Plot
In the near future, a scientific era swept over the world bring new technologies here and there. But in America, the scientists had invented something never seen before. Something people had dreamed about many a time yet never figured out how it would work.
Genetically engineered robots or in other words, robots that had minds of their own. They could move, talk, even fight. But one scientist, one involved in the military, thought he could put these robots to us by putting them into the military. Making them combat robots. He mass produced these robots making them by the thousand in a factory giving them various shapes and abilities. Some were able to fly while others were a skeletal version of a teddy bear. Others were giant mechs, and other no larger than a full grown Labrador.
Then, the robots really did developed a mind of their own. They decided, that they wanted to make the world their own and kill off all humanity. Now these robots weren't normal. Instead of the common explosives that you would think they had, they were equipped with radioactive and sometimes nuclear ammo.
The droids rebelled and spread through out the world destroying what may come. Within months the population of the world was cut down by 8/10.
Anyone that survived one of these enormous bombings were very lucky. And some of them started to notice strange things happening to them. They had special …abilities. Especially in the city of San Francisco…
With the world in total disarray, those still on their feet have either sided with the droids for protection or lust of power or they have sided with those against the droids.
So… now it's the droids versus what's left of humanity and the world as we knew it.
Setting
It has been one year since the start of the destruction. Attacks have slowed down and San Francisco is a mess. Once glorious buildings are destroyed beyond recognition and even the great golden gate brigde lies in pieces, parts of it fallen to the bay below other parts barely balances over the water.
Survivors and droids are scattered throughout the area. Most survivors are scattered throughout the city living in any place that is safe and/or hidden. Yet some choose to live in Muir Woods to the north, where the density of the forest is as great as ever. Yet although hiding places there are great so is the number of mutated animals.
Throughout San Francisco abandoned cars, buildings, litter, and battle remnants scatter the streets of San Francisco.
The city literally looks like a nuclear bomb has blasted the city apart.
Electricity isn't very reliable nowadays, most electrical sites were destroyed in the bombings and if you have electricity you would be considered, 'rich'. Many appliances and electronics necessary for survival have been rigged to run of of solar energy or batteries.
There are small hidden places around the city where people can buy supplies and weapons or even get repairs down if needed, and one of the more popular and reliable ones is simply called 'the Shoppe'. Tis located downtown hidden safely underneath an old bank. Although most money has no value these days to buy parts and supplies, bartering has become a tool of the trade once again.
Water is also something precious. It is sold/bartered in different types. Type One to Ten, type on being the cheapest and of not-so-good-quality, and type ten being the most expensive and purest of the ten types.

Droids
There are many types of droids around. The three most found droids there are aerial droids, mech droids, and scout droids. All droids run partially off of solar energy but since they are genetically engineered, they are partially living.
Aerial droids are the droids that basically cover the air. They drop bombs anywhere they think should be destroyed. However aerial droids are few in number and don't usually engage in physical combat. They can be anywhere from the size of a small car (mainly aerial machine gun types) or the size of an airplane (mainly bombers).
Mech droids are mainly the type of droids that fire huge shells from large, slow moving tank-size droids. They are very hard to destroy due to almost impenetrable armor although one of the week spots on them is the joints where their wheels or legs connect to their main body.
Scout droids vary in size and often have varied shapes, anything from the skeletal form of a teddy bear or a human shaped mass of mechanics. They are much quicker than aerial and mech droids in speed and thinking. They are probably the most intelligent of the three major droids and are more commonly found and battled among the three.
In addition to these droids there are also other types of less violent droids. There are medical droids, transport droids and messenger droids to name a few.
Vida Base
The Vida Base is located in China town. They also use Coit tower as a lookout post.
Morte Base
The Morte Base is located on Alcatraz Island.
