Disclaimer: While all information was as accurate as I could make it at the time of testing, some things COULD change without my knowledge...WODF's healing is a prime example

WEAPON GENERATORS:

6-icon attack (2 air, 2 fire, 2 earth): 162/500 (32.4%)

Creates Super Sand Grain: 171/500 (34.2%)

SUMMARY: Taking margin of error into account, I'd say it has an overall 1 in 3 chance (33.3%) for any given option.

Test results for Box of Clockwork Grundos in one-player battledome...500 uses:
Many thanks to pandora268 for letting me borrow it for my tests :)

Chance of drawing one grundo: 13.6%
Chance of drawing two grundos: 37.6%
Chance of drawing three grundos: 38.4%
Chance of drawing four grundos: 10.4%
Average grundos per draw: 2.46

Most common grundos drawn: (in terms of number, not frequency)
Yellow: 26.87%
Red: 25.41%
Brown: 24.43%
Blue: 23.29%

Most common grundos drawn: (in terms of frequency)
Brown: 49.2%
Yellow: 48.8%
Red: 48.8%
Blue: 47.2%

NOTE: Example of the difference between the two percentages: Let's say I draw three times. one Red on the first, one yellow on the second, three blue on the third. The percentage of blue by number is 60% (3/5), yet the frequency per draw is only 33% (1/3)
NOTE: Yellow=light, Red=fire, Brown=earth, and Blue=air icons
NOTE: Grundos do just the icon-type that corresponds to their colour....9-15 icons each
NOTE: If you doubt me and want to quote IDB/ temporarily blocked 's icons at me for the grundos, DON'T. I could do screenshots of 15 icons from all types, and 9 icons from red (fire) and yellow (light) [see below], and 10 icons from blue (air) and brown (earth). I'll admit to a little assumption on my part that if 2 can do 9 icons, the other 2 can as well. So shoot me.

Chance of drawing at least one 15-icon muffin: 47.6%
Chance of drawing at least one 12-icon (or better) muffin: 68.8%
Chance of drawing at least one 9-icon (or better) muffin: 88.8%

Total muffins drawn of 15 icons: 34.8%
Total muffins drawn of 12 icons: 22.8%
Total muffins drawn of 9 icons: 23.2%

Water: 21.1%
Battle: 14.7%
Stone: 5.5%
Radioactive: 4.5%
Jelly: 4.5%
Poison: 3.6%

NOTE: Although Poison and Stone do the same type and number of icons, Poison is actually a little stronger in terms of damage done.
NOTE: The strongest muffin is a tie between Poison and Water.
NOTE: Jelly Muffin can bounce back and attack you instead of your opponent....Poison Muffin can make either you or your opponent's pet sick.

Total snowballs drawn of 9-12 icons: 25.1%
Total snowballs drawn of 7-9 icons: 37.9%
Total snowballs drawn of 6 or less icons: 19.2%
NOTE: Yes, I'm aware there is some overlap in terms of defining placement by icon. I arbitrarily decided to split them up in this way: Wet and poison are under 6...evil, yellow, and peach are 7-9...exploding, icy, and stone are 9-12...snow mudball and sticky are 11-15.

Most common snowballs drawn (in terms of #, not frequency)

Many thanks to snazzify for letting me borrow it for my tests :)

Average cards per draw: 2.05

Chance of drawing 10-15 icon cards - 12.8%
Chance of drawing 9-12 icon cards - 23.6%
Chance of drawing 7-9 icon cards - 19.6%
Chance of drawing cards of 6 icons or less - 44.0%

Total cards drawn of 10-15 icons: 12.7%
Total cards drawn of 9-12 icons: 23.6%
Total cards drawn of 7-9 icons: 20.3%
Total cards drawn of 6 or less icons: 43.4%
NOTE: Yes, I'm aware there is some overlap, just like with the snowballs. With 22 different types from the spec deck, I don't feel like listing each one. If you have any specific questions, just neomail me.
As with the Snowball Machine, only one type of card is given per use.

Test results for Tiki Bomb Bag in one-player battledome...266 uses (100 battles):
Many thanks to snazzify for letting me borrow it for my tests :)

Not exactly certain which stat is more relevant which is why i'm giving both sides of the same stat.
Per Use Chance of Breaking = 37.6% (100/266)
Average # of Rounds/Bombs per Battle Before Breaking = 2.66 (266/100)
Minimum # of Rounds/Bombs = 1
Maximum # of Rounds/Bombs = 12
Most Common # of Rounds/Bombs = 1
NOTE: The Tiki Bomb Bag gives you a bomb when it breaks, meaning you are guaranteed at least one Tiki Bomb per battle. Two rounds means it broke on the second and you have two bombs. Three rounds means three bombs, etc.
NOTE: Tiki Bombs do 5 fire, 5 earth, 1-5 physical (11-15 total icons).

FREEZING ITEMS:

Test results of Elephante Stunray in one-player battledome...250 uses:

Freeze = 10/250 (4.0%)
NOTE: Stunray has a 8 icon attack.
NOTE: Stunray IS considered a freezing weapon, so cannot be equipped with hypno helmet, freezing potion, terror stone, ice dice, frost cannons, etc.
NOTE: However, it does NOT disappear after a freeze so, while rare, multiple freezes in the same battle ARE possible.

Most Consecutive Freezes = 4
NOTE: Dice do NOT disappear...not even for the battle. They freeze on rolls of 2, 3, and 7 (not 11).

Most Consecutive Freezes = 3
Most Consecutive Rounds WITHOUT a Freeze = 20
NOTE: This weapon is KOI-ONLY, is considered a freezing weapon, and does not disappear on a freeze so multiple freezes are possible.

ADDITIONAL NOTE: Could be a coincidence but the 480 and 283 (as well as 16 of the 18 levels drained) were both gotten when i clicked the Fangs SECOND. When I clicked the Fangs FIRST is when i got 82, 6, 74, and 243 and only 2 levels. Test results of Ghostkersword in one-player battledome...250 uses:

The Ghostkersword does 3 dark (constant), 5 physical (constant), 8-23 air in increments of 3.
8 Air icons: 32/250 (12.8%)

AVERAGE TOTAL ICONS PER USE: 21.06
NOTE: G-sword does not use fractional icons, so the total icons per use is both visual AND damage-based.
NOTE: As always, min/max/avg is based solely on my own use, if you ever have it do more or less than what i got, that's fine but irrelevant to my testing.

Test results of Glowing Cauldron in one-player battledome...250 uses:

10 reflected fire icons (see note) = 223/250 (89.2%)
drain hit points = 18/250 (7.2%)
spit smoke (nothing) = 9/250 (3.6%)

NOTE: Since it's figured as reflected icons rather than normal damage, you DON'T get extra icons if you fierce/berserk with it.
NOTE: In 1-player, the cauldron uses your opponent's strength when calculating damage (unless your opponent is frozen). For example, my testing pet with no strength boost does the EXACT same damage with it as my powerful pet. Also, it CAN be defended in 1-player (read about reflection from my site on my UL). Damage is also the same whether you defend, use an ability, berserk, and so on since it is considered reflected damage.
NOTE: In 2-player, it uses the strength boost of whoever hits Go first.. The hit point drain functions like the battle plunger's: it does not give them to you, it's just unblockable damage (it used to take stats from your opponent and give them to you but it doesn't anymore).
SUMMARY: All in all, with a strong pet I'd strongly prefer a kiln to the cauldron. More icons (11 rather than 10), you can get extra icons with fierce/berserk, useful in both 1- and 2-player, no chance of doing nothing, etc. However, a weaker pet could benefit substantially with this weapon especially going for avatars or DoN challengers.

Test results of Golden Pirate Amulet in one-player battledome...250 uses:

The Golden Pirate Amulet does 2 water and 3 dark constant as well as drains.

Minimum Drain = 1 point
Maximum Drain = 30 points

*Additional note: Golden Pirate Amulet defends against ALL light

Test results of Illusens Staff in one-player battledome...250 uses:

Earth Attack = 13 icons (constant)
Minimum Physical Attack = 1 icons
Maximum Physical Attack = 6 icons
Most Common Phys Attack = 4 icons
Average Physical Attack = 3.888 icons

AVERAGE TOTAL ICONS PER USE = 16.888

NOTE: If your pet's hp are below 20% of its max when you use the staff, it will heal your pet 20% of your pet's TOTAL hp. For example, if your pet has 1,000 hit points and you start a round at 200 or less, the staff will heal you 200 points.
NOTE: I.Staff with dark is similar to Jhudoras Wand with air. It will ALWAYS block 100% of dark (like the Jwand does with air) yet if light is used in the same attack AS dark, it will reflect 75% of the original light icons back on the opponent while the Staff user will take 125% of the same original light icons.

HUGE thanks to my Grasshoppa (katethegreat242) for the Cove grab

Strong hit (12 icons): 84/250 (33.6%)
Weak hit (8 icons): 83/250 (33.2%)
Healing (10 hp): 83/250 (33.2%)
NOTE: Strong hit is 5 earth, 5 air, and 2 dark. Weak hit is 2 water, 2 air, 2 earth, and 2 dark
QUIRK: If you are hurt by less than 10 hp when it tries to heal you, it does nothing (doesn't go ahead and heal you to full)
SUMMARY: Heh heh, I'd say the odds are even for each effect. Not a horrible weapon for those unable to afford other means of healing (as in those people that rely on Drain Life and the faerie abilities for their healing).

Test results of Wand of the Dark Faerie in one-player battledome...500 uses:
Words cannot express the gratitude I have for the person that loaned it to me (who wishes to remain nameless). :)

The Wand of the Dark Faerie does 20 dark (constant), 1-9 physical. (supposedly 1-10 phys, but in 500 uses 9 was my max)
1 physical icon - 1/500 (0.2%)
2 physical icons - 10/500 (2.0%)
3 physical icons - 49/500 (9.8%)
4 physical icons - 85/500 (17.0%)
5 physical icons - 111/500 (22.2%)
6 physical icons - 139/500 (27.8%)
7 physical icons - 66/500 (13.2%)
8 physical icons - 30/500 (6.0%)
9 physical icons - 9/500 (1.8%)
10 physical icons - 0/500 (0.0%)
Average phys icons per use: 5.36
NOTE: The Wand blocks and reflects 75% of light icons used against you.
NOTE: Like the Istaff, the WODF will heal you if your pet's hp are below 20% of its max when you use the wand. It will heal your pet 20% of your pet's TOTAL hp if used when you have less than 20% to start the round. For example, if your pet has 1,000 hit points and you start a round at 200 or less, the wand will heal you 200 points.
NOTE: WODF and I.Staff healing is NOT cumulative. That is, if you are below 20% and use BOTH, you only get the healing from ONE of them.

AVERAGE TOTAL ICONS PER USE: 25.36

OLD NEWS BY NOW: Since my original testing, the WODF was CHANGED to 25% healing starting at 25% of max instead of 20% @ 20% or less.
This also means that you CAN get a combined heal if your pet starts a round with less than 5% of its max and you click WODF first, THEN Istaff. In the 1000 hp example from above, if your pet has 50 hp left and you click WODF then ISTAFF, the istaff heal will be calculated first (200hp heal), then the WODF will go from that 250 (start with 50 + 200hp from istaff is still equal to or less than 25%) and heal another 250, putting your pet at 500!

Test results of Smugglers Treasure Chest in one-player battledome...250 uses:

Fierce Wooden Leg Dr Sloth Plushie Mystic Jelly Bean Necklace Umbrella Shield
7/250 (2.8%) 12/250 (4.8%) 12/250 (4.8%) 12/250 (4.8%)

Aubergine Mace Earwax Chia Mystical Fish Lobber Sad Spell
14/250 (5.6%) 15/250 (6.0%) 15/250 (6.0%) 15/250 (6.0%)

Seasonal Attack Pea Alien Aisha Ray Gun Metal Wand Cursed Ink Pot
15/250 (6.0%) 16/250 (6.4%) 16/250 (6.4%) 18/250 (7.2%)

Mystical Teapot of Doom Alien Aisha Scrambler Cake Bomb Banana Sword
19/250 (7.6%) 20/250 (8.0%) 21/250 (8.4%) 23/250 (9.2%)

NOTE: Test conducted Jan 10th, 2004. Results subject to change if new items are able to be created later.
NOTE: Tests results on variable weapons it can become are pending.
NOTE: While it can change into a Dr Sloth Plushie, the plushie does NOTHING when used. CONCLUSION: Taking margin for error into account, I'd say that there is an equal 1-in-16 chance of any given item. Ideally on a 250-use test, each item would be pulled 15-16 times and most of them fall within a reasonable amount of that.

DEFENCE STATS EXPLAINED:
Ok, everyone knows what a strength boost is, right? That you'll do more damage per icon the stronger you are.
Well, defence boosts work the same way only they function with those defensive weapons that don't block all of an icon.
I tested this theory with the dark faerie collar which blocks 5 light. Because my pet has 400 defence, that means that I'll block 5 icons worth of light damage from a 400 str pet's base damage amount. Base damage per boost is what you get when you use a constant iconed weapon and cautious attack against an opponent also using cautious, then divide that damage by the number of icons from the weapon. At 400, the base damage is 8.5 and since the collar blocks 5, we multiply 8.5 times 5 to get the amount blocked for the collar by me which is 42. So if I use the collar at my current defence boost, i'll always block 42 pts of damage from light if i use Cautious/Species/Ability (see below) regardless of the actual NUMBER of icons used against me or amount of icons SHOWN as blocked. If the opponent uses 20 icons but is so weak it doesn't add up to 42, it'll block all light damage and if the opponent is stronger, it'll block less icons, but the same amount damage...42. If your pet has a lower defence, it will block the equivalent DAMAGE as the base damage from a strength boost that corresponds with it (When using the Collar, for example, a pet with 150 defence will block 15 points worth of light damage, one with 100 defence will block 12, etc.) As soon as a page on IBA goes live, I'll tell you where to go to see all defence/strength boosts as well as their corresponding base damage.

Note: The Defend ability has NOTHING to do with the defence stat. Unless you also use a weapon that defends part of an icon, a pet with a defence of 1 will 'block' the same amount of damage when using Defend as a pet with the 700 defence boost. (See explanation of Defend on beatmetoapulp's page. IBA should be adding it shortly.
Additional Comment: Is training to the final defence boost useful? It really depends on the weapons you use. If none of your weapons block some of an icon, then no it isn't. If you use, say the Dark Faerie Collar which blocks 5 light, it means that at the final boost you'll always block 75 points of damage from light rather than 15 from the 125 boost (ppl that stopped at 150 because it was rumoured to be the final boost are actually in the 125-199 boost).
UPDATE: Defensive icons ARE included in YOUR attack modifiers from base icons, but your OPPONENT'S attack modifer isn't. What does that mean? Well, with ATTACKING icons, if you use a weapon that does 100 pts of damage on Cautious, it will do 150 if you Berserk (assuming your opponent does the same attack). Simlarly, if it does 100 on cautious and YOU do cautious while your OPPONENT berserks, it will still do 150% of base damage or 150 points. If you BOTH berserk, it will actually do 225 (100*150%*150%). 9np has this information up on his pet, beatmetoapulp's, page. How do the modifiers affect defence? Well, if your defensive weapon blocks 42 points of damage from light (see earlier example), then if YOU berserk, it will now block 63. Unlike with attacks, however, if YOU use cautious and THEY berserk, it will still only block 42. Bizarre, huh?
