It's mid-August and this is the earliest you've woken up in weeks. You awkwardly lug your instrument to that mecca of your high school, the music room. You playfully punch and insult your friends from last year and make plans to confuse the freshmen. Sauntering over to the gridiron, you manage to catch up with this year's drum major, Sherilyn. Oh, I didn't see you guest. It's nice to see you again. Are you planning to audition for section leader this year? She gathers from your silence that you do. The director's holding auditions soon. You have to write an application and everything, though. Don't worry. It's not half as bad the application for drum major. Here's an app.

DRILL

Sherilyn suddenly yanks the paper back. I'm sorry! I know that we're in the same year, but I forgot what instrument you play! Auditioning is more competitive for certain sections, so this is your chance to switch instruments. I know that you managed to get a spot in marching band our freshman year, so it shouldn't be too hard to switch instruments. The director takes in leadership and discipline in to consideration, not just playing skill. She begins to list the sections with open auditions and awaits your selection.

Audition

Rules

The director is very picky about applications, Sherilyn tells you as she hands you the application of your choice. Be careful in filling this out so that you don't miss your chance!

Only audition for a spot when applying is open! If there are no spots, there's no place for you to audition from. Not all requests will be open at the same time. Check your drill to see which spots you can apply for.

Anyone on-site can apply EXCEPT petpage applications, about me pages, and guild webbies.

You will not be granted a chance to audition unless you link back before, during, and after your evaluation. Your site must also be prepared for the review NOT on revamp or under construction. Failure to do so will result in a cut.

You will be contacted when your application has been accepted, and when your audition has been evaluated. Please do not bother me unless your review has taken more than a week.
