Every star in the sky is a soul of a living being; when something is born, the star burns out, and when it dies, its soul will take its place back in the sky once again. It is a simple cycle, the circle of life, yet it is the most powerful thing to have above all else.

Life is a precious thing, fragile and easy to lose. It holds the key to unlock all of the doors of the universe, and it lives in a delicate, but perfect, balance with nature.

Life is something natural to us, like breathing and blinking. It is the purest and most sincere of all things, and it makes up us humans, as well as the plants and animals that share the world with us.

However, it isn't limited to just that - life exists in the stuffed animals and toys we had as children, and the imaginary friends we had growing up. It also thrives within the characters of the books we read and the stories we make up.

Life is, in a sense, everywhere, but we have no way of understanding it as we are now.

There are only a few beings who have lived long enough to understand the true nature of life and how it works: the grim reapers and the star kindlers. Both are angels, one of death and one of life, and without one, the other wouldn't exist.
