's a bit, well, gullible at times and being over trusting is just in his nature. Though he manages to get himself in a pickle, he always escapes somehow unscathed and none the wiser for it!

Celduin named for the river in Lord of the Rings that runs from Erebor to the sea of Rhun. Celduin river is also know as the River Running to men. Celduin is the spirit of the River. She has seen many things through her life span, the first dawn, the Beginning Days and the glowing lamps. She is not bitter from her age, and her laugh sounds like trickling water. She is very elusive, and has shown her face rarely over the years.

Fulgeo King Midas' Daughter, turned to gold. Fulgeo, meaning to shine or beam in latin, is a sad character indeed. Vines have began to grow around her, all of her friends are long gone and she cannot speak or move. Yet she goes on. She stands in a deserted courtyard, thinking quiet thoughts to herself and hoping for a cure.

Chodak the Sherpa. Chodak abides in the rocky mountain range that borders Shenkuu. He makes his yearly journey to the salt lake where he and his people gather salt to sell to the merchants of Shenkuu. Chodak is a very good friend of Tonglen's.

Rajhans is the palace cook for King Jazan and Queen Nabile of Qasala. She knows of every spice and herb in the lands, and is the very best at what she does. Rajhans is kind and loving to all she encounters, though she holds a deep sorrow and longing for her distant homeland and her lost family. She is all embracing and keeps no secrets, except for one. An Oasis she steals away to, a quiet and sacred place where she grows the finest and most rare herbs. There is one catch, this place belongs to another. Rajans means "swan".

Cowdenknowes is named from on of my favorite Scottish ballads that dates back to the seventeenth century. His name is that of place in Berwickshire Scotland, where the scotch Broom flowers grow. Cowden, as we call him, is a herder who lives in Meridell there he tends to his flocks in the highlands.
