- Magma pets
With the release of Tuesday's news on Monday 14th December, TNT opened up the Magma Pool in the Magma Caves, and with it, the magma colour for all pets!

Mostly, when you visit the pool, you will see the notice:


I'm sorry, only those well-versed in the ways of Moltara are permitted to enter the Pool. Learn more and try again later.

But ocassionally, there are two other messages that the guard may say:


Welcome to Moltara's Magma Pool! You must be a true master in the ways of Moltara. One of your Neopets may have a dip in the Magma Pool.
Please select your Neopet to take a swim in the Magma Pool and be painted Magma.

Shh... look! The guard is sleeping. Maybe if you can sneak by him if you're very, very careful... Please select your Neopet to take a swim in the Magma Pool and be painted Magma.
The guard will sleep for 10 minutes at the same time each day. However, the times are unique to your account. So, for example, if you spot the guard asleep at 3:42am NST one day, then each day at that time, when you visit on the same account, you should find him should be sleeping.


Once your pet has gone for a swim in the pool, you cannot return to let another pet swim on that account for one week.


Magma pets can be transferred safely, but if they are pounded, they will change colour to red (that changed from being able to freely pound, late in the day on 16th Dec / early 17th Dec 2009)

Magma is not a Fountain Faerie Quest option, although it is possible to get magma from the Secret Laboratory Ray
