There were two very poor girls. There names were Kelly and her sister Katrina. They lived with their dad who was very sick and very poor. They worked for 12 hours a day for their dad's rich sister, Erin, who hated giving people money. She would scream at Kelly and Katrina who worked hard to do everything right. Erin's son, Austin, always gave them money when his mom wasn't around. But, one day, Erin caught him. This is when she decided to fire the girls.

Now the girls didn't know what to do. They didn't have any money because they didn't have a job and their dad was too sick to work. All the mean kids at school were teasing them and making fun of them for this. "Just you wait," Katrina yelled at them in anger, "one of these days you will regret ever making fun of us!" The girls left the school angirly and went home, only to find out that their dad was even sicker than before.

The girls called the doctor and he said he might die very soon!!! "Can't you do anything?" asked Kelly. "I'm afraid not," said the doctor. "But you're supposed to save people's lives!" shouted Katrina. Katrina was about to punch the doctor when Austin came and stopped her. "What the..." asked Austin puzzled. He saw the look on Kelly's face and understood. "I got it from here Doc," The doctor left. Katrina and Kelly both started crying and Austin tried to comfort them.

The next morning the girls didn't want to go to school because they didn't want to be away from their dad. "Please, go to school. I will be here when you get back," their dad said to them crying a little. The girls left for school reluctantly and were crying most of the day. It was hard for them to focus and what made it worse was all the mean kids making fun of them. They had no sympathy for Kelly and Katrina. At last the school day was over and the girls raced home, hoping they weren't too late. They ran into the house and saw Erin standing there.

Erin was crying and Austin looked shocked. Then they saw that they're dad's face was covered in a white sheet of cloth. This meant...DAD WAS DEAD!!!! Erin saw the girls and hugged them very tightly. "Dad's dead?!?!" Katrina whispered as Erin let go and Austin hugged her. "Yeah he passed away an hour after you went to school". Kelly was horrified. She was chanting "no" over and over again. Katrina wouldn't let go of Austin because she was in shock. Erin, "I've been so bad to you girls. I never should've treated you this way and because of my bad behavior, this happened.

Kelly just lost it then. "You're darn right this is all your fault!" she yelled to Erin. "If you wouldn't have worked us to death, then he would still be alive because we could have taken care of him! Because of you we hardly had any time to spend with him! Now he's gone and it is too late!" Kelly cried, and she ran out of the house. Erin looked confused and sad. She didn't know what to say. "Kelly wait! Come back!" Katrina called to her sister, but it didn't do any good.

Austin and Katrina ran after Kelly. Kelly was running really fast and then she tripped over a rock and fell. A boy who was watching this came to help her. He was helping her back up when Austin and Katrina came. So I see you've met my brother, Justin." Austin grinned. Katrina and Kelly looked at Austin and Justin. They looked nothing alike. Kelly had a confused look on her face and so did Katrina. "I had to go to boarding school 'cause I helped your dad once."

Kelly and Katrina just looked at each other, not knowing what was going on.Well could someone please explain?! The only thing I know is that your name is Justin and you have been to boarding school." Kelly stated, staring at him. "Okay, first I think we should head back to the house," Austin said to them. "Then we will explain everything," Justin informed them. "Well..." Katrina hesitated, "...okay I guess." Katrina didn't really want to go back to her house. She didn't want to face Erin again and have to see her dad the way he was. The group of four arrived at the house and walked inside.

Erin looked at the girls and then the boys. Erin then left the house still crying. Austin and Justin told the girls that Justin was adopted by their dad without Erin's permission. "She didn't like me because I wasn't related to her." said Justin quietly. "So when we we little, I threw a ball at our neighbor's house and a window broke. Then I ran away and Justin was the only one there." said Austin sorrowfully. "The neighbor told Erin and Justin was sent to boarding school because of me." The girls were shocked because they didn't know Austin could ever be this mean.

The girls just stood there, staring at Austin. "Austin, why-how could you?" Katrina asked him, in total disbelief. "Well I...I guess I was scared that I would get in trouble by my mom," Austin admitted, staring at the floor, "so I ran." "Well I wouldn't blame you, but then again I would for sending Justin to boarding school!" Kelly said to him. "I'm sorry. I should have told you girls this way sooner," Austin apologetically said. "Well, it's okay I guess. I just never knew I had another cousin!" Katrina exclaimed.

About that..." started Justin. "You're not our cousins. Erin is your dad's BFF" WHAT?!?!?" screamed Katrina and Kelly. The boys looked down because they were ashamed. "Sorry we didn't tell you." said Austin. RAWR" said Kelly laughing. Katrina then looked at Austin, smiling. "What?" "You've liked me since third grade then because..." Justin said quietly, "oooo". Kelly pinched Justin. She wanted to see what would happen.

Austin turned red in the face. Katrina was laughing. Kelly and Justin looked at each other with confused looks on their faces. "Why didn't you tell me you liked me silly?" "Because I thought you wouldn't like me back 'cause of Erin." This time Katrina turned red. "Well I like you...as a friend. I mean...I guess...I never thought of us..." Katrina turned to Kelly with a look of needing help. Kelly was watching and shook her head.

Katrina didn't need help though, because Austin gave her a quick hug, just to confirm that he liked her. Austin then looked all embarassed and quickly backed away. "Uh...sorry, I just thought that you might need a hug. Ya know, because of what happened and all today," Austin stated, talking about thier dad. "I...oh," Katrina said starting out happy, then getting sad, remembering what had happened. Kelly also remembered, and suddenly she got really sad and was about to cry.

So..." began Justin. "Wanna have dinner with me and Austin?" Kelly said, "No" and Katrina agreed. They said sorry and the boys looked very sad. "Uh...well...some other time," promised Katrina. Austin gave Justin the "we should leave now" look. "Well see ya around," said Justin. The girls nodded. After they left, they saw their dad's dead body and started crying again.

Why didn't he tell us?!" Kelly said in between sobs. "Who? And tell us what?" Katrain asked, then realized that she was talking about thier dad and why he didn't tell them about Erin. "Oh, I don't know," Katrina answered, now really thinking about it. "I'm going to bed," Kelly stated sadly, leaving Katrina alone. "No wait!" Katrina called to her older sister, "what are we going to do about..." Katrina didn't want to say it, so she just pointed to their dad. "Oh, well I guess we should call the doctor or something so he can like..." Kelly couldn't finish because she just started to cry...again. "I will," Katrina stated and she picked up the phone to call the doctor.

Katrina then screamed and Kelly came running from the bedroom. "What the..." Kelly began. She turned to where Katrina was staring at. AN INTRUDER!!Uh oh." said the girls. Just then, Austin and Justin came out of nowhere. The both did karate-flip-stuff at the intruder. The girls were just staring at the boys. "Remember the necklace I gave you?" asked Austin. Katrina looked at her neck and saw she was still wearing it. "Well..." began Austin. Katrina then demanded, "What?!?!". Austin replied "It can hear everything you say." "You heard all my secrets!" Katrina was crying now.

She ran into the bedroom and slammed the door. "Kat!" Kelly screamed for her sister to come back. She was about to go after her, but decided to turn to Austin instead. "What was that about?!" she asked him angirly. "And who are you?" she asked, turning to the inturder, not even giving Austin time to answer. "Whoa, you need to calm down," Justin said to her. "Calm down?! How am I suppose to calm down. After everything that happened today. I want answers," she said, and sat down in a chair, waiting for someone to speak.

The intruder opened his mask. He was a very handsome person. "Hi I'm from Hollywood, CA and I would like to make you guys famous!" Katrina came back and looked at the intruder shocked. "BTW I'm Lucas Crose." Katrina introduced herself, Kelly, and the boys. Justin saw Kelly staring at Lucas and was starting to get angry. "How do you know about us?" asked Kelly. Katrina kicked her in the leg and wispered, Why do you care??? He's from Hollywood. We're gonna be famous.

Uh, hello! It's just that..." Kelly stopped saying what she was saying and looked over at everyone. "Would you excuse us for a minute? We'll be right back," Kelly said, taking Katrina's arm and leading her into the bedroom. "What are you doing?" Katrina asked her sister. "What do you mean what am I doing? Can't I ask a guy a simple question as to why and how he knows about us?!" Kelly said. "Again, why do you care? He's from Hollywood! He wants to make us famous!" Katrina exclaimed, getting annoyed at her sister. "How do you know? He could just be saying that!" Kelly remarked. "Ugh, you are sooo lame!" Katrina said to her and walked out of the room.

Kelly followed Katrina, tiredly. Lucas looked at the girls. Kelly,HOW THE HECK DID YOU FIND OUT ABOUT US?!?" From Erin's daughter, Chelsy" Kelly && Katrina shouted "DAUGHTER!!!" at the same time. For as long as the could remember, Erin never mentionied she has a daughter named Chelsy. "Well I'll talk to you girls tomorrow." Lucas said pushing his hair back in a bandana. Kelly just stared at him like she had fallen in love.

Bye now." He said, and walked out of the house. Kelly was still staring in the direction he left. "Sooo..." Justin said loudly, trying to get Kelly's attention. Huh? Oh...you're still here." Kelly said, looking at him. "Yeah, I am. But uh, I guess I---we should get going," he said, motioning to Austin. "Yes, we probably should." Austin agreed. No!" Katrina yelled.I mean, don't leave yet." "Why?" Kelly, Justin and Austin all asked at the same time.Well---" "Are you scared?" her sister cut her off. "Scared?! NO! Why would I be scared?" Katrina asked, getting mad. "I don't know. Maybe because Dad is usually here and now..." Kelly trailed off. She could finish because she was getting sad. "Well...yeah." Katrina admitted. "I mean, that Lucas guy did just...break in." she added quickly, glancing at Austin.

Fine we'll stay" said Justin happily. Kelly was thinking about Lucas...Justin started to get angry. Katrina saw it was midnight and said they should all be going to bed. "We had a rough night." said Kelly once they were in bed. Kelly && Katrina shared a room since the house only had 2 bedrooms. Katrina was silent. "Kat?" Kelly whispered to her sister. "Huh, I guess she is asleep," she thought to herself. "I wish I could fall asleep." It was hard for her, because so much had happened that day. Kelly and Katrina's lives had practically changed...forever.

The next morning, Katrina was woken up by people talking. She quietly got out of bed, not wanting to wake up her sister, quick got changed, and walked out of the bedroom, only to find Justin and Austin talking to the doctor. "Hey guys" said Katrina softly. "Hey Kat!!!" screamed Austin. "Shhhhhh Kell's sleeping" Katrina said. "Nope I'm right here" Kell said behind Kat's ear which made her jump.

The doctor said that their dad wanted to be cremated. Katrina and Kelly were shocked. "What's cremation?" Katina asked. "It's where the person gets burned instead of buried" said Erin. Everyone turned to see Erin and her daughter Chelsy. Chelsy looked like an ugly brat in Katrina's opinion. "Look it's a younger version of Cruella" said Katrina loudly. The guys were laughing so hard they started to cry. Chelsy said "Atleast I don't live in this "house" with filthy, poor people" Katrina was angry.

Kelly saw that Katrina was about to hit Chelsy, so she stopped her. "Let go of me!" Katrina said angirly. "No. Let's not cause trouble," Kelly said. "Whatever," Katrina said, freeing herself from her sister's grip. "What are you doing here anyway?" Katrina turned to Chelsy and Erin. "We came here to help you girls plan out funeral arrangments," Erin answered. "Why?! You're not family!" Kelly informed her. "Or friends," Katrina added, glaring at Chelsy. "But, I was very close to your dad. We were friends," Erin stated. Now she was glaring at Katrina. "Well, we don't want your help," Kelly said to her. "Fine then. Although, you girls will need someone to look after you." Erin told them. "What do you mean by that?" Katrina asked her, resisting the ugre to hit her. "I mean, you will need a legal guardian. Someone over the age of 18 to---" "I am 18!" Kelly yelled, cutting Erin off. "And I can take care of my sister.

Yes mom I don't want them to stay with us" said Chelsy. That's when Katrina couldn't take it anymore. She slapped Chelsy so hard. Then she popped her right in the mouth. Blood was coming out of her mouth. Thats when Austin, Justin, and Lucas came. "Chelsy darling are you ok?" Lucas ran to Chelsy and hugged her. Austin and Justin were looking at Kelly so she'd tell them something. "She deserved it" said Kelly quietly. "Why?" said Lucas angrily. "Because she was being a brat" said Katrina angrily. Lucas glared at her and said "You.." Justin cut him off then. "Ok let's just CALM down guys".

This fanfic is called Dreams Can Come True. It is written by two best friends on Neo by the names of Kelly and Katrina. We have taken our time to write this fanfic so we appreciated it if you read it and neomailed us what you thought of it. It is similar to the movie, Cinderella but with differences.
