How To Make Banners For Your Mall

By: pb_dreamer

IMPORTANT

where ever there is a star, u need to put arrows.

Setting The Big Picture

Okay, so u start out with a code of one big image. This will be the image above all the links. I'll use the one from Love Life Mall for instance.

The big image can be at (width)387 by (height)182, or around there.

When coding it, it should look like this:
*Center* *img src=(image source here)*

If you want the image to take you to the mall itself when clicking it, the code should look like this:
*center* *a -disallowed_word- /b>=(mall location here)* *img src=(image source here)* */a*
-it should be centered so the images aren't off the side.-

The Clickables

These are the clickables, the little banners with different links to different shops.

These images can be at (width)150 by (height)75. You can put pictures and texts showing what category it is in the mall.

You have to decide, how many clickables in one row? I perfer to use three in one row. You can do more.

To make the clickables, 'clickable', you just make a link to it.

The coding should look like this:

*center* *a -disallowed_word- /b>=(category #1 location here)* *img src=(image for category #1 here)* */a**a -disallowed_word- /b>=(category #2 location here)* *img src=(image for category #2 image here)* */a**a -disallowed_word- /b>=(category #3 location here)* *img src=(image for category #3 image here)* */a* */center*
then all together, it should look something like this:
You repeat the process to make more rows.

The Textbox

You are finish making and coding your banner for your mall. Then you decide you want other members to be able to use your banner...but how you ask?

All you have to do is add the code *TEXTAREA* in front of it, and another code */TEXTAREA* after it, to close it.

IMPORTANT!

It is very important to CLOSE the textbox! Remember to close your textbox, the last *TEXTAREA* should have a / in front of it. Should look like this:

*/TEXTAREA*

If you don't close the textbox, everything after the 1st textarea would be in your textbox, creating a BIG and CONFUSING mess! So remember to CLOSE YOUR TEXTBOX!

Good Luck!

Hope I was a big help to you! Good Luck Banner Making! :)
