Are you getting bored with Neopets? Do you log on just to do your dailies, and play the same handful of games everyday? Want to get out of your daily rut and make some friends along the way? Then join us for a game of fun and adventure! We call ourselves Premium Survivor! Premium Survivor was created over 3 years ago by Kitoriley, another bored player who was looking to put a new twist on Neopets. It quickly caught on and 10 versions later it's still alive and kicking. Kit still checks in from time to time, but the game is now run by her 3 successors, roocee, morquarwen and dragonrider88. Keep reading to find out if Premium Survivor is for you!

First a few fast facts about the game

• This game will last up to 12 weeks, this mainly depends on how many players sign up.
• THERE ARE NO PRIZES IN THIS GAME!!! Only the title of being the sole survivor.
• This is a game of survivor ... we are looking to find only one. That means you have almost a 100% chance of being voted off.
• 95% of this game is played on a private forum so teams can have a private place to chat and work on team challenges.
• 5% of this game is done through webmail. You must have a valid e-mail address. We have decided that being Premium is no longer required.

If you're wondering how this works, here is a basic rundown on what we do:

• Once you have signed up you will be placed on a tribe.
• Each week you will have a team challenge. It will be something like naming your team, coming up with a banner, or working on a scavenger hunt together. The challenges can get pretty involved and require teamwork.
• Each week you will have Neo Challenges. This consists of three or more neogames. The top players in each neogame will be awarded extra points.
• Many weeks there will also be a Neo Bonus Challenge. In which you usually have to get over a certain score in a neogame to get the points. Or solve some sort of puzzle.
• Each week we also like to throw out other random games for bonus points. They are completely random and are yet another way to make the game playable by any and all and not just people that are really good gamers.
• Each week we then tally up the scores and award the top tribes immunity. All the other tribes must vote off one or more players in a tribal council. This is done in private just like on the TV show. We have ways to ensure it is private.
• If you are voted off, you will go to Cast Away Island. There you can work to try to get back to your tribe so you can stay in the game!

Common Questions:

• What if I have to leave town/have a huge test/have company/ etc etc? -- You can take a one week vacation during the game but only once.
• Do I have to join a guild or leave my guild? -- No.We are not a guild so you can stay in whatever guild you are currently in.
• Can I help you run things or be on the staff -- If you have played in a prior round you can apply for a staff position. Or Ask about becoming a Score Checker.
• Is there anyway to make NPs or prizes from this game or by being staff? -- No we really like our accounts and want to keep them.
• Is Neopets going to be mad that I am playing this game? -- We had gotten permission from TNT back when Donna and Adam ran the site. Since it's come under new ownership it seems they have gotten more strict with their rules, but we believe since all you are doing is playing their games, you are not violating any of their rules.
• How much time does it take? -- I will tell you up front it will take quite a bit of time. This is a commitment, and not one to take lightly. To make it far in this game you will have to put a lot time and effort into it.
• How are teams picked? -- We try to spread players out evenly by putting newbies with veteran players, awesome players with not so good players. But you will only be placed on a tribe after you are familiar with the game.
• Do I have to live in the United States? -- No We have players from all over the World. If you are in another country Please let me know.
• What if I am going to be gone for 2-3 days? -- All challenges are 5-7 days long so if you miss a couple of days it will be alright.
• Do you have an age limit? -- Yes. In following the COPPA law, you must be 13 years or older.
• Are there any other benefits to playing besides winning a title? -- Yes! The Biggest one would be the friends you will make. But you also have the chance at winning avatars and trophies!
• In the eleven versions they have picked up 712 avatars and 159 new trophies.

I finally gave in to temptation and joined v5 premium survivor. Am I glad I did? Well besides not seeing the sun, feeling fresh air on my face, eating a normal meal for 16 weeks with my family.......of course I am LOL I have made numerous new friends who I adore and love, I look at neopets differently now and I earned some game avatars I thought I would never get! Premium Survivor has been the best 16 weeks EVER. Made tons of great friends, had tons of fun roleplaying, chatting, and playing games. Sure it was a lot of hard work, and sheer torture by TT, but the things i have learned about myself made it all worth while. it doesnt matter if you are the BEST gamer, or the worse gamer....just being apart of a team is what its all about Teanque

It was a dark and stormy night. The trees were howling in the wind, and I knew something huge was going to happen to my ever dwindling enthusiasm on Neopets.
I was cowering behind a palm tree when all of the sudden, a huge ray of light appeared and KIT's hand grabbed me out of my pool of dispair, to rescue me from the dank bowels of Neopian boredom. I emerged through the portal to the Premium Survivor island chain, to discover that I indeed WAS a great gamer, I actually COULD win trophies, there WERE other people that liked Neopets as much as I did, who I could not only tolerate being around, but who also become some of the best friends I have met in a good long while. kara_thrace

C'mon! You KNOW you want to be voted off to get the full experience of Castaway Island! You get your own hammock to sleep in and there's a beach nearby. Premium Survivor opened a new door to Neopia for me. I came into it hoping to make new friends and will leave with new friends, a renewed interest in the site, game tips, plot help, even a few avs and trophies!

Premium Survivor put new life into neopets. Before I joined, I was bored, cranky, upset, and annoyed. Now, I'm happy, joyful, (still bored) and I love it!

I think the game is great for a few reasons, first you get to know some really great people you probably wouldn't just running around neopia, second you get challenged to play games, and by wanting to win survivor, you end up with great scores, and avys you might not have got otherwise. I think it's been a great way to make neopoints with the challenges from the games we play each week. Also a great way to work toward the top gamer avatar.
