How to make a guild layout is probably the most frequently asked qustion in neopia! Some people know how, some people don't, and bla and bla and bla. I hope this will help you out.
Making the Layout
OK, first we start with the layout. Open a new page on whatever program you use for pictures (like paint, photoshop, ext.) MAke it the size you want.
First make a backround.

Next you put boxes on the backround for the blogs. They can be any size or color. Make as many as you want! After that, label them.

From here, Have fun with the layout. Decorate it! Add some pictures, or little words. Put a title on the top!
Uploading the Layout
What you just did was the fun part, now comes the boring part.
You need to choose a host. If you have an accout on photobucket, load it there. Also you can upload it on imageshack (dot) co (dot) uk.
After you've uploaded it, right click the image and select 'Copy Image location'.
Paste on the section where you write the welcome message for your guild layout. Now copy this:
Now put the image location in place of the 'http://img300.imageshack.us/img300/683/water32kn.jpg
Colding the Layout
Now come the most boring part of all, coding the layout. You need to know this code to do it:
Paste it onto the rest of the code. In it you will see top:, left:, width:, and height: . After this you will see a number, and px. Px stands for pixels. The number before it determines how many pixels in a certain direction it is. To get the idea of the size of pixels, look below. It says how many pixels long the box is, inside of the box.
| 50 | 100 |
Now that you have the idea how bix pixels are we will explain the meanings of the things in the code.
Top:How many pixels from the top your text box is
Left: How many pixels from the left you text box is
Width: How many pixels wide your text box is
Height: How many pixels tall your text box is.
So let's say you are starting with the news blog in your layout. YOu copy that code and paste it in the guild welcome message section. DO THIS OR YOU WILL DIE. Then you type what you want in it in the 'Type Here' section. Now you change the numbers after top, left, width, and height to what you guess they are. Now go to the main page to see how close to right your guess was, and if it fits perfectly in the box on your layout. If not, try again, adjusting the numbers to a closer guess. Keep doing this, until the text is perfectly in the box.
For the next box you do the same sme thing, and so on, until your layout is done!
Now you are an expert! Well, not quite, but you know how. Good job! I hope this guild helped! If you want to advertise, here is a banner!
