Remeber those "Choose Your Own Adventure" books everyone used to read? If not, they're pretty simple.
They're basically a book where you get to choose some aspects of the characters actions, often there are a few "bad" endings and one "good" ending.
As you read the story, there will be portions where the main character has a decsion to make, and you have a couple choices. Once you choose what you want the character to do, you go to the specific page you're directed to.
You repeat the process until you come upon an ending.
That's basically what I'm doing here. :D
So, once every week, or two, I'll write out a pick your own adventure, and you'll get to play your way through!
Enjoy {:Face Forward. members!
Oh, and this is pretty important!
If you choose an ending that's GOOD, you get 5 points! If you choose an ENDING that's bad, you only get 2! But everyone gets points for trying!

Rules The Story! (:
Rules
Alright, the rules are pretty simple!
1. No reading ahead! I'm not going to put the complete endings up.
2. Neomail me when you get to an ending! You'll know when you get to one because it'll say something like: "Mwah ha ha ha! You've made it to the end! But is it good, or is it bad? Neomail Erika to find out!" (The word neomail will be a link to neomail me!)
3. No asking each other what the other person chose. What fun is that? Nada! And it's cheating!
4. You can only complete each story once!
5. Most important, HAVE FUN! (:
The Story! (:

A faint scratching could be heard as Bleu worked on his homework. He rather enjoyed writing for english, but, he soon came upon some writers block. He could not think of anything that would flow with what he'd already written. His princess, Anita, was trapped in her father's castle, and he could think of nothing new and daring for the prince to do, only cliche faerie tale endings. Finding himself terribely upset, he decided to go on a walk to clear his head. "Nothing works better on solving writers block than going on a walk, a mini adventure of you own!" He mumbled to himself. "And it is quite a beautiful day! Yes, yes, a walk is the perfect idea.." He let his thought trail off as he took his first steps outside. The sky was a brillant shade of blue, bright and clear as could be. A gentel breeze ruffled the many bright, colorful flowers, and the emerald green leaves lining the tree tops. The scent of grass was strong and soothing. Slowly and contently, Bleu walked walked down the road; his house was on a dead end so there was only one, safe, way for him to go. He soon came upon a fork in the road; one path lead left, into a lush, warm wood. The other lead right, through a grassy, green field. Bleu stopped and pondered which way to go. "Left? Right? Left? Right?"
Go down the path on the left, into the wood.
Go down the path on the right, into the field.
The Woods!

Looking to the left and the right one last time, Bleu decided to go through the woods. The chirping of the birds and the shade from the trees drew him in. Everything about it was peaceful. He'd been through the woods many times, but somthing about it seemed more luring than noraml. Was it the extra bright green leaves? The sweet scent wafting through the woods? Or was Bleu just craving a walk in the woods? He couldn't tell, but he knew the woods were the right way to go. Soon, his head started to clear and ideas starting popping up in his head. "He could have to kill the father to get to the princess!" He mumbled to himself, "No. No. That's too depressing..." Spotting a large rock, he decided to take a seat; he was getting tired. A gental breeze blew through the air and Bleu smiled. "I know! The prince will have to sneak into the castle, pretend to be a servent, and trick his way to the princess! Now...to think of a good escape..." Bleu closed his eyes and lifted his head to the sky. "I know what you could do!" Squeaked a little voice. "Who's there?!" Bleu demanded. "Me!" The voice cried out again. "Show youself!" Bleu looked around and around. Soon, he heard a quite flapping sound, and then he saw a Faerie Harris.

The Harris looked at Bleu, "I can give you my idea, but there will be a price for you to pay! Would you like to hear my idea?" She asked. Bleu looked at her, "Only if you tell me the price first," he demanded, smiling to himself. The Harris smiled, "I want the top middle piece of the lab map. It's the only piece my owner is missing! Promise me that, and I'll give you an amazing story idea!"
Promise her the piece and listen to her idea.
Polietly decline her offer.
Start Over!
You've decided to start your story over! Is that the right choice?
Mwah ha ha ha! You've made it to the end! But is it good, or is it bad? Neomail Erika to find out!
Yes!

Bleu looked at her thoughtfully; he knew he had that piece at home, and he had no use for it. He liked how he was. "Okay, deal!" The Harris smiled and quietly laughed. "I will tell you my idea, but you must live it out!" Bleu looked at her, shocked, too stunned to do anything or defend himself. "Bippty, Boopity, send Bleu into his story! Don't let him out 'till he arrives at the end of his tale! He must marry his princess in the center of the city! Bippty, Boopity!" The Harris chanted. Bleu looked down at himself in shock, his skin was getting clearer, and the woods around him were changing! Her spell was real! It was no joke! Bleu fell to the ground in tears. "What have I done!? This isn't what I asked for!" He lifted his head up and looked around, tears still streaming down his face. The grass around him was green, but not as bright as his grass was. The path was dirt, much like the one he was used to, only it was narrower, with wagon tracks dug into it. The trees were well over two-hundred feet high, just like he'd written, and the sky was a pale blue, just like he'd written. Bright, large, butterfly fluttered by him, each one's wingspan four or five inches long. He'd written that too. He was in his own written world, dressed like his prince, unsure what to do next.
Try to save the Princess of course!
Go to the city to find a witch to send him home.
Save the Princess!

Sighing, Bleu stood up. "I might as well save the princess like I was told to do," He mumbled. This, of course, was not what he had had in mind! He'd just wanted to clear his mind with a walk, and now, here he was, in his story! Everything seemed to bo watching him as he walked in the direction of the castle. The weather was nice and calm, just like at home. He almost felt like he was at home. Soon, Bleu found himself lost. He couldn't remember which way was what. Frowning, he noticed a path off to his right, leading into a field.
Give Up.
Go down the path on the right, into the field.
Stay!
You've decided to stay in your city! Is that the right choice?
Mwah ha ha ha! You've made it to the end! But is it good, or is it bad? Neomail Erika to find out!
Find a Witch!

Crossing his fingers, Bleu stood up and turned down the path. He knew there'd be witches in the city, which he could see in the distance. He'd written his story with many witches. After four long hours of walking, Bleu took his first steps into the city. And, lo and behold, there was a witch standing not twenty feet from him. "Excuse me!" he called out to her, "Is there any way you could make me a spell to send me to my house?" The witch grinned. She wasn't one of those ugly hags everybody always writes about, oh no! She had long, shiny, curly, red hair. The red hair framing her face made her green eyes pop. Her long green dress flattered her body perfectly. Bleu made all his witches beautiful. "Of course!" she exclamined, smiling, "Come in and I'll make it for you really quick!" She mixed a ton of ingredents together in a culdron. "Once you take this, you will be sent home forever. You will never be able to return to this world. But, if you don't drink it, you could choose to stay here and live out your destiny! Choose wisely!" she cautioned, handing Bleu the potion.
Drink It! You wanna go home.
Stay! You have a destiny here!
Giving Up!
You've decided to give up! Is that the right choice?
Mwah ha ha ha! You've made it to the end! But is it good, or is it bad? Neomail Erika to find out!
No!

Bleu looked at her, something seemed fishy about her. "Thank you for the offer, but I don't think I can accept. It's my story and I think I should do it on my own. Thank you so much though!" He smiled cautiously at the Harris. "As you wish," she said, smiling gently. Bleu thanked her again and stood up. Yawning, he said "I think I'm going to go home. It's getting late, do you need a place to stay?" The Harris smiled. "No I don't. Thank you for the offer. Shall we?" Bleu nodded and lead the way out of the woods and back to his house, under the lowering sun. They soon arrived at his house, and he showed her to the guest bedroom. "I hope you find your stay comfertable!" he said as she walked in. "Of course, thank you," she smiled and Bleu walked away. He heard the soft snick of the door closing as he made his way into the den. He looked at his paper, distressed. He'd forgotten his idea, and could barely remember what his story was about. He read through it quickly and sighed. He could still think of no proper ending.
Start over with a new story.
Sleep on it.
The Field!

Feeling the breeze run through the air, Bleu decided to turn right, down into the field; the woods would just be too chilly with the breeze. Smiling as the suns rays beat down on him, Bleu walked down the dirt path. It was such a peacful day, even the flowers seemed to know it; Bleu felt like they were smiling at him. The feeling made him smile. As he walked, an idea came to him. "The prince could ask the King to hold a ternament for the princess's hand in marriage! Then, he could have his bottled faerie bless him! That's how I'll save the Princess!" Beaming with joy, Bleu walked over to a tree and pulled out a scrap sheet of paper. He then scribbled down his idea. When he was content with his idea, he sat down, his back up against the trunk of the tree. Bleu smiled. the sun was shining gaily on his face and the breeze was gently blowing him in face. It was calm and relaxing. The green grass shone in the light, and the birght, colorful flowers stood out against the bright green. The field was calm and beautiful, and Bleu had it all to himself. Feeling much too content, Bleu drifted off to sleep. He stayed asleep for two hours, and only woke up because the wind was picking up; it was no longer cool and gentle, it was now chilly and strong. Bleu stood up and looked down the path in both directions. The field looked different, and he couldn't remember which way he'd come from! A frown crossed his face, he didn't know which way to go!
Go Left.
Go Right.
Left.

Bleu shrugged and turned left. Sooner or later he'd find his way back. He'd see a sign or something that would lead him home. Still a little tired, and bored of his surroundings, he begain to hum his favorite tune. Time was moving too slowly for him. He just wanted to know where he was. The grass was tall, and the path was getting smaller. As he continuted to walk, he realized that it wasn't the path getting smaller, the plants were taking it over. "Great," he mumbled, keepin a weary eye out for posion ivy. He didn't want to get it in an unfamilar area. That would just stink. The sky was slowly growing darker, and Bleu was getting cold. He should have been more careful and not let himself fall asleep. He knew better than to fall asleep outside, away from his house! He kicked a rock and grumbled about how dumb he'd been. Soon, he came upon a fork in the road. He sighed. He didn't know where he was! He didn't know what to do!
End the story here,
Mwah ha ha ha! You've made it to the end! But is it good, or is it bad? Neomail Erika to find out!
-Or-
Give Up.
Right.

Bleu shrugged and turned right. Sooner or later he'd find his way back. He'd see a sign or something that would lead him home. His hearted pounded in his chest as he walked; he knew where he was! Suddendly, the grass seemed greener, the flowers brighter and prettier, and everything seemed alright! He'd never let himself fall asleep away from home, well, outside, again! He'd learned his lesson! As he made his way home, he hummed his favorite tune to himself. Time passed by much faster as hummed. He could soon see his house on the horizion. Beaming, he picked up his pace. "Man is it good to see my house!" he exclaimed. He now knew how his price would save the princess! He just needed to get home and write it. He was excited beyond belief. Wehn he arrived at his house, he raced in and started writing the ending to his story.
Mwah ha ha ha! You've made it to the end! But is it good, or is it bad? Neomail Erika to find out!
Drink it!
You wanna go home, so you drink the potion! But is that the right choice?
