My app for Asrathiell.

Note: I'm a rambler and am used to over the top lengthy applications. This will have to do.

What do you enjoy doing on the site?
I mainly enjoy coming up with new characters, sketching (occasionally, I'm really only amateur), and playing games. I love my pets very much to the point where they "haunt" me. My two original permies C.K. and Lashikee are sort of the two extreme sides of me, with me being the neutral, and when I was younger they also were my imaginary friends. (But don't judge me for that, seriously, can you honestly say you've never talked to yourself? XD) I love writing stories to death and that is one of the main reasons Neopets is so awesome to me. It serves as a muse for fun side stories and projects when I'm not working on my books ;)

What account would my pet go on and why?
Pets that I own usually attach themselves to certain accounts, for no apparent reason sometimes. I'm not entirely sure which account I'd want him on (seeing as Wishes carries my walk around pets and LKx is my fave account, even though it's a side) but I'm thinking shadesoflavender, and not just because of his shady appearance. On that account is Unlikes the Gelert, who is the Legend of Creation. Most of the Legends will be kept on this account (with the exception of a foster for labbing) and also, I think it's important that he's here because he meets Unlikes in his particular story. That account is logged on to every day.

What are your (brief) plans for my pet?
Well, mainly my plans revolve around the stories and characters of my pets. Asrathiell's story is that he is one of many immortal beings that have roamed Neopia for millions of years, that each possess a certain kind of magic. Some examples are the Legend of Petpets, my Baby Yurble, and the Legend of Creation, Unlikes, who created all the other Legends. I also have a side story I might write called the Legend of Blue Fire, but I don't own the pet that is the main character of that story; it doesn't exist. I have an idea for the Legend of Charity, when I find the right pet. Asra is the Legend of Desires. He resides in dark places, mainly woods and forests, but like the other Legends, wanders. He carries a large staff that glows wherever he goes and can use magic to create fluorescent light. He lures people in offering them their greatest desires for a simple "trade". He is very persuasive, and this often convinces them into trading for something that they regret, but all of his trades are final. Asra is a bit of a sadist, and is amused by, in a way, playing God. He cares for no one but himself. I hope to write his story into a series. I also will design him a lookup, and you can see examples by going to either Unlikes or Gangrayel's lookups. I will also customise him, and he'll probably look a little like this:


What do you like most about my pet?
His name: Asrathiell. Something about his name attracted me to him (probably the fact that it starts with an A, like mine), even though I was only looking to see if you had any Kacheeks (which you didn't T_T). I'm not a dragon person, at all, or a wolf person, or a horse person, or a mainstream go with the crowd and adopt the rare Draiky kinda person, and him being a Draik is a little bit of a turnoff for me, to be entirely honest. But I do like his colour and could see him zooming through the forest at night, hiding in the treetops, so I'll get over it.

1. I love Neopets.
I have played Neopets since I was 7 and it has been in my life since I was 5. And still to this day I talk to my computer, wish I could work for Neopets, colour colouring pages, spend hundreds of my own dollars in merch (my ma refuses to "feed my demon addiction" any more), dream of going to Comic Con, and support TNT 110% no matter what they do. I don't think you'll find a more addicted person, and if you do, then I'll be ashamed to call myself the number one fan.

2. I don't trade. At all.
Never could get into it. But you can be assured that he's not going anywhere near the trading ring. If anything ever happened, he'd be adopted out in my Adoption Agency.

3. I don't see myself quitting any time soon.
The last time I attempted a quit it lasted less than three months and my pets haunted me the whole time. They kept showing up as cameos in my writing and that finally got creepy enough to come back and vow to never do that again XD

4. I'm a writer.
I'll immortalize his character forever in my writing.

1. Like I said, I don't like Draiks.
Why give a pet to someone who doesn't like them?

2. I can't draw Draiks.
I can draw (amateurly), but I can't draw quad or anything dragony or lizardy. The last time I drew a Draik I vowed to never draw one again DX Also, I don't do the beauty contest. Not my thing, and I'm not gonna say it is and lie.

3. I'm lazy.
So I don't have huge petpages for each pet. The sites I do run are low maintenance and easy to update. I do have a goal of getting all my lookups up and getting stories published in the NT, but it takes time and I have the attention span of a goldfish on a sugar rush.

4. I'm a bad saver.
So I can't train him to mega high stats, can't buy him multi-million neopoint items, and can't give him a fabulous crosspaint.
