Dear Diary,

I'm writing this in my new room, on my brand new desk. Sunny (my current owner) gave me you to write in, she says that writing is a way to discover yourself, I just think she's off her coconut, but I may as well try. I guess I should tell you about myself, I am a beautiful snow peophin, and well, as Sunny says, a foster. Basically it means that Sunny is going to allow me to stay with her till she finds me a new owner that loves me and will take care of me. Funny, huh? Sunny has always been, well, silly, I guess. She is a human girl with brown hair and green eyes. She also has a big sense of humor. Which can sometimes be a bad thing, like when she turned our neohome's air conditioning off, to see if I would melt. She takes care of all of us though, and cooks breakfast and sends us to school everyday. Which kind of brings me to the subject of my housemates. Who are, really, quite crazy.

The first member of the so called family is Rita, who really defines the term Merridellen she is a green ixi, who has a love of trickery, and has the amazing ability to make vines grow out of the ground. She is somehow related to Sophie, and was evidently raised by Illusen the earth faerie. Rita has pulled some really funny tricks though. Even if she was raised by "goody-two shoes" Illusen. (Don't tell her I said that though.) Once, she tied Sunny to a chair, gagged her and then left her in my closet. I had quite a fright when I went to find my scarf.

Iriz is the other member of the "family" she is a reporter, and can be quite grumpy sometimes. She is from Mystery Isle, and has something to do with that lost city that is located there. But I don't know that much about it though. Iriz is more of the serious one. She prefers to keep things neat and clean, (if you looked in her room, you wouldn't find a speck of dust.) and is more of a busybody. But Sunny loves her anyway.

Story Requests

Yes, you saw the header there, story requests, I know that you are puzzled, so let me explain, tons of neopians have a hard time coming up with a design (or story) for their pets, so here, some people can well, get some ideas, or request a whole design! For Example, if one person loves to write, but just can't get the process started, I just take a look at the pet they want the design for, and give them a paragraph like so:

EX: Rita, is a thief who loves to steal, she will steal anything that attracts her eye, a great archer, Rita uses her bow for many uses, not just for target practice.

See? It still gives them lots of room to add more to the story, like where Rita is from, what other things she likes, her friends etc. But, what about if you really really really, want to make the design yourself, but just need some starting ideas, I could do some thing like this:

EX: Rita - Thief/Archer/Tree-dweller.

Or, if you stink at writing I could just make the whole design. Got it?

Factors

Ok, now I want to list some of the things that help me make a design for your pet.

Color: I can not say that your pet lives in a volcano if the pet is Maraquan, now can I? Color plays an important role in the design of your pet, so please make sure that if you request a design that the pet is the color you want it to be. If you have plans to paint that pet a different color or it is a lab rat please tell me.

Customization: Customization plays a HUGE role in what the design will be, I want to make sure that if I give a pet a design that they can look the part as well, whether the pet can be customized with NC or not also plays a role as well.

Name: Yes, the name too has an effect, if the pet has a cute name, more than likely it would have a cute personality, the name is very important for a design.

Species: I'm not going to put a long rant here as to why, but species is important too.

Rules

Yes, rules. I hate to have them but I have to. *sigh* Ok, let's get on with this.

1. I am in no way shape or form, asking for payment of any sort, I do this becuase I love to write, so please don't think that you have to 'repay' me with gifts or something. TNT doesn't really like that. :)

2. You do not HAVE to use the design I give you, these are suggestive designs, which means that if you don't like it, I'm not going to force you to use it. :)

3. You may edit, change or rewrite the design I give you.

4. You DO NOT have to credit me, I would like for you to, so that others will be able to come here. But, if you steal one of my short stories up there, let's me just say two words. NO MERCY!

F&Q

Q: Why do you do these story reqests?

A: Mainly becuase I love to write, but I have seen so many people trading or adopting out pets they can't get ideas for, so I created this page so they can get ideas. It's not that I dislike adopting out pets (I adopt some out myself), but it's the trading that irks me.

Q: Why do you not ask for credit on your reqests?

A: I have a few reasons, first, becuase I am not doing all of the work. I know you are puzzled so let me explain. Though I may make a design or start someone off, the way I write, the person I write for still has to fill in some of the blanks. I write a basic sum-up of what I think their pet is like, they then have to take the design into their own hands.

Let me put this another way, when an artist draws a picture of their pet, they know just what to do. They know the pet's personailty. So, for example, if I were to draw Rita, (my awesome green ixi) I would draw her in a green dress, with long green hair, holding a wooden staff, with a merry twinkle in her green ixi eyes. (She loves green, can't you tell? ) But, let's say that someone else wanted me to do a drawing of their pet, with only a discripion of what that pet looks like. I couldn't do it as well as I did drawing Rita. Why? Becuase I do not know the pet as well. I could draw it, but it would not be the same. It's the same with my writing, I am giving your pet a personailty, but my ability to do that is limited since I do not know your pet as well as you do. So, I write in a way that allows you to easily modify the design to your pet so it reflects who they are.

Q: Where do you get your inspiration for your writing.

A: Mainly from three places, nature, music and my own thoughts. I live in a very pretty place, I have a big yard, that has lots of trees and plants growing, so mainly go out there to get inspired. I also get inspired by music, I love music a lot, and when I hear certain songs, they give me ideas for new stories. Some lyrics inspire me as well, like this one,

Sometimes I sleep,
sometimes it's not for days,
the people I meet,
always go their seprate ways,

I always get great ideas from music as well as nature. So, there you go.
