Preface

Right Then I knew something was wrong, something was going to happen. I stated I would take. I won't break that though I know it won't be fun for me anyways. So I stood and waited for the harsh to come. Waiting for it I knew.

Chapter 1 Intro

Once after Bella and Edward got married and after Nessie was born, a few people joined the coven. Angel, Nathan, Kate and with that came some complications. Kate has blonde hair, bright blue eyes, and has been here for 5 years, she has fit in pretty well with the Cullen's. But she is still trying to find her perfect match. She got changed at the age of 17 and is 88 now. Kate had got changed by a vampire, who trapped her in an alley. Carsile found her and finished turning her. She then went home with him to his family. After that she got use to the family and she fit in perfect, best friends with Alice and Rosalie even liked her. All that was left is her perfect match
Angel has dirty blonde hair, brown eyes, and has been in the Cullen clan for 5 years. He has fit in well since his appearance; he is best friends with Jasper and Emmett. He has had a crush on Kate since they were human too and is hoping she will change her feelings about him. He was changed when he was 19 and is now 90.He got change to a vampire because he had found Kate in the alley and tried to save her, but only got bit too. Carsile came and saved them both. And Carsile had offered him to come with him, so soon after he came with Carsile and the rest of his family. Turns out Jasper and Edward become his best friends.
Nathan has had a crush on Kate ever since they were both humans, and they went out once (she broke up with him though), he still liked her though. Nathan has brown hair, green eyes and he followed Kate to the Cullen clan one year after she came. Ever since he moved in with the Cullen's, he has been trying to get Kate to like him again. He got changed to a vampire when he was 18 and now he is 89. Nathan had got changed because he was in a hospital (dieing), someone knew what Carsile was and that he could save him. So the doctor called Carsile, and he came took Nathan out of the hospital and bit him. Once the transformation was almost done he left .No one was there when Nathan got up, so he wondered around for a while in this new world.

Chapter 2 The Vision & fight

It has been a while since the three came to live with the Cullens. They all have their own bedrooms and new wardrobes. It is summer in Forks, none of the Cullen's have to go to school now anyways though.
Kate's view
Today Alice and I are going to hang out. I walked over to my closet and pick out a pair of jeans with a purple polka dotted tank top and a cute little cover coat to go over it. I met Alice outside by the river, and then we went inside and started to talk. "So let's talk guys "Alice had said."Ok" "Alright first do you know of anyone that likes you?" She asked me "Yeah there are two guys see easy, Angel and Nathan." I said very easily of the top of my head.
Ok new topic" I told her. "Alright do you like either of them" At this point I was getting really mad. "Alice, Stop, off of the subject already! Alright I have an idea let's invite the rest of the family to game night, with: "Love Poker" And truth or dare". So we went and made notes to put in all the Cullen's bedrooms. Alice's eyes unfocused, I was here long enough to know what that meant. "Alice, what is it, what do you see?" It made me scare to think something really bad might happen. "I saw you and Nathan getting in a fight by your bedroom, tonight before the party. And you hurt him and you didn't care. He was fine I guess after though."Ok so that means he'll be making me mad later great. "Ok this is how it will happen, it is 5:00 now and the games start at 7: 00 and everyone is going to be here by then. What happens will happen and you said he will be fine." I got up and started walking toward the stairs. "Alright", Alice agreed. "I will see you later, bye!"
I went up to my bedroom. There I found Nathan waiting by my door, and I knew what would happen next. "Hello", he said to me as I walked in the door, he followed. "What do you want, Nathan?" I said as I opened my closet again. "I want to know why you broke up with me." Oh great not another topic I don't like. "Alright get this I am over you, I can sense that you aren't over me." I said, I went over by the door and once again he followed." Ok, but what made you change your mind about me?" Go away! Why can guys be so frustrating? "Alright we can do this the easy way or hard, it can turn into a fight or leave." "I just want to know….." I grabbed him and punched him then threw him out and he hit the wall. "Bye ". And I shut the door, went back to my closet. Toke out a black skirt, a belt, a black short shirt, a red tank top, and red high heels. No one knew the secret to "love poker". I do though. I can't wait.
Nathan's view
I went back to my room to find Edward on the bed. I went to find a note on my dresser. It said: Come and have a great time at the party. It is at 7:00. "Ok what is it that you want?" I said to Edward. "Why did you go and get her paranoid with you, she won't ever want you now". Why does everyone into everyone else's business? "I did what I could to try and find out the answer, but it didn't work". Go away already. "Ok I will see you at the party, Nathan." Edward said as he walked out.
I got dresses and Angel walked in. "Why did you do that, you can't just accept that she is over you get over her already." Wow not again. "Because it's what happens if you still love someone." This is so annoying. "Well I hope you know that she does know you still like her and you won't get her back I can promise that." "Ok well good bye for now Angel", I said as he walked out and I was glad he left finally.

Chapter 3 Love Poker

Kate's view
I was almost ready to leave my room and go down stairs when I sensed love coming; I sat on my bed waiting for something to happen. A few minutes later I heard a knock on my door, I grabbed a book off the ground acted like I was reading and said "Come in". It was only Angel, good I thought it might be Nathan again, but I sensed love…oh yeah I forgot he likes me too "Hi, what would you like Angel?" Make this quick please. "Well as you know during Stella's transformation into a vampire she didn't make it, I had to put our kid up for adoption, how is a vampire suppose to take care of a human child. And I need a gal." No, No, No. "Umm I have to go we will both be late, come' on now!"
Ok everyone, Alice has invited our friend Tanya who has agreed to come and play our games with us tonight. First the guys need to pick a partner; I will assume that most of us will pick our lovely match. That leaves Angel, me, Nathan, and Tanya. So Tanya you pick your partner first." If only I could not have to be left with Nathan or Angel. "I pick Nathan". Ok so who is worse Nathan or Angel, I really don't know, oh well. "Ok go stand by him, which leaves me with Angel." I started to sense love once again when I went by him. I could tell that Edward was very interested in what I was thinking; I blocked him so he couldn't see what "Love Poker" is. "Next the rules are the same expect that when you loose a round you have to take a piece of clothing off. So you start playing with your partner, no using advantages though. And you play till one of you is left with nothing and the you put it all back on and you play one of the girls/guys who won in their pair and you keep doing it till there are only two of us still in the game."
After we all started Angel was glad he got me I got down to my skirt. I won, Edward won, Nathan won, and Rosalie won. Alice and Jasper tied. "Ok next I will play Edward, Rosalie will play Nathan. Edward got down to his boxers and I got to my underwear, but I then won. Rosalie got down to her undergarments; and Nathan got down to his Boxers, but won. "Next Kate and Nathan have to play against each other, and we all get to watch" said Alice. "Ok let's get this done, boy." I had said to Nathan. It turns out I got all the way down till I had one piece of clothing wow I thought someone seems happy, and then made my move to win. "Haha I won and look I know you want it but you can't", I said to him.

Chapter 4 Truth or Dare

Alright it's time to play truth or dare" Alice announced. "Ok Alice why don't you go ahead and explain the rules." I told her "First lets all get in a circle it doesn't matter who you are by. Next we will go around and ask truth or dare, we keep playing and answering or doing what the questions are, till someone fails to fall threw and there are only two of us left." She said to us all. Oh great she just had to say it doesn't matter who sits by you, I'm stuck with Angel on one side and Edward on the other. I decided it can't hurt for Edward to read my mind so I let him. Alice finished, and I went first. I blocked Edward out of my head. "Ok Edward Truth or Dare?" I use to love playing truth or dare with my friends before. "Dare" was his reply. "Oh I see bro going on the risky side." Emmett had commented, and then added a laugh. Alright then Edward, dare it is, I dare you to give Tanya the love she wanted from you before." I told him. Bella gave him this really dirty look, that would have said don't you dare. His response was "You are so trying to get me killed, but I'm not losing just cause of that. Here I go, come Tanya." And in the other room they went we all knew what this meant. We all sat patiently waiting, and thirty minutes later they came back. "Bella, Truth or Dare?" "Well let's go with Dare, how bad could my own husband do to me." She had said." Ok, let me see, oh here is a good one, I Dare you to have Kate go in the other room with Nathan and well she knows, I read his mind and she can feel it. But you have to watch Bella." I should have known. "Oh great I should have not said that to my own husband. Alright I guess lets get this over with you to." Bella said to us. The three of us walked to the other room, I opened my mind to Edward and told him he would pay, soon too. Jasper felt my misery and tried to make me feel happier but I toned that out. I heard Edward say" Don't even try she wants me to hear her misery it's just going to get blocked out."
We went around the circle once and then back to me, I locked me mind and now I needed to get Edward out of the game. "Edward Truth or Dare?" I asked him. "Dare" again was his answer, bad choose. "Ok I dare you to divorce Bella now paper work and all." I laughed in my head and then just had to smile. "NO I refuse, I back out then." Cool! I knew that one would get him. "Ok Bella your turn to ask Jasper" Alice said to Bella. "Truth or Dare" she asked. "Truth" Jasper said. "Ok is it true you that you liked Rosalie before Alice?" Well no it is not". He gave Alice a smile. Alice gets to ask Rosalie next. "Ok Rosalie Truth or dare?" Truth Alice" she said. "Ok is it true you and Emmett tried to have a kid even though you are both vampires?" Rosalie looked at Emmett wondering what to say, and he gave her a look that said it is suppose to be the truth. "Yes it is true I have always wanted a kid since I was human." Rosalie asked Emmett, he asked Angel. Angel asked me "Truth or Dare, Kate." I had thought about this one I learned some thing, so I replied "Truth." "Ok Kate you choose truth, do you love me?" I should have known, I think I was better with this one though. "Uh, I don't know, and that is true, ask Edward even." At that time I opened my mind again so he could tell him I was telling the truth. "She is telling the truth Angel." Edward told him. We went around again and the only ones left were Rosalie, Angel and me. So now I asked Rosalie who would ask Angel.
In the last round I knocked Rosalie off with "Dare, Tell Emmett that you don't like him or want to ever see him again. Also that he should go to the Volturi and ask them to {kill} him." It was Angel and me, I am not loosing to him no matter what, or I think that. Now I ask him and he asked me, this might take a while. "Ok truth or Dare, Angel". He simply replied "Dare, and I can handle anything you send at me. Oh really I thought. "Fine you can be like that just means I am going to give you a good one. I dare you to go kill a human and prove it to all of us, and that goes against your record." I bet he will do it but I want to see him ask me the question he has wanted to ask me this whole game. "Ok, I can do that just be a bad boy, like you're a bad girl." He said as he ran off. I asked Edward while Angel was gone who he was going to {kill} Edward answered sadly "He is going to kill your birth mother." Uh didn't expect that one… "What the heck does he think that will help him at all?" Within the next five minutes he was back dragging along the dead body of my mom. "Here", he said, "I did it." "Ok my turn I choose dare." I was completely ready for what I thought he'd say. "Alright exactly the bad move I was waiting for, I dare you to get DOWN in the other room in front of me." Great I think I will open my mind so Edward can see how funny this is. "Ok, fine I'll give you what you want, I'm not scared." So we walked to the next room and there is when I got down and dirty as some would say. I thought it was hilarious, while laughing in my head. When we came back in the other room, I won, I got him. "Haha I won look whose good now "I said to him.

Chapter 5 The faint

After another hour of having fun we all went up to our rooms. I walked up the steps, my bedroom being on the top floor as Bella and Edward's is too. But they haven't stayed up here as much since they have their cottage. They really only stay when Nessie falls asleep up here, including tonight.
I got to my room opened my door and there was Nathan and Angel sitting on my bed. I think they were angry. They were yelling at each other I paid them no attention. I walked toward my closet door and heard "Haven't you noticed to guys sitting on your bed?" Angel said. I just opened the door to my closet when it shut without me touching it, I guess Angel got up and shut it then went to go sit on the bed again. "Fine what do you want, quickly too before I hurt you both." I went back over to my closet opened it again, picked out a pair of shorts and a tank top. At the time someone said" Well we all need to talk, soon too, about love." I went to the window and thought great now they will annoy me to death. "Ok well let's do this tomorrow." I simply said as I got mad at them for bringing up the subject, I think Edward felt my pain as I screamed in my head, touchy subject. "No now!" Angel screamed at me. That was a little too far to go in my room. The next moment I couldn't move but I saw nothing, I could still sense love though uh. "Ok stop now before I call for help from Emmett. I want you to leave now I'm going to bed." I tried to move it felt like I was in love with someone, but I knew better it was Jasper I heard a footstep in my room. "Let me see or I will randomly start throwing punches" I now got my vision back. "Ok now seriously leave, I want to go to sleep" "No you don't need sleep, vampire remember can't sleep". I then punched Angel hard to the ground and then dragged him out by the collar of his shirt. "Would you like to be next? Or just get out and put him somewhere."
Alright finally they got out I slammed the door and asked in my mind if I could talk to Edward, and then closed my mind. I went to my bed and put my clothes on that I laid out. Next I decided to go on the internet. I walked over to my desk where my laptop lay unused for a month. So I turned it on and heard a knock, I said "Who is it?" "The answer to that would be Edward. Kate, may I come in." "Yes you can, I walked over opened the door and sat down on my bed, he followed."Bella won't get mad cause you are in my room, will she?" "I would hope not Kate, what was it that you wanted me for?" I walked to the window looked out and saw me as a beautiful vampire with a husband, who he was I didn't know." I wanted to know if you knew what they wanted from me. Do you?" I had to ask him. I walked back to the bed and sat next to him and started to think of what I saw. "Well yes I do they were thinking hard of it till you came up last to your room. They wanted to talk about love and the past" I started to fall not usual for a vampire, and I went blank. The last thing I heard was Edward yelling for Carsile and my head started spinning.
Edwards's view
Carsile appeared two minutes later. I was wondering what happened to her. Alice, Rosalie, Esme, Bella, Emmett, Jasper, Angel, and Nathan arrived five minutes after Carsile. "What happened to her?" Alice asked. "I'm not sure really, I guess we just have to wait till she gets up" Carsile said to us all. "We all need to get back to what we were doing Edward you can stay here with me." Carsile has always respected us all and would do anything for us. Ten days later, Kate finally woke up. We were all standing around her.

Chapter 6 I Woke & Went Hunting

Kate's view
I woke up and found everyone standing around me. I got up and sat on my desk next to my laptop. Everyone looked as if they were expecting something abnormal for a vampire to happen. "Why are you guys staring at me like that?" I didn't know what day it was, but it was during the night. "I'm not sure, but what ever happened it wasn't normal, you were pasted out for ten days." How was I pasted out for ten days? "Ten days! You have to be joking me. I mean that isn't right, I'm a vampire or so I thought. I am a vampire right?" "Well you are a vampire Kate, but you pasted out we don't know why" Edward said, trying to make me feel better I think. "Kate what happened when you were on the floor pasted out from the time being, we tried to talk to you it didn't work though" Carsile said to me. "We were all very worried "Alice and Bella said at the same time. Then they both laughed and Carsile asked me the same question again. "I don't want to talk about it right now, it's complicated" I said. "We need to know eventually Kate you need to talk some time. You still have emotions you can't block them up forever, even if you try your hardest at it." Jasper said to me while I'm thinking he was trying to control my emotions. I could tell Edward was trying to work something out from my thoughts. I really don't think it was working very well though. "I really don't think you would understand and I don't think it's the best idea in this room with everyone in here" I said trying to get them away for a while.
Ok Kate I see, I think you should at least tell Carsile and me." Edward said. "Fine" I mumbled. Everyone walked out expect Bella, Nessie, Carsile, and Edward. "I'm thirsting for blood right now. Can I at least got hunt before we have to have an annoying conversation, I'd hate to hurt one of you." said to them. "Good idea Kate. Edward she does have a point what do you think?" I was hoping he would say yes but I thought there would be another part of curse there always is for me. "Alright, Kate I suppose you should, but someone should go with you in case." Can't he just trust me for once? "Oh you don't trust me, fine I wouldn't ether if I were you." I was going to change into a dress, I walked over to my closet and picked out a long silk dress. That was green and blue mixed together. I put it on as the guys watched, "Got a problem, remember this is my room." I said to them. "I'll go with Kate, Nessie wants to go hunting anyway and I want to go too" Bella said. I walked over got my necklace that was blue with a gold chain, and then walked over by the door of my bedroom. "Well I guess you can go with Kate, Bella." Edward said to her. "We'll meet your room at twelve o'clock, Kate. And be here." Carsile said to me while he and Edward left my room.
Ok we can leave once I get Nessie into her clothes for the day." She said as we were walking toward her and Edward's room. "Alright" I told her and we walked over to the dresser with Nessie's clothes in it. Bella picked out a pair of clothes for her daughter. After Nessie was dressed we walked out the back door. "You do know why they didn't want you to go alone right" Bella asked me. "Uh yeah Edward doesn't want me running away, which I might consider doing sometime. So why did you want to go with me?" We were walking and then started running toward the baseball field where we would then decide where to go. I realized that I am really fast at running I slowed down a bit. "Mmmm, well I did know why Edward wouldn't want you to go by yourself, which then made me wonder what happened and why you might run away." Bella said as we approached the field and Nessie got of my shoulders. "Umm I think he got a glimpse of what happened and knew it hurt me when I was pasted out. I went back to my past it was like it happened all over again. So where you like would to go or what would you like to hunt?" I said to Bella. "We could go hunt some deer that is the closest. Why would your past hurt you Kate I don't follow that." We were starting to get the scent of the deer running north of us. "Well we can do the closest; my past isn't friendly to remember now that I'm a vampire." We got the scent and started after it. I got five deer including the leader, Bella got five too, and Nessie got three deer. We went back it was now eleven. Bella invite Jake over and he knew something was wrong. To avoid the misery I locked myself in my room for half the hour, with my mind blocked. The last half of the hour I jumped out of my window and went to the woods where I found Sam on the divide. He was wondering what was wrong but I left him there and started the opposite way. I found a place that looked peaceful and lay down.
A while later I heard someone start to approach where I was, it was Alice looking worried and Edward. "Kate you had me worried I saw you jump out the window and you were gone." Alice yelled at me for leaving, they both came and sat next to me. "What happened in the time you weren't with the rest of us you told Bella some and she refuses to tell me." Edward said. "You should know Edward, Jasper was trying to stop me from being upset and hurt. It was my past and it was played all over again." I said to both of them. "And why did you leave that is why I didn't let you go by yourself this was going to happen some way." He said. I looked up at the treetops and wanted to leave I just opened my mind so he could see and I left to go back to my room.

Chapter 7 The Talk On & Off

I have still not been able to get on the computer. Once again, I turn my laptop on and sat on the chair in front of the desk. First I check my E-mail and had one saying I have a discount at Abercrombie and Aeropostale.I think I will take Alice shopping one day. Next I went to neopets, I have had one since I was fifteen. I had a lot of neomails and I answered all but one. It was from Angel how in the heck he found out I had an account here I didn't know and he left me a friend request. Sent yes back to the requ est and then sent him a neomail saying:
How did you know about my account? Since when have you had an account here? And why did you even try to talk to me here?
After two minutes it showed up as he is on. I got all my neomails back with the replies. His reply was:
I knew because someone told me. I have had one since I was 16 and because I knew you might be mad to talk to my face right after you're …..Faint if that is what they call it. And we need to talk about some thing and you won't want to though. So it's the fact that I love you.
Does he really think this is going to help him at all; it's just going to make me even more frustrated.
Umm I was trying to decide whether or not to log out and turn my laptop off. I replied and simply said:
Why do you not get I don't like you and that if I did you won't get it that easy.
The rest of the conversation was just I loves you and other annoying stuff.Also he was just trying to get on my good side and to get me to like him. After a while I went to his room a floor below mine. I got there and knocked. "Mmmm it's about time you came to visit the guy who loves you" Angel said to me like I cared. "You know I won't admit if I do or don't like you right?" I said as he moved toward me and I moved to sit on his bed. "Yes I do know that Kate, but that doesn't mean I should give up hope", as he said trying to get closer to me, uh no, I moved again and pushed him. "I think we both know who is outside the door don't we", Jasper was trying to get my feelings in a loving mood, and "I can tell you know that he is too, no hiding it". Why doesn't he just tell me what he wants? "Ok so I love you but you don't feel the same way back." Great he got some of the picture. "Alright what is it that you want Angel I have things to arrange." Doesn't he know it's not polite to make the ladies mad? "I want you to say you love me" He said with a smile on his face. "No, good night Angel" I said after one small (kiss) on his cheek, and then walked out the door and back to my room.
I got back on my E-mail and sent Alice one. I knew she would be on. It said:
Want to go shopping just me and you this weekend? We can go anywhere to a mall. I kind of want to get a way from here for a while. Let me know. Love Kate.
I guess she was ready for it; I got an answer two minutes later. It said:
Sure, why not? We can go this weekend. Want to go to New York? I'll get the tickets and then we can go for like two days or something. I have got to get a few new dresses and some other stuff too, so this is a good time.
Ok, I thought, if I leave with her they can't expect I'd do anything bad. My reply said:
Ok we can go on Friday night stay Saturday and then leave Sunday morning. Alright you get the tickets. New York is good! One of us will just have to tell the others. Yell at Jasper for me would you please, he was trying to get me to like Angel by changing my emotions haha, lol .See you in the morning then, Bye.
I then turned off my laptop went by the window sat down and thought, what if I do like him, creepy. I went to my desk got a piece of paper and wrote:
I'm only going for a walk. Please don't coming looking for me, unless it's morning. Be back soon.

Alice's view
I saw her jump and write a note. It's now morning I went to Kate's room to see if she was back, but all that was there was the note. It looked as if she took a bikini out of her closet. I walked down the stairs and looked through the rest of the house no sign of her. I went outside and caught her scent when Edward came up to me. "What are you doing Alice?" I had to think of something but he could read my thoughts. "I'm going for a walk" I said, some what true. The sun now was completely in the air I could see my reflection in the glass windows, all sparkly, even in the reflection. "Ok bye Alice" is all he said and then walked away. I found the trail she left behind and followed it all the way to a lake surrounded by trees. I walked to the edge.
Kate's view
I came up from under the water and Alice was standing at the edge on the other side. Oh darn it, I meant to be back by now. I swam over to the edge that she was near. "Ok I order our tickets and told them we were going Friday." Alice told me as she sat down by the edge. "Alright cool, do you want to come in with me?" I got out and sat next to her. "Sure" she said as she took of her shirt and skirt and jumped in, left with undergarments.

Chapter 8 The Swim & Hunt

I jumped in right after her in my green bikini with blue swirls. Next we raced to the end and back, I won. We swam around for hours. We heard someone approaching us. It was the others looking for us, we thought it was funny. We invited them to come in and swim with us. They didn't want to come in so we got out and went back to the house following the others.
2 days later
It's Thursday, Alice and I are in my room packing my clothes and accessories, and other stuff. I have packed for the days we will stay. I have a silk top that is pink with a black skirt for Friday night, a black skirt with a sparkly top that has stripes (purple and black); for Saturday night a blue night dress, and Sunday morning I have a pair of gray sweat pants with Aero going down the side in pink, with a pink top. And also I have Friday's picked out, a long baby blue dress without straps, and black high heels. "Alice when are you planning to pack?" I walked over to my dresser and got some little things out and put them inside my bag. "I have already packed, but you need to pick out your purse and get your money ready too." I then got my black purse and my pink purse. I also got my money out from my walk in closet from the box in one of my dressers. "Ok I'm set I think I'm going to hang out, in the back yard for a while." I got on the rest of tonight's clothes, and walked by Alice as she said" Ok I'm just going to leave to go hunting."
I went to the yard and found everyone waiting there, Alice wasn't there. "Ok, let me guess. I am going to be warned that if I run away, I'm grounded or in big trouble. Am I right?" I went to sit by the river and they followed. "Yes that is correct, we decided if you run away in New York and we find you …..That means you can't leave this state or anywhere away from the house with out me and Emmett. So there for don't RUN AWAY!" Edward said as always I'm not the most trusted. "Fine, but I don't understand why I'm always the one not trusted. Can you answer that? Just cause of little things, being the second blonde under this house, being the naughty girl or bad girl has to do with it. I am better off on my own if I'm not even trusted." I threw a rock as hard as I could, it went really far all the way into the woods, and I think they noticed I was mad. "Ummm Kate how are we to explain this" Carsile said. "I'm not sure since of what happened and you are locked up, as in I can't read your mind ever anymore, I am not able to know what won't or will happen. So we won't be taking all those chances." Edward said. "Am I allowed to go hunting, brother? Oops sorry I meant Sir." I walked along the river curious of why he doesn't just come on the trip to New York. "Sure you can why not, since I am supposed to trust you." I was going to run and get my running shoes. When I came back they were all there, Alice still gone. Bella asked me "Kate would you take Renessme with you? She wants to spend some time with you before you leave." I would love to but what does Edward think about that? "Are you sure your husband would let me? He doesn't seem to trust me." Nessie walked over to Edward, he bent over and she put her hand on his face. Assuming this was away to get her way, I wondered if it was going to work.
I guess she can take you Nessie. Go get ready." He whispered into her ear. "Kate a word" he said to me as the rest of the family left and Nessie ran upstairs to change. "What now? I should be like Alice, and tell what you are going to say." I simply smiled as I knew what he was going to say, a threat. "You are taking my daughter hunting. Anything dumb or dangerous happens to my daughter, you will be …. Punished, killed something to make up for it. Don't mess this up, Bella would be upset too." I wondered up and down the river. "So you still don't even trust me with your kid, really I should have known. And now I'm supposed to be scared of your wife too. Man do I have news for you. There is one and only thing, I'm scared of, my past. Now if you don't mind I'm going to met Renessme in your guy's room. Bye I'll see you when I come down I suppose." I walked in the house and into Edward and Bella's room. Nessie was almost done. "Get your swim suit too, I'm going to get my purse to put it in don't tell your dad." I ran to my room put mine in it and came back. She handed hers to me and I put it in there too. "Ready" I asked. "Yup let's go" She said back. We got out side Edward waiting. Chapter 9 The Shocking Surprise

It's Friday, six in the morning; I'm putting on today's clothes, my long baby blue dress without straps, my black purse, along with black high heels. I grabbed my bags and went down stairs, I left my mind open this morning as I went near everyone, even Nessie was up. "Good morning, Kate and Alice" Esme said to Alice and me, Alice came right down the stairs after I did. Alice's bags were already down here. "Good morning Esme" I said back. I walked by the big glass window and stared at the back yard for a minute.The next minute someone was standing by me, Edward of course, another talk about running away I assume. As I looked at his face he shook his head no. I said "I'll be right back guys; I guess I'm still not trusted". Come on lets go to my room I thought and he followed me there. I shut the door after him, "Ok what is it" I said getting mad. "We need to talk about something, a thing you might not want to hear" He said calmly. I walked into my closet to get my blue stoned necklace. "Ok what would that be" I said as I walked back out of the closet and shut that door. "I love you ……..Kate" He said. "WHAT? NO, you can't. Your married Edward, you couldn't do this to Bella. What are you trying to tell me?" I sat in the chair at my desk and put my head down. Dam It I thought over and over in my head." Kate it will be fine you just can't tell anyone. You should go you will miss your flight soon." I sat on top of my desk facing the mirror in front of it. I was going to put on my necklace, when Edward picked it off the desk and put it around my neck. "Thanks…. I guess" I said strangely. "You need to go now" Edward said and then kissed me on the lips. When he did that all a sudden I started hearing his thoughts and the ones down stairs. I was confused, I was sitting on my desk one second and the next I was laying on the floor.
I went down stairs and Edward noticed something strange, about me. Alice and I walked outside to get into my Blue Porsche. Alice was driving and she asked me what Edward wanted from me. I thought hard about it and Edward answered it in his head. "He warned me once again about running away in a different state, and about running away anywhere. That's all." I said answering her question. My cell phone rang. It was Edward and I even should have known that. "Hello Edward, What would you like?" I climbed to the backseats, twenty more minutes and we were at the air port. "I think Alice knows, and I made a song for you. Want to hear it?" A song really? "Really you shouldn't be doing any of this. And now really isn't a good time, bye."
By the time we got threw all the security, we only had to wait thirty minutes. We sat down in some chairs and started talking. "So Kate, anything new" Alice asked me. "Actually yes, I can read minds. But I can turn it off just like I can make it so Edward can't read my mind." I wonder why all this is happening. "Wow, that's kind of weird. I'll be right back." She said as she walked away. I took out my cell and dialed Edward's number.
Edward's view
My cell phone rang; I was in the middle of playing with Nessie in the woods. "Hello Kate." I wondered why she called me but I was happy she did. "Something strange happened. I can read minds. I know what you are thinking right now!" she said. "Weird, "Prove it then". He doesn't believe me. "You are thinking of me, you miss me, love me: and that is wrong!" She yelled the last part at me. "We can do something about it when you come home, and better yet only I, you, Alice, and Nessie will be home together." I told her. "Why?" "They are all going on a hunting trip, Alice might go too. If I can get Jasper to take her." Ok well I'm going to have to go Edward, bye." and then I heard her hang up.

Alice came back and then we got on the plane for the two hour plane ride. Our seats were First Class.

Chapter 10 The Beginning

Once we put our bags in the compartment above our heads we sat down. I sat by the window and Alice sat on the edge. The Time is seven and we haven't even left the ground. It's just starting to get light outside. At seven thirty we left the ground and into the blue sky. We had two hours on the plane, left. I pulled out a pad of paper and started doodling.
Alice have you seen anything lately" I asked her, curious from earlier. "You know what I saw one thing this morning at four in the morning. It wasn't something I'd like to have seen. It was definitely bad." After she said that I knew exactly what it was she was talking about, I wanted to cry. I felt so bad I couldn't believe it. I haven't really ever wanted to use my new power; I kept it shut a lot. "What was it Alice ", I asked so scared I think she knew that I already knew. "You and Edward kissing and he liking you .And at five I got another one and you were trying to run away from everything love able, guys especially. So I can't let you be alone for a while" Why did I have a feeling this would happen. "I …..Knew you would know. I'm sorry but you can't blame me I had no idea. I don't want Bella to find out. She'll want to fight. And you know I can hurt her more than she can to me." Now she's going to pull the on one condition. "I won't tell anyone if on condition .You never try and run away, never. Do you promise?" "Yes. Thank you Alice. One of the last things I want would to find out he likes me, his wife finding out. She and I get in a fight and I hurt her, Edward wanting to kill me even though he loves me." "Ok I believe you for, now." I looked out the window wondering what he has now caused me, for trying to keep it a secret from his wife. I really felt bad and some how I got tears rolling down my cheeks.
In the last hour I felt my phone vibrate ten times, saying I had gotten a text but more than one. I snuck it in and out of my pocket so Alice couldn't yell at me or see it. They were weird or to me they were: First:

There was only one more hour left. And I finally decided to text him back after twenty more from him. I wrote:
Hey look here you aren't the only one who can do this. Ok so can you still here my thoughts? Cause this isn't my best idea of the day. And do you know what you caused me, for trying to keep it a secret from your wife. I had to make a big promise that I would never run away to Alice. How do I know I can put up with that. Living in a house where three guys love me.

We were getting really close to our landing. "Alice, why does he want me. Doesn't he know its bad, betraying his wife?" I asked her. "Honestly this time I'm not able to answer it. I know he loves you, not why. But he does know Bella would be mad if she found out." "What am I suppose to do. I wanted to just go away from the family……..but I can't now. I didn't want to go back. I could…….go to college, when we get back." "I'm not sure Kate but you promised you wouldn't run away. And when you do Emmett and I'm sure Edward too, will find you and drag you home. Punishments come with that too." "Fine" I mumbled. I felt my phone vibrate again its was text:
Yes and no I can but I can't. One you have to let me and I have been trying to get threw your mind and I have been trying all morning. Yes I do I read her mind when she said it. But why would you need to leave. On your own can't be worse then in a house where guys love you. You know when/if you do run away Carsile will let me help pick a punishment. I got of the plane with Alice and we went threw the security in New York. There finally. After that we rented a car.

Chapter 11 Royal Salaries

We got our car a black Volvo. The fastest car they had to rent. Next we went to our hotel, The Royal Salaries. We checked in and got a suite. The suite had a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room, two bedrooms one with a bathroom in it. I took the one room with a bathroom in it; it was bigger out of the two. I unpacked some of my clothes and put up hair and then pulled out my cell phone to call Edward.
Edward's view
I got a phone call who could it be…my love? Yup it's Kate. "Hello, Kate! You called me. What's up?" I was on my way to hunt, with Nessie. "Who is it daddy", she asked me, "It's Kate darling, Want to say hi?" I told here and asked. "I was calling so that you wouldn't text me through eternity. So while I'm on the phone, what are you doing?" I put Renessme on my back, getting ready to start running toward the baseball field. "Um Nessie and I are going hunting, I'd ask you to come but you are far away. And what exactly are you doing now?" Nessie kept pressing her small hand on my cheek asking to talk to Kate. "I'm just unpacking some. I was thinking of going to hunt, but then I suppose Alice would have to come with me, it can wait." " Someone wants to talk to you, Kate. Oh yeah I suppose she still isn't sure she can trust you, I wouldn't either." "Ok and who would that be. And stop with the we can't trust you thing or I might just have to run away tonight." "Fine whatever, but Nessie wants to talk to you, here she is." I said to her and handed the phone to Renessme "Kate! I miss you!" "Hi, Nessie! How are you? I miss you too." "I'm ok, we're going to hunt. I just wanted to say hi. So here is Edward" "Ok take care of him, don't let him do anything reckless. Love you sweetie! Bye." "Ok, Kate. When are you planning on leaving to hunt? And let me know what's up every so often." "Well I am now 88 thanks, I think I can take care of myself though. Not to mention, I am a vampire. I was thinking around midnight. Well I have to go." "Alright, I will talk to you later, lovely. Bye!" "Bye Edward!" She hung up the phone and Nessie and I started for the deer.
Kate's view
I hung up and then decided to go see Alice. "Alice" I called in the other room. No answer. I went to the fridge and found a note:
To Kate:
Kate I went hunting don't do anything dumb, please. I will be back at 1 o'clock and we can go shopping together some. Go ahead if you like go shop. Or explore some in the hotel, and or anywhere. Well I'll see you in the room around one.

Ok so she left to go hunting perfect. I'll go and explore the hotel. I walked back into my room and grabbed my black purse and left. I went down to the lobby. And then to the Spa where I asked "May I just pay to use your assortment of nail polish?" to the lady who looked 20 at the most. "Ok, you can just go over there and call me when you are done so I can see how much you will owe" She said politely back. I walked over to where she pointed to. I saw all the colors. I picked a dark blue for my fingernails and then black for polka dots on my fingernails and then I did black for toenails. Bye the time I was done the lady was already over next to me. "I'm done, how much do I owe?" I asked her. "You can give me two bucks and I would like to ask you something. First I'm Teresa." I was curious, to what it was; I didn't use my mind reading ability though. "Sure ask away, Teresa." I said as I pulled a two dollar bill out of my purse. "I was going to offer you a job here to paint nails. You did an amazing job on you're finger nails and toe nails. I know you are a guest but I'm willing to pay you. How long are you staying?" I was wondering why but "Ok sure I can do that I guess. I will be here till Sunday morning." I said. "Alright when would you like to start?" Uh wow! Never expected to have a job while I was here. "I can work till noon today and then tomorrow we will talk then and I'll tell you then. Thank you!" I was opening my purse to text Edward; I got my cell out and wrote:
Sweet, I just got a job at the salon. And on vacation, I get paid while on vacation, just to paint nails. Tell everyone I miss them! I'll talk with you later. Bye!
Love Kate "Ok let me get you an outfit to wear and then you can start. I will send your customers over for you. And you'll get paid cash today, right before you leave." She said and then led me to a bathroom and handed me an outfit for work. I went back to my station and had a customer ready. By twelve o'clock I had done 20 pairs of finger nails and fifteen pairs of toe nails. "Ok I have to go now Teresa." I walked over to her at the counter, in the busy entrance way of the spa. "Ok yeah I'll see you tomorrow! Here is your pay for Today. I was handed fifty dollars in cash. I got a text back while I was on my way back up to our room. It said:
Oh how cool! Everyone said hi back and they miss you too, especially me and Emmett. I hope to talk soon have fun! Bye
I walked back up the stairs and waited for Alice to return. So I turned on the TV for a while. An hour later Alice arrived. "Alice! I got offered a job while we are here, it's at the salon! Want to go shopping for a while?" I said while walking toward her. "Oh cool, a job, doing what there? Yes, sure lets go shopping" I went to grab my purse. "The job is at the salon and I paint nails! Alright let's go!" At that thought I was thinking of how I am such a Cruella De Vil.
We went shopping at a ton of stores in Hot Topic I found and outfit that made me look a lot like Cruella De Vil. We got back at the hotel 3 hours later. I wound up with some dresses, jewelry, shoes, and skirts. That was all the shopping we were doing today. It is now five o'clock here. I changed into my night clothes, a silk top that is pink with a black skirt, and high heels that are pink the rest of the night till ten we just hung out, in the hotel room.

Chapter 12 Cruella De Vil

I am I really like Cruella De Vil? I don't really know. But I guess I am. Should you be scared of me? I was in my room lying on the bed, what am I suppose to do? I would ask myself. Eight o'clock now I text Edward:
I'm leaving to go hunt bye!
Alice I'm going to hunt now. I will be back uh, sometime I guess. Just depends." I went back to my room grabbed my purse, money, extra clothes, and shoes. Just in case. I went out the door through the lobby and into the dark night lit by the stars. I started to run as far away as possible and made sure my mind was blocked. I was wondering if it can block out Alice's visions, I'll be lucky if so. I stopped once I got twenty miles into the forest, and wrote a note:
I know I'm going to be in big trouble. Fine get Edward and Emmett to come get me. I don't care. I have to say, Cruella De Vil is my horrible feeling. I don't care what you do. If you know me I might never come back. So whatever what you do is what you do. When I get punished by Carsile and Edward I assume, I get what I get and I'll take it. I will deserve it…I hope.

I saw it and as soon as that I got a call from Edward saying:

By dawn they were here. We found where the note was. And started following her scent.
Kate's view
I unblocked my mind and let him read mine and I read his. He seemed really mad and I could tell he wouldn't ever trust me again. Does this mean the trip is over for me? I asked him in my mind. Yes actually it does Kate, sorry he said back. Oh no don't be sorry. I blocked my mind and got out some of werewolf smelling stuff and let it go behind me hoping they would loose me. I opened my mind completely not thinking of my last move. Catch me if you can Edward. And I started off as fast as I could. Getting lighter and lighter outside I began to be more careful. Once I hit the edge of Delaware I could tell they were near should I surrender? They slowly approached me. "No surprises. Darn I thought you could do better than that Edward. So what will happen to me now?" I walked slowly toward the water. They watched my every move, trying to be a step ahead. "You know what Kate." Edward said. "What?" I replied. "I'm tired of chasing you today. So here goes the easy way" He said and then came running at me I moved, but just wound up on his back. "Put me down, I am very capable of running back on my own, Edward." I screamed very mad. "No you deserve it and you said so yourself." He said to me. "Fine", I hate myself now.
I guess I'm not Cruella. We got back to the room and I was watched by Edward while packing my bags. "Why don't you ever trust me?" I asked Edward. As I put all my clothes I brought with me into my bag. "Cause I know you, Kate. Why don't you trust me?" He asked back. I had to think about this one. "I don't trust anyone that includes you, too. And when are we all going back home as you would like to look at it?" I replied. I walked over to the window and stood to watch at the world around me. "We are going to be leaving tonight at six. Why?" I walked back and got my purse. "Cause then I'll stay in the hotel but I'm going to work. Bye." And I walked out of the suite. I went down to the salon and talked to Teresa. I will start now and work till four. And she said I'll get paid hundred for working today. I'm also invited to stay again for free if I work some while I'm here too. That is if I'm ever let out of the house again. So it is once again time for me to go. Now that it is three I have done 25 sets of finger nails and 20 sets of toe nails. I went over to Teresa, by the counter and said "I'm sorry I have to go now. I might just take you up on your offer. Is there anything that says that?" I said while I got out my purse and threw my other clothes on top of the work ones. "Yes there is here is the certificate, and information on that. Here is a recommendation and here is your cash for working" She said I started to walk out and said "thanks, bye."
Later when we get on the plane
We got on the plane and it was a long ride home. When we finally got off the plane Carsile and Jasper were waiting. I got to drive my Purple Porsche followed by Edward and Carsile. Alice and Jasper went home together. I can't even drive myself home from the airport. Wow and I thought I can be harsh; I pulled in the drive and parked my car. I got out prepared for any of the possibilities. I went up stairs to set my things down. I went back downstairs and said "Hi" to Nessie; was greeted with a hug from her. She didn't know what I did, yet. Right Then I knew something was wrong something was going to happen. I stated I would take. I won't break that though I know it won't be fun for me anyways. So I stood and waited for the harsh to come. Waiting for it I knew. They came in the room ready and I wait for it to come. What will happen now?

Chapter 13 Consequence

Edward came and whispered in my ear "Don't worry it'll be fine." How much I wish I wasn't turned into a vampire, just let me die instead I could be somewhere else! "I'm not scared, just so you know, I said I would take it and I'm not taking it like a baby, like a woman" and then added "Sorry sweetie". I walked over to the couch, and sat down; closed my eyes and imagined heaven, a place nowhere like this.
Ok, Bella can you take Renessme to the cottage, and stay with her, please." Edward asked her. She did as asked. Man they must really make their marriage worth it then, haha. Bella left with Nessie at her side. "Kate, why did you run away, again?" Carsile asked. God I feel like a child, I'm twenty years almost off of a hundred, and yes I'm completely a child, really. "Because I didn't want to come back and none of you know how to follow a note. If it wasn't for my note you might never have found me, lots of woods, even if she did see it. And now you want to punish me. But really I'm treated here like I'm five. Umm but really I'm eighty-eight years old, mm. But I'm ready for what you throw." I said, looking from Edward, Carsile, and Jasper. I guess he isn't messing with emotions today, not trying to make me sad, darn.
We were going to let you stay here on your own Kate, while we went on our hunting trip but since you would run away, it isn't going to work that way." Carsile said. "I'll volunteer to watch her, and you guys can go hunting" Edward said. Great the boy who loves me of course wants to help. If he really does love me he'd have let me go. Hear that one Edward, hope it hurts. "Ok and what does staying home and the rest of the punishment include?" Don't make me regret asking. "You will stay with Edward and do whatever he wants Carsile" said to me and then looked at Edward, Edward smiled; I thought no, no, he can't do this to me. Now I really do have to run away!
Don't worry, Kate, you still have me to come to" Angel said, when he walked by me. And then Nathan had to come and say "There's me too, don't forget I'll wait for eternity till you are ready, again." Why oh why couldn't he just let me die instead of being here. "Fine, when do you plan on leaving with the rest of the family, Carsile?" I asked. "I was thinking tonight. And first someone shall go with you while you hunt, Kate." Carsile said aloud I was reading his mind, trying to understand why he still doesn't trust me. "Fine but I want a reason first, and you know what I mean by that. Come on speak your mind, I can already hear it. If you don't tell I'll keep searching." I said, plain and simple "Whoa, I'm confused. How are you able to do that? Uh no way, you can read minds, too." Haha no one told you, a little behind in the game. "Better believe it Carsile, no test on me, just tell me why." I walked by Edward, walked real nice around to stand next to him. Tell Jasper to help the feeling, I want the truth out of his mouth, and now. Edward said to Jasper just to make him want to. "Fine Kate, you want the truth hear it is. Your record from a human meant you were the bad girl, the one who did the bad. Caused it, had fun with it. You aren't worth the trust, I can't give you trust. Maybe I should let you go." He said. "Ok I'll go hunt with someone now. Who would like to come baby sit the eighty-eight year old Vampire?"
So in the end Renessme and Bella went with me, Bella didn't want to hunt, I had two mountain lions and Nessie had three deer. I got back to the house said "I'm here "and walked into my room. Nessie came to my room with Angel and Nathan to say bye to me. Angel said bye, and give me a kiss on the check which in return, I slapped him when Nessie wasn't looking. Nathan decided to hug me after the fact I slapped Angel. Nathan said bye and they left. Nessie and I crawled onto my bed and I pulled out my coloring books. We colored for a while and then she fell asleep. So I left her on my bed for the time. I put away my coloring books and then sat on the floor, thinking of what has happened today.
She woke up and I took her to Bella, she thanked me. I got my final byes, so did Edward. Nessie then wanted to stay with me. So it was Edward, Renessme, and me.

Chapter 14 Rock Body your

Well, if he really loved me, he would make this easy. No this is Edward; he thinks he needs everything he wants, oops. I walked to my room followed by Nessie. "Kate, I want to see Jacob."I walked over got my phone and called him. I told him "Nessie would like to see you. Can you come over?" I got of and said "Go tell your dad, Jacob said he be over in a little bit. And she went to go tell Edward. I wonder who she will turn out to be more like, I hope Bella. Since at least she was human while being the one to have the kid. Renessme walked back in the room , with none other than Edward. I growled you no this is my room, right, I asked him in my head. Yes this is your room, but my daughter is in this room, I may come then, along with I have lived here longer than you. Fine be like that, Edward. "Well good idea, Kate, having Jacob come over. Now we can spend some time talking of consequences". The last part he said in a very low whisper, trying not to attract Nessie's attention.
Thirty minutes later I was saved, Jacob knocked on the door. "Hi Jacob, good to see you again" I said and pushed him in threw the door. Then whispered, don't let Edward take me alone somewhere, thanks, and can't explain. Jake and I walked down to the cottage of Edward's and Bella's. "Oh hi guys!" Edward said. "Hey. Jake I have a good idea; do you and Nessie want to go swimming? I was just on my way to get my bikini to go. "I said trying to get him to say yes." Please say yes."Want to go Nessie?" Jake asked her. "Let's go. Kate You'll come too right?" She asked me. "I guess I could. Except I don't know if you're dad would let me. Seeing he doesn't trust me.", I said to her I knew it would disappoint her. So she walked over to her dad, I looked at Jacob and said "just watch", in a whisper. "Please can she come with Jake and I, please daddy" she asked. He shot me a dirty look, saying in his head at the same time cheater you know my weakness, and we need time alone! Mmmm he seems rather mad about it but he can't say no to his own daughter. So sounds like its time for her to spend time with Jacob and me learn more about him. "So dad please can she come?" She looked at him in the eyes. "Ok, she can go, be back in a couple of hours." It worked, yes. "Yay! Come on Kate lets go get our swimming clothes on!" I ran in the house with her. I put on my bikini, walked out of the house and heard "Wow!" from both the boys. "Are you ready Jake? You can swim in your shorts right, or do you want to run home and grab a pair of swimming trunks?" He went to get Nessie after he said he just go like as. Edward walked over to me and kissed my cheek while they weren't there and said "You look rather gorgeous today." I looked at him. He must really think he has a chance."Just to show of my wonderful body, you really think you might get some of this?" I said while pointing down my body. They walked out the back sliding doors, "ready Kate" they asked as they came walking near. "You know it! Come on, let's go. Bye Edward, I turn to blow a funny kiss. And he wanted to actually kiss me, "you wish "I said. We got to the lake, Nessie went right in and I sat on the edge near the water. Jake came and sat by me. "Hey. What is up with you and Edward? "I wanted to scream obviously he knew since I didn't want to be alone."Uh. Well you can't say anything to anyone. Like complete secret. Not even the pack could know…….Edward. Well likes me and he is married, and wants to have some fun while they are gone….with me." I said hopefully not to much to fill him up with. I climbed a tree he came to ask more questions. "Well ...that's bad, wrong, doesn't he know better? Just refuse to. Run away. "He said. I did a back flip off the highest branch and landed in the water and touched the bottom. I heard a splash next to me. He followed but not as risky. "Um well I can't runaway. Last time I tried I got in big trouble. Um the rest of the Cullens went hunting he is in charge of an eighty-eight year old vampire. My punishment, I have to do whatever he wants, anything! Not good. Tonight will be bad." I swam over to Renessme. "Oh I see", he said to me.
We swam for two hours and came back. Jacob left. It was dark already, Nessie was asleep, I was on my E-mail. Edward got on his, great, just great. I climbed on my bed with my laptop. Next second an E-mail in my inbox, who is it from, Edward duh. I opened it and it said:
Come meet me in my room. We should …talk. And I need to show you something. Actually you should put something on other than what you are going to wear to bed

Great, I know what he wants from me. But just because of that I'm going in my bed clothes went to my dresser to get out my frilly black short dress, very short above my knees. I put it on and walked back to his house. I knocked on the door three times, Edward came to the door. Picked me up of my feet and whispered in my ear "She's asleep, we have the house to our self's." I thought if only I was your wife it would sound a lot better. "Edward you are a grown man you know better, Bella would try and rip my head off. I'm sure you still love her and I can do what I want whatever you vampires say." Still I was in his arms struggling to get out of them. He was taking me to his room, well his and Bella's room. Great that big bed, that was similar to the one on Esme's Island. "Please just this once Kate, you have to do whatever I want. I guess you will have to." He said as he set me on the bed, and lay next to me. If only I could not feel anything, I might be ok. "No Edward, Stop, Don't." I yelled softly at him, he was trying to pull the bottom of my frilly black dress off. But come on you have to Kate, would you like to die instead? , he thought. I might just rather it, but I'm sure your daughter would be disgraced with you and I could come haunt you. It was morning. I was lying in his bed, the door locked, he was next to me. Hi I thought, and he thought it back in a more happy and lovingly way. Did you have fun last night? Sure why not, even though it was for the worst of my survival. I looked down we weren't dressed. Lovely, I guess he did get what he wanted, did you save my dress? I hear you ruined one of your wife's. I did save your dress, please one more time? But you have to actually throw a part in it. Nessie is going to be up soon Edward. Exactly we go swimming and leave Jacob here and he hung out with her till we came back. Fine, I got very mad. Our whole conversation was threw our heads. "Bye" I said and left the room.
I went got my bikini and put my dress over it Edward snuck in my room and was wearing well a towel. "Ready to go swimming, Kate?" "As ready as I'll ever be" I replied. We got to the lake I did a double back flip of a branch and Edwards saw it coming and caught me and the rest was history under water and this time was happier with me.

Chapter 15 The Fun Begins

I went back to my room after a while.I found me cell laying on my desk and there was a text from Alice. I pressed open message, it said:
You and Edward have been up to something, I've seen you to jump in the water and you being in their house. Watch it! You know Bella, she'll get mad at you. Something bad is going to happen I can tell.Just tell me what it is. Now tell. Oh are you being good?

I guess I'll go change. In my closet I found a a yellow blouse that tied around your neck. I put that on and found my old faded jeans to wear. I got out my diamond earrings along with a necklace, with a K on it along with small diamonds. I needed to call Alice or text her. I guess I'll just call.I went to find her in my contacts and pressed send. Here I go getting myself in deeper trouble. "Hello, Alice", I said as she picked up the phone, "I got your text and thought I might as well just call you. So what's up?" I heard Edward walk in the house threw the sliding glass door in the back. "Oh nothing just wondering why you haven't replied and why I'm getting weird visions of you and Edward? Also Bella is getting mad that she hasn't talked to Edward." My turn what am I suppose to say? Umm yeah haven't figured out that yet. "Oh well Edward and I uh I don't know if I can answer that and I haven't had any idea why he wouldn't want to talk to his wife. Would you like me to put Edward on three way with us?" Then I heard him say why oh why in his thoughts, you got me into this and you're getting me out of this conversation. "Yes go right ahead and put him on too! So what did you do today?" "Oh ok here hes on now too! Oh just went swimming, that's all." Right such a lie. "Hi Alice, So what did you want?" Edward asked. "Oh nothing really other than I want to know what is up with you and Kate. Now whats up with you two?" Alice asked, I laughed in my head. "What do you know Alice? Have you said anything to Bella?" Edward asked Alice nervously. "No I haven't told her anything, yet. I will if you don't tell me what you to are up to. So fess up." Alice replied and I knew she would tell Bella "Alice you know that would cause me more trouble than him. Bella would kill me, well wouldn't succeed but she would try." I said about to run away. "Alice I can't tell you" Edward said, "I'll only tell you I like Kate. But that's all I can tell you. Good bye." And he hung up. "Sorry Alice I had to he made me. Just don't make this hard for me. Or someone will get hurt if Bella found out what I did. Especially since she would think it was my idea or my wants but its Edward wants." I said and then said" Good Bye, Alice".
Great they are coming back in a few days from the hunting trip. What am I to do? I mean if Alice tells Bella I'm sure we'll get into another fight. And this time someone is more likely going to get hurt intending to be her not me. Nessie walked in my room and wanted to do something before her mom got back, good idea. We wound up going for a really long walk out to a waterfall and then we went father to treaty line and had Jacob escort us threw the rest of our walk till we were back on our side of the treaty line. Then it was night fall. I had taken Nessie back to the cottage when Edward opened the door for me. I took her to her room and laid her in her bed. Then I went to find edard in the living room. "What do you plan on doing about this situation? I can tell Alice is going to tell Bella. And when she does it means trouble for both of us. I suggest that Nessie goes with Jake tomorrow, before they get back just in case. Unless you might want your daughter to see some extreme fighting, that is likely to happen." I said, then thought what would happen if Bella and I got in a fight would they let us fight or do something to stop us? "Well if I don't let her stay she'll think something is up since her mom is coming home tomorrow. If that does happen well hopefully Nessie learns from it instead." He said back. "Well whatever", I sad as I walked out the door and ran back to the house into my room. And lay on my bed for a long time till morning.
Great it is four in the morning; I have received a text already, no wait two. Well those can wait. I went to my shelf of movies in my room to grab Eye of the Dolphin. One of my favorites, staring a 14 year old girl who didn't know she had a father.. I put the movie into my DVD Player. Then went to my desk grabbed my laptop turned it on and sat on my bed. My movie started and I checked my E-mail. Great one from Edward, Just a love note I guess you could say. Next I could go check out my texts. One was from Alice, I didn't reply. Next Edward's says:
Meet me by the door of my house.
My reply:
Uh no I'm a lady, come get me or come to me if you wanna talk.

Maybe I should go hunting today....Go idea. So I watch my movie for another thirty minutes and I heard a knock on my -blocked- It was Edward. "Come in", I said "What do you want?" I went to get my remote to find he had placed it at my reach before I had the chance to get up and find it. "We need to talk. I talked to Bella this morning. Uh well she knows and I tried telling her I wanted it, not you. Well she didn't listen." Great I think he just made everything so much worse. Now what am I suppose to do fight the women he married. "Ok so what do you want me to do about it? It's your fault." I walked over to my closet and decided to get something nice on. I. put on a black skirt, a white shirt, and a black belt. I put a black headband in my long blond hair. "I don't want you to fight her, she'll come home mad. You just have to stay away. Maybe this is the time you should run away." Edward said as I started to smile. "You're joking me. If she wants to fight she'll get it. I'm not that girl who is going to run away from a fight.. I thought you'd know that by now, Edward". I said and then jumped out my -blocked-

Chapter 16 The Arrival

In the next hour I had crimped my hair. I went to my bathroom and got a stick of lipstick and mascara to put on. Then I decided to find Edward, they would soon arrive. Nessie and Edward were lying together on the couch. "Edward, can I please talk with Nessie ...Alone?" I said and she looked at me and knew something was wrong. "Sure, go on Nessie."She jumped down and followed me to the second floor." I love you Nessie, like you were my daughter. I just want you to know that." She made a weird face trying to figure out why I said that. She walked closely to me and said" I love you to; you are like my sister, Kate." Then she went down stairs back to her Dad. She put her hand up to his face and showed him the image of me telling her this and asked why I did that. I heard him say" Your mom won't be happy when she gets home. Kate just wants you to know that. Whatever happens she still loves you, we all do and will. Promise me if anything happens you won't get in the middle. And risk your self. Promise?" And she took his figure and shook it with hers.
An hour later the rest of the Cullens got home. Bella came in and told Edward she'd be back in a minute. She went to go put her bags in the cottage. Then came back and asked Edward to follow her outside and to bring me. Uh! Why me? Seriously, it's his fault he is going to get in trouble. We got outside, Edward dragging me by my arms. "Edward you did something with her.", While pointing at me she said that more directly toward him. "Ok, I did. We did I guess. But come on no big deal right?" I could tell he knew it was such a big deal. I could almost know if she was a human still her face would be as red as a tomato. "It is too a big deal. Edward we are married do you remember that? You", she pointed at me again," Tricked him, I just know it." And now something horrible would happen. Edward told me to run. I didn't. Next thing I know Bella is chasing me as I run threw the different trees. "Come and get me" I yelled back at her. I stopped at a waterfall, and told come and get me if you like. She charged at me. I imagined Carsile and the rest of the family showing up now. Then two seconds later they came. She finally hit me. She fell. "Are you sure you want to continue. I'm sure I can take you. Oh not to mention your daughter is right over there." I pointed at Nessie for the last part. She didn't seem to care. Again she got up tried to punch me. I caught her fist in mid air. I threw her in the opposite direction. Edward looked like he was in pain. You can stop it anytime I told him as he read my thoughts.
Bella jumped in the air toward me I simply moved ten steps in the other direction. Oops down she went. I jumped up into the tree and did a nice little back flip off the branch and landed on Bella's chest. "You can give up now. And cause Edward less pain. Or we can continue." I stepped down off her and moved and inch away she jumped up and started to walk toward Edward whispered "Sorry" and turned back. She made a small fire, and caught a stick on fire. She ran toward me and caught the side of my arm. I could feel the pain rising. And in that I got a lot worst about the situation. I pulled out my brand new pocket knife. Edward knew what I was going to do. He came and took both of us in one hand holding us back from each other. "Stop!"
We all went back to the house. I went to my room. Edward and Bella didn't make up yet. I was using my laptop, checking my E-mail, and I heard a knock on my door. "Come In" I said. It was Edward. He told me he wanted to do something with me before he made up to Bella. I replied "I will go to Isle Esme with you if you get remission. After this you have to make up with Bella. "He said" Ok"And left. Bella and Nessie had been staying back at the cottage and Edward staying in his old room. Or sneaking into my room *rolls eyes*. You would think he would know better. Being married and having a child.I guess he really doesn't. I guess he really does love me to risk his relation ship with Bella. So I put on a movie and laid down, on my bed after he left. I hope there is a way this will turn out to be fun. I grabbed my coloring book and colored till morning. Hoping this can all be turned around.

Chapter 17 Packing Bags

So in the morning I went to the store. I bought a new Ipod Nano and I got my cell phone updated. I also took a short trip to the mall and got short shorts, a couple dresses, and tank tops. Plus a few accessories, I needed new ones Edward managed to ruin some. I had called Jake and asked him to hang out with me today. So I could tell him everything. By the time I got home it was noon. Edward was waiting in my room. When I came in he swept me off my feet. And set me on the bed. "I got permission from Esme and Carsile to take you. Pack your bags!"
Wow! I guess he got them convinced quick. I didn't think it would be so soon. But Nessie is going to start asking questions soon. I hope they have something planned to tell her. Oh well. I guess I'll go pack my whole closet. Assuming I don't know how long I'll be trapped with him. Better bring some of my present s from Alice. She had given Bella and I few night outfits They were very fancy and had a lot of lace. So I decided to text Alice. She was surprised that I agreed to go with Edward. And she thought I shouldn't do this. But I figured Bella ought to know I can take her in a fight. After all I wasn't the one running away from danger. If something bad happens we take what we get. An hour later I packed most of my stuff. I had gone for a run, the wind running threw my hair all ruined in one moment. I had gone too far. Over the treaty line, I could smell them coming and I read Jacob's mind he thought it was me.

When I got back Edward was holding two plan tickets. I took mine and stuffed it into my pocket and then went off to say bye to Nessie, Rosalie, Esme, Emmett, Angle, and Jasper. Carsile had a talk with me before I left and I said goodbye. I found that Angel had started to avoid me. And that we were spreading away. It had been months since we actually talked. I walked out to my Farri, I put my bags in the back. I bought it in replace of one of my other cars. "Hop in we're taking my car today." I climbed into the driver seat. I sat down turned the key and off we went. We arrived at the air port just in time to get threw the security detectors and get on the plane. While on the plan Edward acted as if we just got married and kept trying to kiss me. I was trying to read a book "Vampire Knight". I wasn't succeeding though. We got off the plane and rented a car. We were getting closer. My first time going to the island, what would it be like? I always wanted to know and I'm going with a guy I don't really think I like. He drove the rest of the way. I had no idea where I would be driving anyways. It was fine with me. But I was thinking what I would be doing if I wasn't a vampire. Would I have anything to do with my life? Or would the way I am now be better? I was always curious to see what would have been better. Or death be better then both. We got into the boat and the closer we got the more excited I was.
We got there when it was completely dark. First we walked threw the kitchen to the bedrooms. I got the bedroom Edward and Bella had for their honeymoon. I see they replaced the headboard and pillows. He took the other bedroom. I felt like falling asleep. So I found that I lay in bed till morning. I sat up to find Edward with his shirt off lying next to me. I got up and stretched, for no reason. I just remembered something, the, times that Nathan and I were together. He wasn't all that bad until we started fighting. I pulled my bags out from under my bed, to set it on my lap. "Morning", Edward said. I looked at him. "Morning, So what shall we do today?" I got out of the bed and went to look at myself in the mirror. "Ummm we could go swimming in the coral reefs today" I said as I started to walk over to my bag to get my bikini. After I got on my bikini Edward went and got his shorts on. I got out my towel that was covered in cool designs in pink and black. I put on my blue beaded anklet and my blue dress that I put over my bikinis. I sat at the kitchen table over looking the blue water surrounding the island, waiting for Edward. By the time Edward was readying and we left I was on chapter 5 of Vampire Knight.
We went out side and Edward pulled out of the garage two new additions to the island. They were jet skis; I was so excited to get to ride one. I had never even set foot on one before. We rode till we got to where the reefs were and we jumped into the clear blue water. This was the first time I had seen all the beautiful fish under water. My dad and I went scuba diving when we were in Mexico. We were getting ready to go back to the house. I noticed the speed went up to 250 mph I was thinking the exact same thing as Edward since he asked "Want to race back to the house, bet I can beat you." "Why wouldn't I want to race, what if you don't win?" I turned the key as he yelled "Then I'll just have to take my anger out on a headboard and some pillows tonight," And I pressed the gas here we went. He got to the beach a second before I did but I turned the key and back flipped off of the Jet Ski and onto the sand. "Haha I beat you! A girl beat you! What are you going to do about it?" I guess his answer was to chase me around the house.

Chapter 18 I Did That?

I got up and looked down at myself I wasn't wearing anything. I looked over beside me and there was Edward. I quickly threw on jogging shorts and a tank top. I went for a run I started as fast as I could so Edward wouldn't follow me. I stopped at a fallen down tree and sat down. I just couldn't believe I did it I just didn't remember last night. I guess he brought (wine) or something in that sort, because that is the only thing we would drink and it might make us not remember what happened. But why would he do that?
I jogged the rest of the way back after trying to convince my self that I didn't do it. I went in the house and got my beach towel that was decorated with stripes and swirls, all in black and blue. I grabbed my book and headed back outside. I laid down on my towel and started reading. Well until Edward found me, haha, I knew he would come bother me sometime. I glanced up at him he smiled and I continued to read. Not giving up yet he sat down beside me, I looked up again, and started to read the next page.
Kate, are you mad at me?" He looked at me, "You won't talk to me…what's wrong?"
I looked at him and then finished reading the page. I was finally getting somewhere in my book. I smiled.
Yeah, I'm kind of mad at you. Hold on I'll be right back." I ran in the house….looking for an empty bottle. The bedroom no, kitchen no, the garbage yes found it. I walked out the door and sat back down be Edward, holding the bottle with one hand.
Whats this, I didn't know you drink (wine)." I laughed he knew that I knew what happened.
I occasionally will drink a glass or two. You had some last night too. You don't remember?" He thought he could play a game will this too.
No I don't remember, but I do know what happened. You'd be smart to not doing anything like hiding or trying to hide anything else. End of conversation" I said and folded up my towel and started to stand up when he grabbed my arm. I tried to get away it didn't work. I looked up at him.
Kate, do you want to do something today still?" He asked really nice.
Sure, let's go hiking. Go get ready met you in the kitchen in a half hour." I gathered my things and went inside got to the room I was staying in. I set my stuff on the bed and grabbed my sunglasses, and my cell phone. I went in the bathroom where my eye shadow is and put a silvery looking eye shadow on. Then I put my hair up in a bun. I put my cell phone in my pocket and put my sunglasses on top of my head. I stepped over to the full length mirror, my hair was up and I was wearing black shorts that have a white stripe down the side with a matching tank top. Good enough for me I had fifteen more minutes. I went to grab my black hat that has Fox across the front in white and behind FOX in a faded white it says FOX. Put on my hat and played the radio. The song "Bad Romance" was playing. I danced around listening to it for a while. I decided to go grab my black bikini that has white strings and white a heart in the corner of the top piece.
It was time for our hike. I walked in the kitchen and Edward was ready, off we went hiking into the forest on the island. It was beautiful, unlike anything else I've seen. I'm glad I said I'd come here with. Its so pretty here, I wish I could live here. I looked at Edward he stopped. He wanted me to do something. He is dreaming.
Edward, why are you doing this? Bella doesn't want you to. What if she doesn't forgive you?" He looked at me for a minute.
Well if she doesn't want me any more she can divorce me and we can get married!" He smiled.
No Edward, you can't do that. Come on we're almost to our quiting point. Race you back to the house!" I smiled and started to run.
He beat me back, but before I got to where he was standing he picked me up. I double flipped backwards out of his reach. He followed me in for a swim. Later he was happy, he had a little fun swimming. I went back to my room, so I called it. Edward walked pass my room.
Told you, you could have fun while you were here, I know I am" He said and went back into his room.
Of course he was. For the rest of the night I laid in bed. Having no idea what he was doing, some peace and quite.

Chapter 19 The Lyrics

I got out of bed and popped in a Sugarland CD, the first song to play was "All I Want to Do". I got my skirt and tank top out from my bag, gray skirt with a pink and gray tank top. Threw on those and walked out of the bedroom into the kitchen. On the circle table there was a note. From Edward of course who else?

I don't want to get up baby, let's turn off the phone. I don't want to go to work today.Or even put my makeup on. I've got better things to do.Than my todo list anyway.Hide under the covers. Nice quoting Sugarland All I Want to Do. Not good enough……I wonder what he was picking up. Let's read his mind. Well he was doing a good job of hiding it. All his thoughts said was Kate's pretty, pretty, pretty. Very helpful or maybe not turns out he remembered I'm noisy. I danced around the house and then went for a swim. After my swim I laid on the beach and read my book. I had ten more chapters to read. When Edward came back I was in the kitchen coloring a sketch of a vase with all different colorful flowers. He was carrying a bag.
Whats in the bag….?" I asked curious.
You'll find out later." He said and went into his bedroom and hid the bag.
Fine" I shoot him a dirty look and started to color again. Upset I gathered my stuff and locked myself in my bedroom. Well that didn't work he walked in the doors that lead to the beach. He lay down beside I walked up and put on a red dress and went outside to a patch of flowers and picked out a red daisy. Put my hair up in a bun and stuck the red flower in hair. I turned on some music and started to dance. Edward eventually joined in and I taught him how to do the Tango. He went in his room and brought back his surprise. It was my favorite "Wine" we took towels out on the beach and a small table. We talked and drank. Somehow I believe something else happened….even though I woke up in my bed.
I went for my run and took a dip in the water. Surprisingly I haven't seen Edward yet. Lately I've kept my mind blocked, it make Edward frustrated. I'm almost done with my book and I went out and found a nice shady spot under a tree. Laid my towel down and read. I had one more page to read when I heard a boat. I went inside and called for Edward.
Are you expecting someone?" I asked. I wondered who it could be.
Yes. The maids are coming to clean the house." He said wondering why I'd asked.
Oh, ok, does that mean we are leaving the island soon?"
I talked to Alice this morning and I have to go back. So we will leave tonight and be back tomorrow." Edward tried to read my mind.
You want to go jet skiing?" I said hoping he would say yes.
Sure, go get dressed." He walked into his room; I think he was going to pack some of his stuff.
I went into my room and put my bikini on and my black sundress over it. Put on my sunglasses and put my black flip flops on. I walked outside; Edward already had the jet skis ready. We had raced miles and miles away from the island. We stopped and went snorkeling. All the beautiful fish, everyone a different color, some were blue or purple. When we got back it was two in the afternoon. I sketched a picture of all the fish I saw and colored it. We went for a walk there were tons of flowers. Edward picked one and put it in my hair I had to laugh. When we got back I drew another sketch of the flowers I saw and colored it after. It was almost time to leave. I packed my bags and changed into jeans and a tank top. I put up my hair and Edward carried me and my stuff out to the boat. We drove threw the traffic in the town and then we took the plane back. We got back and Edward went to see Bella and I went to my room. Bella came and asked me if I could watch Renessme. I said yes and she brought her up to the house. She slept most of the time. By morning Edward and Bella had sorted everything out. It was all back to normal. Until I noticed......something was missing.

Chapter 20- Gone

What was it? I don't know what it is but something was missing. As I walked around the house I realized it. I had just pasted Nathan and Angel's rooms. Absolutely nothing was in them. They left, they left me here. No goodbye.
I screamed "Carsile!"
He came two seconds later knowing I knew something had happened. "What is it Kate?"
They aren't here. Where did they go? Why?" I was confused.
After the saw you leave with Edward they knew they had no chance with you. They had no reason to stay. So they left."
Carsile left me in the hallway. I knew it was my fault. I went to my room and stared out the -blocked- Everything was simpler when I was human or at least it seemed that way. I got on my laptop and printed out a Mandala coloring sheet. I went to my desk and got out a box of Crayola Color Pencils. I started to color and I thought about what to do next. I could hear Edward's and Bella's thoughts as they walked up to my door. "Come in", I said knowing they were going to knock.
Kate, I think we should all talk about a few things", Bella said. She seemed cheerful.
About…?" I asked unsure where she wanted to take this. I looked at Edward. He didn't really seem to know either.
I don't want you to feel unwelcome because of what happen between you and Edward. I'm not upset with you or him anymore. I think we should all just move on like before." Wow she surprised me
Well actually Bella, I've been thinking I have made a mistake. And I need to start somewhere. I was thinking of going to college. Starting gymnastics again, well college gymnastics something I haven't done or tried." I said looking around.
You know if you go we all could go", Bella said sounding positive.
True, that would be fun. I mean Edward gets everyone to do anything for him basically. Bella and I could be roommates. But I think before I go making a big decision we should all hang out first."
I went to my closet to change into sweatpants and a matching tank top
Oh I know what we could do," I said, "Nessie, Bella, Alice, and I could all go out for pedicures and manicures."
Good idea Kate! I'll have Alice get us our appointments!" Bella said.
After they left I went to the gym to work out. I cam back and changed to go swimming, it was the middle of summer. I later went to Port Angeles to get a new bikini, hair ties, headbands, nail polish, and bracelets. I went to Staples to pick up some stuff for Nessie. Pencils, Erasers, notebooks, Pens, and a cork board/dry erase board for in her bedroom. When I went back to the house I helped Nessie with her school work and then I showed her what I got her. She asked me to help her hang the cork board/dry erase board up in her bedroom. Later we had a bonfire and invited Jake over. After he left I went up to my room and turn on my CD player.

Chapter 21-Girls Day Out

Two Weeks Later
It was the day Alice, Bella, Nessie, and I went to get out pedicures and manicures. I went to get put on a black minni skirt and black leggings with a fancy white shirt and a black over jacket. We were ready to go. I drove in my new blue jeep with Alice in the passenger seat and Bella and Nessie in the back. We brought our flip-flops prepared for when we're done. We pulled in the parking lot of the salon. When we walked in there was a hallway full of doors and the Front desk. Behind the front desk, it was like a big counter curved, was a wall and on the sides was open. Behind there was all the equipment for cutting hair. That's when we all noticed something. The guy getting his hair cut didn't look anything like a human. His skin was a pale white like ours and golden eyes like us.
We signed in at the front desk and wait in the waiting area, off to the left of the front desk. In the waiting room there was a big painting on the wall of a bridge reflected in the river below. There were flowers and trees along the edge of the water. We were called to pick out our colors, as the ladies got ready. I picked out a ocean blue, Bella got a purple, Nessie got a green, and Alice got a bright red. We were all going to have our toe nails and fingernails painted the same color. There were four chairs in the room for pedicures. There were three tables in between the chairs. It had been a long time since I got a pedicure. After our feet soaked and were dried we put our flip flops on. They put two spacers on each foot. First they put a clear coat on the bottom. It dries and then they use the nail polish. After the nail polish dries they put a clear top coat on. Once that was done we walked very slowly to the waiting to be brought into a room for our manicures. Four different ladies came and got us to do our nails. When we went out to pay the mysterious guy wasn't there anymore. Not like I was expecting him to be there, pedicures take a while. While we were paying I asked to buy a bottle of each nail polish used. This way we could do each other's nails another time. We left and went hunting. When we had got back to the house it was already five pm.
After we showed off our fingernails and toenails to everyone we pulled Edward, Jasper, and Emmett aside. We told them about the mysterious guy we saw. Later that night they had snuck out and did a horrible job of it because I was able to catch them. I went with the guys and we found out his name is Larx he is seventeen and has a girlfriend Jamie. He is definitely a "vegetarian" like us. We don't know anything about his girlfriend other than she is a vampire. They planned on talking to him tomorrow. We went back to the house to find Bella waiting on the stairs holding Nessie. One thing I always wanted, to have my own child. Not that I'd ever be a very good mom. We told her everything we knew and told her that they would talk to him tomorrow.
The Next Day at Noon
The guys came home followed by Larx and his girlfriend. They explained to us that his power was lightning. Jamie, his girl friend, was a really fast runner. They both lived in a house not too far away from our house. We invited them to come play baseball with us on one condition. That Larx would shoot some lightning into the air to create noise, that way no one would hear us playing baseball. We got into teams of six. Edward's Team included Rosalie, Jamie, Carsile, Nessie, and Esme. Emmett's team had Esme, Bella, me, Alice, Jasper, Larx, and nessie. The game was never ending until one of us finally said it was time to head back.
It turns out Larx and Jamie aren't too bad. We'll all just have to hang out again. I went and sat on my bed to think. Later during the night I decided to take a moonlit walk through the woods. I ran into Jacob on his way to visit Nessie. We talked just to catch up and then both continued on our way. The next morning I checked my email to find a message, that I had no idea who it was from.
Subject: Hi Kate!
Hey Kate! Edward told me your email address. Thought I'd like to thank you for the wonderful time at the baseball field today. Maybe you should come over to our house.

I wasn't expecting that. Well I better reply.
Subject: Re: Hi Kate!
Hey Jamie and Larx! I had fun too. We should do it again. We could plan a day to hang out at your house if you like. I'll call Jamie to pick a good day. Well I'll talk to you guys soon!

Chapter 22- The Deal

So the next morning after I showered and got dressed I picked up the phone and dialed Jamie's cell number. On the fourth ring she picked up. "Hello. Kate?"
Yeah, Jamie its Kate. I thought I'd call to make plans again. "
Alright. I was thinking maybe we, just me and you, could, maybe go to the mall to go shopping!"
Ok," I said,"When would you like to go? Maybe Friday afternoon?
That sounds good. How about one?" She asked.
That works for me!" I told her.
So it was planned that we would go shopping at the mall this Friday, in two days, at one. After I finished talking with Jamie I went into my bathroom and curled my hair. I had a manni and peddi scheduled for twelve o'clock.
I got to the salon just in time for my scheduled appointment. I get my finger nails and toe nails done on a regular basis now. At least every six to eight weeks. The lady who took care of me was very nice and in her early thirties, or so I guessed. On my way home I stopped at Best Buy to buy a case for my Ipod, a new Ipod Dock, and new ear phones. My last pear of ear phones got worn out and started falling apart. On my way home I remembered that it was only a month or two before Nessie birthday. I needed to talk with Bella and Edward to make sure I could get her what I wanted to get. I was going to get us identical puppies! On my way up to my room I ran into Edward and mentioned that I'd be out to the cottage to talk with them after a little bit.
I walked back through the woods to their cottage and knocked twice. I heard a muffled "Come in" and assumed it was Edward who spoke.
Edward was just coming down the hall and tagging along behind him was Nessie. "Hi Nessie, Why don't you go play outside. I need to talk with your mom and dad for a while." It was as easy as saying those words and she did as asked. She waved at me while opening the doors and then disappeared behind the wooden door.
Hello Kate." Bella said stepping out of the kitchen. "I understand you wanted to talk to us.
Yes, I did. Nessie's birthday is coming up and I would like to get her a puppy. I would also be getting myself one that looks identical. Before going and buying her a puppy I wanted to make sure you both agree it would be fine." I said, wondering what they thought of having a dog. Both of them having no experience with them.
Edward answered, "That sounds like a very good idea Kate. But on one condition.
Ok, what is the condition?" I asked.
You have to watch Nessie tonight and help training the dog. Deal?" Edward and Bella were making this fairly easy.
Deal. What time tonight? What d o you need me to do?"
Renessme hasn't done any school work today. Give her some worksheets and have her do a few pages in her works books. Practice spelling and have her read. Also if you would she really needs some new cloths, they all have stains or just are worn and have holes. Edward will leave his credit card with you until you go shopping with her." Bella seemed to have this all planned. Crap! I hope Alice hasn't seen what I've been planning.
Edward and Bella left and I stayed at the cottage with Nessie. First she read and we did spelling together ,and then she read and studied history, and science. Working in all her books. After she was done with those we moved onto Math. Once done with school work we hunted for mountain lions, running to Montana to the mountains. One our way back we swam in the lake. By the time we got back to the cottage Nessie was tired. Once in her pajamas she was asleep. When Bella and Edward came back it was late, but I'd been reading just like any other night someplace else. I told them I hadn't taken her shopping and would to tomorrow. Keeping Edward's credit card until after shopping tomorrow. Once they thanked me I left and headed back to my room to get in my own pajamas.
After getting on my white shorts and black tank top I dug in my jewelry box to find one pair of earrings. In sixth grade a boy named Nathan I'd dated bought me a pair of diamond earrings set in real gold. I'd put them in my ears and got out my white and black bangles. Along with a white necklace. It was ten o'clock when I finally left with Nessie in my new black convertible. I sold my other two cars. Once winter hit I would buy another one. I took Nessie to Old Navy. She got two pairs of jeans, four pairs of shorts, six tanktops, five shirts ,and two pairs of capris. I bought myself two pairs of jeans, two nice shirts, and two pairs of capris. Using Edward's credit card to buy it all. Next we went to Shoe Carnival. Where I'd bought an Adidas pair of gel flip flops, new running shoes, a pair of slip ons ,and two pairs of high heels. I decided it was time to introduce a small high heel shoe to Nessie. She got one pair of small high heels, three pairs of flip flops, and a new pair of Converse. Edward's credit card paid for all but the high heels, I put them on mine. I wanted to go to Clair's to get more jewelry and Nessie found a small black sequence purse for herself. While I bought head bands, bracelets, necklaces,and earrings. Next stop was the Jewelers where I bought a bracelet, two pairs of ear rings, and three rings. Then we headed home.

Chapter 23-Watch Out Mall, Here We Come (preview)

Later that night I went back to my room to color in one of my new coloring books. It was an Outdoor Coloring Book, full of beautiful scenery. Lakes, rivers, mountains, meadows, and fields full of flowers. I always colored in my good books with colored pencils. After watching NCIS and coloring I logged onto my Mac desktop. I now had a Windows 7 laptop and a Mac desktop. My current desktop was a orange rose. I checked my Neopets looking threw my directory and the graphics page I made graphics for. After that I checked my emails. I had ten emails unread in my inbox. Some were from stores like Wet Seal, Aero, DEB, Rue 21, Forever 21, and American Eagle. Coupons I printed off and Sales! Finally I put on my plaid short shorts and a black tank top. I laided on my bed till morning. I got up and took a shower. Pulling on a white skirt with a black belt and a black and white plaid shirt. With black high heels, a silver chain with a black heart, and black dangle earrings. I grabbed my white purse and my keys to the convertible. Running into Emmett literally and flying backwards. Talk about not paying attention. He said "Sorry" and we talked for a minute and then I headed out the back glass doors toward the river and down the path to the garage. Once in my convertible I zoomed down the drive way and onto the road. Looking up the directions to Jamie and Larx's house in my GPS. When I arrived I said "hi" to Larx and talked for a while Jamie was doing her makeup.
We got into the car and Jamie asked "Are we just going to the Mall? Or do you need to go somewhere else too?"
Actually if you don't mind I would like to stop at a couple places outside of the mall." I said I needed to go get some things for my flower beds I was planning this fall and look around for a good set of puppies.
Alright," She started,"so we'll go where ever you need to go and then to the mall!"
So we drove to the garden center lots of miles away from Forks. I got three garden decorations, one was a stone with writing on it, the other two were statues. I got three bags of fertilizer and two of potting soil. A new watering can, hose and spigot, and a set of small garden tools with a set of ceramic pots. Then we went farther out to a really big pet store.
Where I explained to Jamie " See its almost Nessie's B-day and I want to get her a puppy and also get myself one too." She thought it was a wonderful idea. Every kid needs a friend like a dog.
She said "You know what they say, dogs are man's best friend." I looked around and thought about Golden Retrievers and Pomeranians. After I looked we went to the mall!
We went to so many stores. Most were the ones that sent me emails. I bought dresses, skirts, jewelry, pants, purses, and tons more! Jamie bought Renessme a purse full of bracelets and earrings. Along with a scarf. She was going to tell Larx to take Nessie to get her ears pierced for her birthday for her present. With all our bags we filled the rest of the trunk! I took her home and we planned soon to have Larx make thunder and lightning so we all could play baseball.
By the time I made it through the door of my room it was Twilight. I went for a walk with Alice and talked about my day at the mall with Jamie. After dark ,at midnight to be exact, I went swimming in the near lake. Flipping off a branch and into the water. By surprise I found Edward watching me swimming. He surprised me by showing up an hour after I got there. I didn't get out. I swam laps and floated on the water. Finally he said something.
I know you know I'm here. Are you going to make me come in after you?" I hope he didn't want to cheat on Bella or something again.
What do you want?" I asked as I swam toward the edge but not close enough for him to pull me out or for me to get out.
Nothing. Thought maybe you'd like company." Short and sweet not the usual Edward.
No seriously. What is it?" He didn't come out here for nothing. I knew that much, because Bella didn't want him to leave.
I don't know. We haven't talked in a while and I want to talk." Simple enough so I got out of the water and sat on the edge of the dock, my feet dangling and my toes barely touching the water.
We talked almost till dawn. I swam laps while he ran home and hoped he wouldn't be in trouble. Two weeks later will be Renessme's Birthday!

Chapter 24- Birthday Presents

I went to the store and bought two Pomeranians. Nessie will get to chose the name for her dog and then I will pick will be able to pick my dog's name. I bought two bags of dog food, brushes, bowls, collars , and leashes. Its been a long time since I'd had a dog. I hid the dogs in my bathroom till it was time. We invited Jamie and Larx as well to the party. I had no idea what everyone else was getting for her birthday present.
Later during the afternoon "It's time to open presents Nessie!" Edward said. He hands her the presents he and Bella got for her.
Bella and Edward gave her colored pencils, coloring books, a scrap book, and tons of scraping book things to go with the scrapbook. Next up was Carsile and Esme. They got her an olive green dress and a black skirt. Emmett , and Rosalie, gave her a four wheeler. Rosalie wrapped the keys in a box and took a picture to put in the box. The four wheeler is parked in the back of the garage. So being the party ruiner Edward is he says" I think we'll be taking that present back to the store."
Oh, come on let the kid have a little fun" Emmett said trying to get his brother to let her keep it.
No, Edward is right. It's too dangerous. She could hurt herself." Jumps in Bella.
That conversation is ended as Alice and Jasper hand Nessie their presents. Alice got her a gray, black, and white plaid shirt. Jasper bought her a gold necklace engraved with Renessme . "Oh, it's beautiful Jasper! Thank you so much!" Nessie loves the necklace and demands for Jasper to help her put it on. The necklace looks gorgeous on her.
Jamie had wrapped the purse full of bracelets and earrings she got Renessme. Jamie gave her a card saying Happy Birthday Nessie! I'll take you to get your ears pierced tomorrow afternoon. ~Larx . "It sounds exciting! I always though the celebrities with earings in looked so pretty!." Nessie is thrilled with all her presents. Next up me!
Renessme, please follow me to the back by the stream please." Oh she's going to love the puppies! We all crowd out to the back door and there are the two puppies playing and splashing in the stream.
Are they mine? Kate this is so cool. A puppy for my birthday. Really?" She seems awestruck.
I nod my head and say " That one right there by the big rock is yours. You still need to name it. What are you going to call her?"
I have no idea. Oh my gosh Kate! This is terrific!" She's been working on her vocabulary. "Wait. I know I'll call her. Bailey.
That's a great name! The other one's mine. Her name is Lily." I picked a great present, she loves it.
Ok, Renessme say thank you to everyone for your gifts." Bella interjects.
Thank you all so much for your presents! I love them all." Nessie is still shocked has has a puppy.
Larx and Jamie left after they helped clean up. Nessie and I had work to do. First I had to teach her and the dogs the basics. I already house trained both dogs to Bella's relief. Next is for Bailey to learn her name. Nessie tries over and over to get the dog to respond to her new name. Finally she gives up. I hand her a milkbone and tell her to call Bailey again. This time she comes right away. Bailey runs off with the bone. I tell Nessie to call her name again, now that Bailey has finished the bone. Bailey knows her name! Practice is the key now. I hand Renessme Bailey's collar and tell her to try to put it on her. She needs to get used to wearing it. She manages to wrangle the puppy down to put on the collar. The collar is blue with sparkles going around it. Lily's collar is a pale green with sparkles. The only difference between the two puppies is their names and collars. Switching the puppies diets was fairly easy. I already had them both on the same puppy dog food. I tell nessie it's a big responsibility to take care of a dog. You have to let it outside, give it water and food, and play with the puppy.
I help Renessme move the bag of dog food, her dog's bowls, and leash back to the cottage. After I place a red absorbing carpet under the dog bowls that Bella picked out we take the dogs for a walk down the path. First I demonstrate how to attach the leash to the collar. I tell her how to stop the leash from letting the puppy go any farther. We walked the puppies down the path to the open field and back to the cottage where Edward and Bella are standing outside. i tell Nessie she has to make sure Bailey goes outside every other hour so she doesn't have an accident. I explain that if she steps outside with Bailey and stands by the door Bailey will stay close and not need to be put on the lease. If she ventures farther than you can't she her call her name. She's curious but frightened by little things and will come to the comfort of your voice. After Renessme goes inside Bella and Edward stop me on my way back to my room.
Kate! Will you please come stay a the cottage? We've never had a dog before. I've no clue what to do." Edward says.
Well if you insist. Come with me and I'll change and grab a few things." So he walks the rest of the way back with me and I grab Lily's bowl and the two brushes. I change into my sweatpants and hoodie that has Kate written on the back. Throw colored pencils, a coloring book, and my laptop into my bag. take out my contacts and put on my glasses. Grab a pillow of my bed and put my tennis shoes back on. Edward, Lily, and I walk back to the cottage in the dark. I stayed in the cozy living room where a fire was burning. I showed Nessie how to brush the puppies. We feed them dinner and let them out. taught her how to call her puppy back inside when she wonders further than you can see her. Later when Nessie was in bed I showed this to Edward and Bella. All through the nigh Edward, Bella, and I let Bailey and Lily outside to go to the bathroom.
