You're browsing neopets. Cyberspace whizzes past you, and the computer light is in your face, hopefully not blindingly bright. You're browsing whatever it is you want to be browsing. When, all of the sudden and out of the blue, WHAM! You run into a page. Not your average page, mind you. The page you'd stumbled upon was none other than Sara's application for the yellow draik, Lenjeu. And she would like to offer you a warm welcome, a cup of coffee, tea, hot cocoa, or whatever it is you like, and invites you to sit down and stay a while. Come on, why not? Hopefully it's not too long and won't bore your socks off. Hopefully.
 Sara. My name is Sara. I am fourteen years old. I live in California, and currently attend Jr. High and am in the 8th grade. Contrary to popular belief, I'd just like to inform you that if you did not know already, the beaches in Southern California are neither sunny nor warm unless you are an extremely lucky person. That's just a warning in case you ever plan a vacation there and intend to visit the beaches. But before I become too sidetracked, I'd like to take us back to the subject at hand. Me, because I'd like a little place to rant about how lovely I think I am. Just kidding. I'd like to think of myself as a good student, but then again, who doesn't? I have very little life; I spend a lot of time on the computer. I'm an artist, self-proclaimed genius, writer, actress, and horrible singer. I'm also completely insane, or almost. In short, I'm a very unique person…Just like everyone else. I like to draw, look at pretty art, read manga, talk about crazy stuff with my equally nutty friends, read, roleplay, and have full-on wars with layouts. Don't believe me? Well then, have you ever tried coding a full layout that works on all resolutions? It's hard. Either that or they just hate my guts. I'm just lucky in that way.
Now we come to the subject of me on neopets. I have been on neopets for over 4 years, which is a long time. Admittedly, I don't partake in many of the common neopian activities in recent times. I have in the past participated in many plots, played games, collected avatars, chatted on the boards, roleplayed, and joined guilds. I don't and never have RSed though, it bores me. Lately, my neopian hobbies include chatting on my guild. I love Choji, it's awesome, and I love the people on it-they're awesome, too. I also like to make petpages. There are few things that give me greater satisfaction than seeing people link the pages I slaved over for hours. I will roleplay, although my favorite neopian roleplays are with draconic neopets. I am addicted to dragons. I love everything about dragons. Need I say any more? And I do not just say this because Lenjeu is a draik. Take a look around at my art; ask people I know…I'm a fantasy/dragon fanatic and proud of it. However, once more I am afraid that I am getting sidetracked, and I hope that you are not too deeply disturbed by my incessant rambling…It's time to return once more to the subject at hand. As well as chatting on Choji, making petpages, and roleplaying, I still plan to enter the beauty contest again some time. I'm an accomplished BCer, and a determined one at that. To the point where if I don't get my trophy (which I almost always do), I'm a very unhappy camper. But it's difficult, requires time, patience, and determination by the bucket load-which I have. Or fame and followers-which I don't have. Please ignore the occasional people on the boards who, upon seeing me, will shout and point excitedly, saying, "OMG IT'S WILIA'S OWNER YOU'RE SO FAMOUS." They're clearly delusional, and you should pay no attention to them.
As far as who I am on neopets, we'll start with the fact that I've been around for, like I said, 4 years. I'm not afraid to admit that I've been scammed and also frozen once, but both incidents were over three years ago, and I am much wiser than I was when both incidents occurred. I'm definitely not falling for any lame, hair-brained scams directed towards newbies anytime soon. I'm your average law-abiding neopian, as far as I know. At least, I don't believe I'm in any danger of being frozen like I've noticed many neopians are after adopting the neopets they applied for. I actually have no idea what is up with that, but assure you that I have adopted several neopets, and that hasn't happened to me. Yes, I have adopted several neopets. I applied for and received Wilia and Ricarnel, although I painted Wilia after adopting her. I adopted Dandel when someone offered me her. I also adopted Eroa and Coliide unpainted from different people.
I have five accounts. Milikii is my main account, and where I plan to have Lenjeu, should I be chosen to adopt her. Yro is my second main account. Kiera163 is my oldest and lab account. Kojica is my former main and now side account. And finally, Alenkai is my side account.
I'm not going to say that I would like to adopt your marvelous yellow draik because she is a super-special and rare pet. Rareness I care not for. I'm a rabid fan of draiks-they're my favorite neopet, and I'm not lying about that. I don't like that they're rare. I actually detest the rising prices for draiks, and wish they were more common. I couldn't care if everyone and their brother had a draik, I'd still love them dearly. I'm a dragon lover, and have been for a long time, and that's what caused me to fall madly in love with draiks when I first lay eyes upon them on my first ever visit to neopets. None of the other draken neopets held the same charm over me as draiks. Shoyrus were cute, but intoxicatingly so in a way that was sugary enough to induce cavities. Skeiths were just plain ugly, and I hold the scorchios in similar regard. Krawks, I admit I do like. Not as much as draiks, but I do like them. I'm content with one krawk though, while I'm constantly coming up with ideas for draiks that I have not the money for. So, I suppose you could say that's why I want Lenjeu. I love draiks, and I love dragons. I think I could do so much with Lenjeu…Dragons are so versatile, and even though my design for Lenjeu would still resemble a draik, I don't think I could pull off her design with a sugar-coated shoyru. Either way, I favor draiks for my many and strange reasons, and Lenjeu is a beautiful example of a draik. And, as being yellow, there's a lot of options when it comes to her painting, although I've already made my choice-royal.
There are reasons why I think I should be chosen above the rest to be Lenjeu's new owner. But everyone (I should hope) has a reason or reasons why they're worthy of Lenjeu. I just hope that mine are convincing enough for you.
The first of many being of which I have no life. I haven't much homework, am not the kind to get grounded, and spend a lot of time online_ I have time to spend on Lenjeu. I've also been around neo for a while, and know the ropes. I'm of the thought that I'm not about to get frozen any time soon, which I stated previously. Another reason is that I am an artist. Now, I'd hate to brag, but I think I'm also a pretty good artist. I don't know whether you agree with me or not, but I think I'm also a pretty darn good draik artist as well. I know a lot of people who'd back me up on that statement, and I should hope that people superior to me in art can at least acknowledge that I have talent. I'm also a good writer, at least I've been told so. I'm a practiced roleplayer, and am in the top writing class of my school, in which I am led to believe I am one of the highest scorers as far as writing goes. Grade-wise, I'm not sure, as the class has a lax teacher, lots of extra time, and also has two of my closest friends in it, which I enjoy chatting with frequently. As I said earlier, I'm a practiced roleplayer, and roleplay frequently. Heck, it's my life. I love it, and I'm not lying about that. I'm always hungry for a good roleplay, which can occasionally be hard to find on neopets, but I'm a member of the Draik Clan and think that I can scrounge up a good roleplay or two for Jeu should I get her. Another reason why I should be chosen to adopt Lenjeu is that I'm a BCer. Admitably, I haven't entered the BC in a while, but as you'll notice, all my pets on my main account have at least one BC trophy, and I can't just let Jeu go without one. Oh no, that would not do at all. One of my final major reasons is that I'm a webmaster. Even as we practiced for 6th grade graduation, I was said to be the most likely in our graduating class to become a webmaster. And they're not just saying that for show. I'm good at layouts, coding, and making petpages. Another thing all the pets on my main account all have is a petpage. Once more, I can't let Lenjeu go without one. In fact, I've even included one for her as part of my application. But that's later on-just giving you a heads-up for now. Finally, you should choose me because I'm just awesome like that.
 I already brushed upon this subject briefly, but I'll happily ramble go more in depth with it. I have several plans regarding Lenjeu's future, and I think it'd be easiest to list 'em out and explain. That way you won't have to deal with more of my disorganized, rambling paragraphs that I hope you're not sick of by now. But if you are, here's a reprieve.
PS. Ignore the iPod picture. Just because Lenjeu wants one, I'm not going to get him one. Have you any idea how expensive those things are? And that's not in neopoints, either. I just hope he won't try and steal my nano instead because I won't buy him one if I get him. He can just borrow Dandel's CD player if he must.

- My real first plan for Lenjeu would, of course, be to paint her royal. I'm making good headway on my fund (I have over 1 million neopoints at the moment, as a result of a long time saving), and should be able to buy myself a royal paint brush soon. I'm sorry I don't have a preview readily available for your viewing pleasure, but I'm still saving. I assure you that I will purchase that paint brush, though, and will do it as soon as I have enough.
- My second plan for Lenjeu would be to change her into a he. Strange as it may sound, it's true. My means for doing so are simple. I'll simply pit her against the lab ray scientist, who I have as a challenger.
- Win him a trophy in the BC. There's a fairly good chance that Jeu'll get on goldban, so that may be all he gets for a while. I've already won my (currently) only draik, Wilia, a gold and silver trophy, as well as a number of other trophies for other pets. I'm perfectly confident that I'd be able to win for Jeu, and am determined to make that come true.
- A petpage for Jeu. I already have a preview of what it would be should I get her, which I urge you to go look at, especially as it is part of my application.
- Roleplay. Oh yes, I mentioned it before, and I intend to carry out that plan. Once more, I am on the Draik Clan, which, in case you didn't know, is a place where draik owners can come to interact and roleplay-and I intend to roleplay him there. Perhaps find him some friends, or enemies. I'm open for everything-I'm just psyched at the very idea of possibly being able to roleplay such a character as I've made Lenjeu out to be.
- Of course I plan to draw for Jeu. I already do. I'll probably be doodling him in the margins of my math notebook for a good while yet. You needn't worry about art, I've got it covered.
- I've got my eyes on a faellie for Lenjeu. Perhaps white…The subject is still under debate. I already have the faellie purchased, and should I decide on the white petpet paint brush, be able to afford that.
- Adoptables are my sworn enemy, but I've got a set that I hope will treat me better than some of my previous sets for Lenjeu's page. I need new draik adoptables, anyway. Wilia's set is getting old.

Lenjeu is a bit of a spazz, to state it nicely. Even before he was turned another gender, he freaked out easily, which was probably why he reacted so horribly when he awoke to discover himself no longer female. But then again, when faced with the same circumstance, who wouldn't completely freak out? But he's still not great at keeping a level head. Despite being drilled on etiquette since he was very young, Lenjeu still often trips over his tongue, even in the most calm and relaxed of situations, although Lenjeu is almost never calm. Perhaps he has ADD, perhaps not, the world may never know. One thing for certain is that this makes Lenjeu a horrible liar. This makes his predicament of trying to hide his masculinity all the worse. And he's all too aware of that.
On top of being a spazz, Lenjeu is also forgetful and curious. He's intelligent to some degree, although he doesn't let his... Eh... Less-than-genius intelligence slow him down on his quest for knowledge. And perhaps he searches for knowledge to prove himself, for before her untimely death, he was always known as Dejinn's shadow to the family. Despite his thirst for knowledge, Jeu isn't the best listener, and often gets distracted. He's disorganized, which makes him far from the best student. Basically, he's not dim, he just doesn't pay attention.
One may say that Lenjeu is slightly paranoid. He's jumpy by nature, and not a leader. When he was young, he followed Dejinn's lead without question. He's doggedly loyal to whomever he cares about, and perhaps a bit clingy. That could be because he doesn't get to really have relaxed conversation with many people, being a princess and all. He's a nice guy, caring and everything, but he's a spazz, and a jumpy little fellow. He's definitely last in line in his family for helping rule a kingdom, and it doesn't bother him in the least. That doesn't mean he can escape notice, much to his disadvantage. It's only luck that's kept him from being betrothed, especially at this chaotic time in his life.
With his previous state of mind, messing up a spell and changing gender abruptly didn't do wonders for his nature. If it were possible, he became even more jumpy, and easily distressed. Even if he worried a lot before this change, he's almost always worrying. He worries about if he'll be able to change back, and if someone will find out. Also if he'll get betrothed to someone and then have to hide his predicament from them, and a ton of other things.
Despite the fact that Lenjeu turned herself into a male, he still looks relatively the same as he did when he was a female. He's slightly larger, and slightly more muscular, but nothing too noticeable. He adorns himself with gold bracelets and other accessories, although aside from that my design for him isn't all that similar to that of your typical royalgirl draik. For one, he isn't purple, but shades of pink. His body is slightly longer and more serpentine than that of your typical draik, although he isn't anywhere near oriental. Two horns protrude out of the back of his head. He's counter shaded, with darker stripes on his back. He wears a silver heart charm on a cord around his neck, which his sister gave him before she died. He has a long, dark-magenta mane, as well as long fur on the underside of his tail. The rest is easier described in the pictures I have of him, but those are the main points.
These are the pets on my main accounts, which Lenjeu would join the ranks of should I be allowed to adopt her.
 Wilia:
Wilia is my current draik. I adopted her yellow, and then painted her maraquan. It took ages for me to paint her, but I finally did. She has a webpage that I've been working on for ages and finally finished, and is rather popular. She's spunky, witty, and sly. Not to mention she's mention rather haughty and flirty as well. She likes to socialize, although so far I've only managed to roleplay her with male neopets, for reasons I am not aware of. I roleplay her the most of all my pets because she's just so funny. She has a petpet, a surzard, named Jahl. I've had Wilia for almost two years.
 Quarite:
My silver gelert, and my only pet on Milikii I haven't adopted. I had him from the start. He started out red, then became silver with a paintbrush a generous person gave me. He's arrogant, cunning, antisocial, and looks down upon everyone else. He enjoys solitude, so lives in the middle of nowhere. He has a petpet, a mimbi named Meha that I was given by another generous person. His page is completed, and has been that way for a long time. I haven't changed it because I still like it.
 Ricarnel:
He's a fire lupe I adopted a while before I adopted Wilia. He had a completed page once, but then I had to go and mess it up. He's possessed by a demon, Arkesterol, who killed both his parents. And while I don't much like lupes anymore, the idea of demonic possession in characters inspired me to create two new characters off-site, Sohn and Jez. He is kinder and more considerate than Quarite or Wilia, and he is rather good-natured, laid back, and with a good sense of humor. Arkesterol comes out when he's feeling particularly happy, and goes around killing people until Ricarnel becomes normal again.
I mentioned earlier that I roleplay and roleplay well (at least in my opinion). So, here I shall hope to prove it to you. It's not huge because I don't always write huge posts. I've written posts over 1,000 words before…Just depends upon my muse how much I write. And my muse is a terribly disagreeable fellow.
The temperature of the day had been high, but it had fallen as the sun began to set. Now it had leveled off to a more tolerable level, which was also assisted by the cool breeze that blew through the tree tops. They sky was a myriad of warm colors, swirled together with the brush of a genius artist. A few stars were visible against the reds and golds, and there were few clouds to block them out-just a few wisps near the horizon line. The vibrant colors painted the snow on the distant, craggy peaks golden, and made even the old bricks on the castle look beautiful.
Among those bricks lay the lithe form of a draik. His coloration was as vibrant as the sunset and the gold that glinted at his throat and wrist matched the lighter hues well. As did the bundle of fur curled up at his side. He watched the sunset, absorbed in the tranquility. For tranquil it was, as no others were on the roof with him. He could escape the turmoil of everyday life up here, which was by far a relief. Of course, he could not escape Mia, which was the name of the bundle of fur. His faellie stuck to him like glue, much to his displeasure, but she was better company than any one else he knew...Alive, at least.
The aforementioned faellie stirred, then sat up, clambering up onto the draik's back. She sat down between his wing joints to watch the sunset as well, and pester her caretaker. "Hey Jeu, you sit here every night. Aren't you going to do anything? You bore me," came her obnoxious voice.
The draik, Lenjeu, groaned, and shook, knocking off the petpet. "I'm glad I bore you. Maybe if I'm so boring, you'll leave me and find someone more interesting so I can have some peace."
After falling off, Mia was even more irate. "You wish! Why I outta, you ungrateful son of a-"
She said no more though, as she was promptly silenced by a fore claw closing over her mouth and muffling her complaints.

I have what I'd like to think a pretty good transfer history. I've only ever lost one pet out of many I've been on the receiving end of and that was by fault not my own. Not to mention that was a long time ago and on a slower computer than my brand spankin' new one I got about a month ago-which is very speedy. I have AIM, but I'd rather keep my screen name hidden from the general public. I'd just like to let you know that I've successfully completed 15-20 transfers of different types and am quite practiced. That includes self-transferring a white krawk, and grey eyrie. That also includes doing a transfer with another yellow draik. I am confident in my transfer abilities, and think you have nothing to fear in transferring should I be chosen as Lenjeu's new owner.
Oh dear me, that was terribly long, wasn't it? But there was so much to write; so much I wanted to say. I hope I kept it amusing enough, and it wasn't just senseless dribble. And although I kept a light tone throughout most of the application, I'd just like you to note that I am deadly serious about all of this. I tried to make it humorous to keep your attention, and I do hope I succeeded in at least keeping you from being terribly bored. But again, I am serious about this. And I hope you are serious about considering me as a possible owner for you lovely yellow draik. Now I'd like to please direct you to the next portion of my application…Lenjeu's petpage preview.
Also, in case you wondered why I referred to Lenjeu as her or him, it's not because I don't know her gender. It's because your Lenjeu is female, and my idea for Lenjeu is male, so I tried to use him or her in reference to which Lenjeu I was referring to. Hope it wasn't too confusing! Extra Links
