This page is all about me,Ryu. Yes,I am a human being,not a pet... Why make a page about yourself,rather than your pet,you ask? Well,I believeI've dedicated enough pages to my lovely pets,so now it's time for a page all about myself,Ryu!
About Ryu's Personality:
And,yes,that picture I drew of myself is actually what I look like,generally speaking.It's the second-best to a photo,and I can't use that,due to TNT's rule. =.=
Well,how do I begin? Hmm..well,people say I'm a bit eccentric,which,by defenition, is 'out of the ordinary;whimsically so'. I tend to make people burst out laughing at the random comments I spit out,and I tend to think a bit..on the abstract side,I suppose. Perhaps these factors are why my friends consider me 'eccentric'.-laughs- .
Another aspect of my personality is indepenence- 'give me liberty or give me death' is definately my nindo.I'd rather be writing or sketching alone,than be with family or friends.I don't specifically care much for organized sporting events;My form of exercise is running or walking by myself,as I don't enjoy competition,and irritatingly officious coaches.
Now,don't get me wrong,I relish being around my friends,however,I naturally am happier by myself,as that is the only time I can think however I wish,and form opinions without being battered by those of others..
I also have a love for art,and I'm easily affected by what a picture is trying to say.This makes me about the only person of my age to rather enjoy long trips to the art museum. I must mention that I take great pleasure in drawing, myself.My favorite style of art to draw with is anime,or 'japanese cartooning'. I adore the simplified emotional -disallowed_word- as of 2007):Fifteen
Passions: Drawing~Writing~Freedom~Peace and Quiet/Solitude.
Favorite form of Art: Other than anime, I'd have to say,impressionist,as it displays how the particular artist veiws the world..

Question:Do you Know japanese? 斑入り
As amatter of fact,yes,I do know some japanese,as I am currently learning the language,slowly but surely.=) Shimazu.
Question:What do you think about love?
Love? As in the whole fantasised 'true love' idea? Odd question,but,I consider 'true love' some sort of unreachable fairy tale,forced down our throats like Santa Clause,or the 'Easter Bunny'.Something we are taught from a young age exists,and is attainable.In my opinion,there is no such thing as this fairy tale called 'love',though that,my friend,is only my opinion.
Do you have any 'real' pets?
Yes,I do in fact. =) I have a collie,which I received as a thirteenth birday gift from my parents. Her name is 'Ruby';I called her that because her birthstone is the Ruby,seeing as she was born in July,another twist is that I recieved her on a Tuesday,which reminded me of the resturant 'Ruby Tuesdays',heh,heh. Generally,she's an awesome dog,always eager to please and happy to see me,as most good dogs are. =) Here is a little pic of her:
Question:Do you like 'Pokemon'?
Ah,you must be asking that because of the plush pika-themed cap that I have on in my sketch. The answer depends on what you consider 'liking Pokemon' If you mean still actively collecting the cards,and regularly watching the series,not exactlty.You see,Pokemon was my first anime love since I was ten years old,and I'll never let go of it. However,being fifteen,and that being five years ago,I no longer am a crazed fanatic. Yet,I do still have a very fond attatchment to the whole idea of it,with every whimsical character,and the hilarious,yet often juivenile plots,and sometimes,when I need a quick escape from the pressures of teen life,I'll dig through my closet,and emerge myself in the little box of cards I had collected over my younger childhood days-Pokemon will always be a little peice of my childhood.
