Picture snatchers beware!!! In case you didn't know, my site is dedicated to the destruction of picture stealers! Art thieves deserve to be pecked on the head untill they fall over. I will get into that more later. For now, let's talk about me! Oh, just so you know, there are a lot of people trying to copy me and my page against picture stealers, but just know that mine was the very first;) My page was started around the date of November 2001, so welcome to the original pic stealer's nightmare! This is a cool pic of me that my master drew a long time ago!
This is a picture of me and one of my old friends. She quit talking to me, so I won't mention any names. I do like the pictures of us together, though. I suppose I'll leave them up just for fun. We used to get into all kind of trouble together, and have lots of fun, but I guess those days are over. Take care my old friend... and I better not catch you stealing any art!! You may very well be one of my old friends, but I will still nail you for it.
Now you may think we pteris are boring, but that's not true at all! We just wanna have lots of fun, and me... well I like to cause mischief, of course! Was there ever any doubt? ;)

Now this is more like it!! I bet all you Dragonball z fans can guess who I'm dressed as! Yup, Android 18! Now she rules! Blowing everything up for the fun of it. What a role model! That's just who I wanna be like. Oh yeah!! This pic won me FIRST PLACE and a codestone in the leading ladies section in my master's old guild before she created her own;) It was made when I was still a red pteri. I was painted with clouds on Tuesday, Oct 9, 2001 @ 10:45pm!! Before we get to the fun part, here's a word from my master... No one likes to be copied in any way, shape, or form. It is an artist's nature to be original and different. When someone sees a beautiful picture, they are most likely going to either copy the pose or the entire picture. Why can't they just admire it? It serves absolutly no purpose, and no one gains anything from it. The artist's pride is in the picture, and no one can take that away. There is no pride gained by stealing it, and claiming the credit. People that copy other's ideas can never be called artists. They are lacking creativity and imagination; the key ingredients for bringing art to life. Although copying someone is a way to show that you really admire them or their style, it's actually very irritating. The person you admire would much rather see you be creative in your own way instead of seeing you copy them all the time. It just goes back to the old saying "If everyone in the world were exactly alike, the world would be a very boring place. About Pic Stealers
Now for the real reason I wanted my master to make me a page. Picture stealers!! Picture stealers ruin the fun of making a picture for everyone. Especially when they alter it, and slap their username on it. My master catches many people using her pictures in the beauty contest every week. What is their problem anyway?? Then she has to go and report them which takes FOREVER, and the picture gets kicked out of the contest anyway. Whats the point? No one knows. She hates the beauty contest because of this. Direct quote from her... I don't think artists should compete with each other. How can you judge and compare all the different styles? She does put pictures of my siblings and me in the beauty contest sometimes, but only if one of us begs her for a trophy. Atleast they finally disabled the right-click command that allows people to steal pictures from the contest. Now I'm sure you'll be seeing us in the beauty contest sooner or later;) My master has atleast 40 neofriends that like to draw as well. They too get their pictures altered and stolen for contests and personal use. She says it's just because people want something for nothing. Especially if they can't draw a straight line. I mean, picture this... someone just drew an awesome picture of their neopet of which they are very proud. Then, some annoying person comes along and takes it without feeling the least bit guilty. I mean, what is going on here!? Oh, and for those of you out there who dare to disagree with me, just check out this site! I was reading ur pet pteri's awesome page,and when i came to the part about scammers,I realized OMG on my other account I talked to someone who said they had their account scammed,and I gave them a map piece,3 neomails later never heard from them again!0.0 i was shocked to learn I had been scammed!Thank you so much for showing me that this is a scam! Hi there, I've admired all your artwork and pages for a long time especially kazoookies page, art stealers should be eaten! I have seen many people using your art but none to report now, I have never seen anyone steal my art though i think one day the time might come, anyway I feel very strong about kazookie's page so great job, the page really captured my heart! _Please_ tell Kazoookie that she rocks!!!:D I've visited her site SO many times; I've memorised the song on the page, and now I don't count sheep to sleep; I cound bombs flying onto picture stealers. :o Hehe! Anways; thanks for being one of my inspirations! I love your art; but not enough to steal it, that would be just like...Killing it. That'd be....BAD!! 0_0 BTW; I just noticed the riped off shoy' has no horn..!!LOL! The Rip-Offs Now for the most fun part... THE RIP-OFFS!!! Neomail my master, and tell her about any pictures you see of hers being used without her permisson. I'm sure she would be eternaly grateful;) If you see your ripped off pic up here, the only way you can get it off is to neomail my master, tell her how sorry you are, how horrible it was of you to take her beautiful picture, and beg for mercy!! Well... maybe not exactly like that... *Kazoookie feels the glaring eyes of Dragonflares on her back* Any rip-offs we find will be on the site for atleast the duration of the beauty contest it was used in. Well whatever, on to the pics! Double Takes The same thing happened with that lupe picture that looks like it was punched in the eye. My master neomailed the first person who stole it and told them never to do it again. Then, a couple months later, the same picture is in the beauty contest again. When my master neomails the owner of the pet, it was the first person's sister! She said she thought my master wouldn't mind if she used it again, and that she supposedly gave her permission the last time they talked. My master said the exact opposite though! What a messed up kid. Kinda confusing, but very pathetic. This was just really lame... the person that stole the picture of me and VidelsShadow took 2 others for the same beauty contest! How dense can you get?? That's like saying, "freeze my account, and hurry up!" My master reported all 4 of the pictures,(the other 2 pics were of a scorchio and Dragon949) and the kid got their account frozen right away. Well, that's just one less pic stealer lowering the intelligence level of neopets. Current Major Pic Stealers Kellybear062: This is one bratty kid. She harassed stereo_spirit first by naming her pet after stereo's old name, then threw some kind of tantrum because stereo_spirit's pet wouldn't date hers. She stole stereo's pictures and claimed them as her own, swearing that stereo stole them from her. If that wasn't bad enough, when I told her to quit annoying stereo, she turned on me and started stealing my pics! She copied Growlley's entire page, and his lookup. UPDATE: I reported Kellybear, and all the text/stolen pictures on her lookup, her pet's lookup, and pet's page have been erased! Good ol' Felicia came through. Thanks a million! Conversations This is what happened when my master's friend neomailed the person that stole the picture of the white aisha and turned it pink, they responded quite rudely and with the worst attempt at trying to save their skin! Well, I'll let you see what happened Here's what my master's friend wrote to them... "Hi!! I saw your aisha in the beauty contest and you stole that picture from my white aisha, Asukima. My friend lydia (dragonflares) also drew that for me. I'm going to tell her and have you kicked off of neopets. Thats very rude to steal pictures that aren't yours. I just wanted to tell you that, so if I were you I wouldn't do it again. Hehe now this conversation is hilarious! Some annoying kid wrote this to my master, and this is what she countered with. I think this kid must suffer from a permanent wedgie or something. Hehe I must say, I could not have done a better job! Anyway, here's the conversation. Enjoy!

Well here's another rude conversation. I told a picture stealer not to take anymore pictures, and this is how they responded! I'll start with what I said to them... Why did you steal and alter my picture of Kouza_5 for the beauty contest?? Everyone knows I drew it, so no one is going to vote for you. You should never EVER steal someone's drawing that they have worked hard on. Not only is it childish and disrespectful, it's STEALING. Never steal someones picture again! I'll be watching you..."
Now heres what the "child" responded with Kazoookies random input: Too bad stealing other people's great pictures doesn't count as drawing them yourself! Child... This wasn't a rude conversation with a pic stealer, but it was a very rude response from someone who used to be in my guild. I thought it deserved a spot on kazoookie's page;) People who wish to join Rhonno's Den can take a one week trial in my guild where they must be active without spamming the board. This person named rurubell asked if she could take the trial. I said that was fine, and monitored her posting. She posted twice in the week period, and both times were spam. When she neomailed me back to ask if she could get in, I told her this... Common Excuses The first, and by far most popular excuse that pic stealers use is My brother/sister/friend drew it. I didn't know it was stolen, so it's their fault! 70% of pic stealers try to pull this, and it's, most likely, not true. Many times when I catch my pictures being stolen in the beauty contest, it says something like My owner spent forever on my piccie, I'll love you forever if you vote! So if they said that they drew it in the beauty contest, then they would be lying about their friend drawing it wouldn't they? Keep in mind that most pic stealers will make up all sorts of lies to keep themselves from being blamed, and getting in trouble. Best thing to do is just let them think that you believe them, and report them. The second most popular excuse is It's not stealing the picture if I just take part of it. Well that is definetly not true. This lame excuse is used by pic stealers who know exactly what they did wrong and are trying to reassure themselves that it wasn't as bad as you say it was. They usually end up apologizing and cowering beneath your feet when you remind them about the rules of copyright. Let that be your weapon against snivellors such as these. I have been getting this excuse more and more... I found the picture on google... I didn't know I couldn't use it! This excuse is very pointless. What does finding a picture on google have to do with stealing art? The rules for the beauty contest say that you have to draw the pictures you enter yourself! If you found it on google, does that make it yours?? NO! Using any picture you didn't draw in the beauty contest is cheating unless you get the original artist's permission. Another popular excuse to shift the blame is Someone gave me this picture and I didn't know it was stolen. This also sorta falls under the first category, but some people come up with some pretty wild tales. This one could go either way I guess. Don't always believe what you hear. This is probably one of the most pathetic attempts to shift the blame. Some people will try to defend themselves by saying I've had this pic on my computer for (x ammount of years), so how could I possibly have stolen it from you? Someone tried to pull this one on an aisha picture saying they had it saved on their computer for 2 years, but aishas didn't even look like that 2 years ago. Unless the kid is psychic, that's a huge lie. I've only gotten this excuse once, but chances are it's not legit. Someone tried to cover up their picture theft by saying I just adopted the pet out of the pound, and the pic was on his lookup/page. If a person went to all the trouble of stealing a picture, uploading it to a server that allows direct linking, and putting in on their pet's page or lookup, then why would they turn around and abandon it? Very suspicious... A couple people have tried to use this one. It's pretty bad, so don't be fooled. I saw so and so draw the picture, so how could they have stolen it? This is most likely from one of the stealer's other accounts. If there is solid proof that a picture is stolen, how could what this person says possibly be true? They are trying to make you wonder about it and drop the issue. Just remember that the proof is all you need to accuse someone. Protect Your Art As we all know, or should by now, neopets has a huge problem with picture stealers. There are, however, lots of ways you can protect your artwork from nasty pic stealers. Keep in mind that you can never completely protect your art if you put it anywhere on the internet. Don't be afraid to put up your pictures though. Sign your neopet's username really large at the bottom, and put the name of the pet at the top. It also helps to resize the picture a little bit to smudge the colors together, and make it harder to erase your name. Try signing your name over the bottom part of the pet instead of in the background too. Also watch out for people copying your style. It is vital to develop your own unique style so it is easier to tell your art apart from someone elses. This also prevents people from accusing you of copying them. It is rather annoying when people copy an artist's style, but it does happen rather frequently. Oh well, atleast the original artist is the one with imagination. It takes nothing at all to copy someone. Just mainly proves they can't think of their own unique way to express themself. How boring... One more important thing that all picture drawers really need to watch out for. It's a sad but true fact that I have known for a long time. If word about your art spreads around the site, people will try to befriend you because they think they will get free pictures/fame off you. You should never take someone like that seriously. In fact, don't take anyone seriously unless they can go a whole week without asking for a picture, or asking if their pets can be friends with,or date yours. It has been my experience that not very many people can seem to do that. It's just best not to take anyone seriously if they constantly ask you to draw for them. It pretty much means that all they care about is your pictures. You will notice that your real neofriends never ask you for pictures. Current Scams?? Dear dragonflares (or whatever your username is),

Kazoookies random input: How could they possibly know a thing like that?? Kazoookies random input:Get you happy again??' What is that supposed to mean? Kazoookies random input: YEAH! Let me see you cry ya hacker! Kazoookies random input: Is that supposed to be their name?! This is a huge lie. They are just trying to get neopoints from people they believe to be "rich". Don't waste neopoints on these people, because it is clear that they are just trying to get something for nothing! Anyone who claims to be poor, and asks you for neopoints is probably already getting rich off other people's simpathies. You know the worst part about scammers on neopets... they are really pathetic! These weirdos will actually scam someone out of their account just to get stuff that is only useable on the neopet's site!!! Someone would really have to be completly obsessed and borderline insane to have the urge to do that. There are some really sick people out there... Kazoookies random input:Take the rod, beat the child, thats my motto!!!" (It may be from Matilda, but I love that quote!!!) People have also been sending around e-mail scams asking for all your login information claiming to be part of The Neopet's Team. You may think that because they know your e-mail adress that it's true, but it's not. Remember that you may have put your e-mail adress on one of your pet's pages, or your user lookup. Remember that neopets will NEVER ask for your information like that. Why would they need it when they have it saved on their systems, and can look it up whenever they want? Don't fall for that scam!! This is a message for all you sick scammers out there on neopets. If you feel that the only way you can make neopoints is to scam someone out of them, then go ahead. You will be frozen in time, and you won't get to spend them. However, does it not make sense to atleast leave the people's pets on the account. So many scammers abandon the owner's pets, and they never get them back. What is the point?? That's like robbing a bank, and then shooting everyone in the bank even after you have stolen the money and gotten what you were after. You have already cheated, ripped someone off, destroyed their hard work, and gotten what you so selfishly desired, so what posseses you to abandon the pets?? You are all morons and should not even be on a site meant for children. Take your sick issues elsewhere. The Beggar/Donate To Me Scam (A Must Read!) This may come as a surprise to some of you, but did you know that people who ask you for donations are a type of scammer? That's right! Ask yourself this question... "How did I make my neopoints?" Was it from donations from other people? Most likely not. Chances are, you worked hard for your points and items. Why would you donate points and items to someone else who could easily make their own playing games, or winning one of the many contests on neopets like you did? There are hundreds of ways to make neopoints, so if someone asks you to donate items/points to them, it is because they are too lazy to make their own. IE SCAM! (Important) AOL/AIM Scam Ideas For Art Protection and F.Y.I. F.Y.I. Did you know that about 40% of the pictures in the beauty contest are stolen? Many are from old art gallery submissions. A few more are from recent pets who won the beauty contest. Check the lupe section. There will be rip-offs from the movie Balto, and wolf fan art sites. Now check the kougra section. Don't a lot of those pictures look like they are from The Lion King, or Pokemon? Lastly, check the uni section. Ever see the movie The Last Unicorn? There's always atleast one stolen picture from that movie. Have you ever noticed that some of the same pictures are submitted every week by different people? Maybe they changed something, like the color, or maybe they added wings. It's hard to tell which people are the real artists because of this. It's best just not to vote for a picture like that... F.Y.I. Did you know that some people will steal your art in order to get you to notice them? Seems rediculous right? Well, it's not entirely un-heard of. People have taken my art, and then when I neomail them, they appologize a hundred times, and at the end of the neomail will be a nice little "will you be my neofriend anyway?" It seems too pathetic to be true, but it's best to ignore people that have stolen your pictures. Unless you believe they are truley sorry, that is. UPDATE: Neopets has finally done it! Not only did they put a report button on the pictures in the Beauty Contest, but they also freeze people for stealing art!! *Squeals* Bottom Line: DO NOT steal someone's picture to get their attention. This plan will completely backfire. I lose all trust in someone who has ever stolen any of my, or my friend's pictures. I never feel the same way about them, and I could never give them my full trust. Now this is great!!!! My master finally drew a picture of me that truley defines my destructive nature! I get to shoot every picture stealer in sight, and make them disintegrate. It is so awesome!! That's what I do to everyone who copies my master's, or one of her friend's pictures. They all DIE!!!

Here's a great picture done by Korrok! I just love shooting bombs at picture stealers! Then, all I have to do is hold out my wing and the picture falls right into it. Too bad the pic stealers never live to see that part!

Ok, tell me I'm seeing things... the tree is unimportant, but check out that kougra. Does it not share a striking resemblance to the one drawn by my master?? This person really should re-think their strategy. Just shrinking a rip-off isn't going to keep the original artist from spotting it a mile away.
Here's rip-off #2 of this picture! What a brilliant idea this person had. Hmmm.... I think I'll just turn everything white and no one will notice. WRONG! My master has spies everywhere!! Someone she doesn't even know that well informed her of this stolen picture. Check out the ear! You can still see the original color! Oh, and what's with the spray paint over the first part of my master's name? Oh well, enough about this pic. Moving on...
Ummm... *starts to laugh* CAN-SOMEONE-PASS-THE-DRAGONFLY??? This copier forgot the key ingredient that makes this picture so precious! They need to work on their... un-shakeyness as well. Looks like they were freezing when they re-drew this pic!
Now you know, that's funny... I could have sworn my master drew this pic, but it appears that this person thinks they drew it. Something is messed up in this kid's head if they think they can draw like that. Adding a bow tie?? How original. I do believe my brother has more style than to wear a poorly drawn bow like that! Some artist this kid is;) My master's best friend's brother said it looked like some kind of growth sticking out of his neck... *snickers*
This rip-off truly freaks me out! Loco_lobo3 turned my master's cute and cuddly white lupe pic into...erm... something else!! Amazing how it is all smeary where my masters name used to be. I have also heard word that this person has stolen other pictures as well. THIS JUST IN! Loco_lobo3 has been frozen!!! Truley a glorious day for my master and everyone else he/she has taken pictures from;)
Well now, this is pretty bad! When this pic stealer changed this pic, they completely messed it up! I mean really, when they changed the colors, they didn't even add shading! What a poor rip-off. This pic is pretty sad. My advice to the owner is, don't even steal pictures cause you can't even re-do them right! Never did I think there was a wrong way to re-do pics, but this kid has discovered it! 
Wow does this pic ever look HORRIBLE in red! My master really did a great job on it, but this person seemed to have a bit of trouble. They needed to pay closer attention when erasing the name. I mean COME ON! You can still see where my master's name used to be! How very pathetic. Grrr the things my master puts up with. If I had my way, I would REPORT THEM ALL!! YEAH!!! DIE!!!!
Yet another 2 horrible copies of one of my master's pictures. The same pathetic pic stealer did both of those. Here's their little quote from the beauty contest..."I'm fluffy, not only cute. This might look smimler to others, but my owner made it! (=^^=)" Sure her owner made it! After she stole it and re-colored it! Oh that definetly makes it hers. *rolls eyes* Truley a disgrace to themselves for lying like that. I can't stand liars!!! GRRRR!! Oh well, not that anyone saw those pictures in the beauty contest anyway. They both only had 7 votes. Most likely votes from all of the pic stealer's different accounts. It's also amazing that most of these recolored rip-offs are by kids that don't have permission to play the site.
Now this one isn't as obvious as some, but my master still didn't miss it! The heads of these wockies are very similar. The one on the right was drawn by pupix, and has a striking resemblance Growlley's head. The hair is the same, they used 3 colors in the ears and the fire goes the same way as well. Definetly a look-off pic. This person has also had both their accounts frozen;) They got another account and admitted to stealing the picture also... go fig.
This one really got to my master. I've never seen her so angry in my life! She really wants to get this kid kicked off neopets for good for what they did. I mean look at this thing! My master gave that picture to the pets in it as a Christmas present in 2001, and this kid came along and messed it up! It wasn't even on the site for like 5 minutes, but obviously that was long enough for it to be stolen!! Yet another kid too young to play the site too. I say that kids without parental permission should not be allowed to enter the beauty contest. Oh, and I know some of you out there would like to know their name. The pet that stole it for the beauty contest is named Starry4000_none. They must be stopped!!!

Oh please spare me, this person took one of the wockies from the Team United picture, changed the colors, and messed up the eyes!! That still doesn't make it yours cbman159. Blaming it on your friend and telling my master that he's the one who should be frozen doesn't help either. That's one of the top excuses used by pic stealers. You're the one who put this in the description of the picture in the beauty contest... "This took 4 hours to draw. My owner did each outlining dot. She got the idea from a pet page. This is not there's it was hand made." If it was hand made, then how come it fits right over the other picture??
Oh geez, tell me this isn't obvious. The top, bottom, and sides of the picture have been cut off to hide the words on the pic. Poor Dragon949. First, he almost gets his tail cut off by that shadowed shoyru he was fighting, and then a pic snatcher comes along and cuts of his feet!! I kinda even feel bad for the shadowed shoyru that has part of his head chopped off. What a horrible thing to do to my master's pic. Thanks a freaking ton summerzgurli. It looks like someone took my master's picture, let a 4-year-old scribble an outline, and then threw a bucket of yellow paint on it. This isn't the first time prayme_love has used this picture in the beauty contest either. She didn't heed my master's warnings the first time, and decided to use it again. Well, now the picture has a permanent place on my page! Chibiilove's owner has also been frozen!

Ok, this is just lame. The colors are aweful! You can even tell where they tried to etch out my master's name across the hooves. It is all messed up and bumpy. Everyone who tries to re-draw the places where my master's name used to be always messes it up! I find it quite amusing actually.
