===========================================================
It is obvious that neopets naturally favours those of fast internet, it's impossible to avoid this, and so those who don't have fast internet access have to find alternative means of getting NP, rather than restocking and other ways that require you doing something faster than others. Here is a compiled guide from people who have found other ways to get their NP, although a lot slower than cable, at a reasonable rate, that won't leave you too far behind. Unlike other guides, it has been written realistically, for those who don't always win the jackpot, and can't always get amazing scores at games, and don't have all day to play neopets.. These steps require probably no more than 2 hours a day on neo. Firstly.. You know it's coming, but play some games, SERIOUSLY, just 1/2 an hour to spare each day, can give you 5000np, let me put it this way, that's 150,000np in a month. The games I personally play, don't take long, and aren't too hard, they are : 1. Meerca Chase (try and get around 300np per round = 1000np overall) 2. Ultimate Bullseye - This game is fun, and you should get around 800np after 3 rounds :) 3. Faerie Cloud Racers - The only game i'm "good" at, i get around 3000np off this, but you should be able to get around 1500np with practice. 5. Your favourite game - You should be able to get 1000np on another game DO THIS EVERY DAY, YOUR NP WILL SOON GROW Ok.. So from 0np, you have say around 4500np, So off to the stock market you go. Buy yourself any stock that is 15np (go to find stocks and then show all), and spend about 2000np on it to begin with. Eventually you should spend 15,000 on it each day. Any other money should be spent on wiz sniping. This is the process of finding items on the shop wizard for much cheaper than they normally sell for, either due to new people or mistakes (bit evil but hey it pays). Some items will rarely ever be mispriced, simply because so few people price them, or they're so expensive those who would have one would always know it's worth. Often a lot of items WILL require high bandwidth, (e.g codestones/lab maps) because so many people are doing it. Thus, find an item you know lots of people get in random events etc, but is worth quite a fair bit (few thousand etc). Do this towards the last 10 minutes of the hour (you have a limited number of refreshes at the shop wizard per hour), so that you can use the wizard like normal before this. Scratchcards, unfortunately, you can only buy every 6 hours, but buy one, Do NOT scratch it, sell it on for a few 100 np's more. (check value though) *********************TIP*********************************** -Try and avoid buying items while you are poorer, unless it's much cheaper than you can sell for, or if something is happening which means that item WILL for certain go up in value, any items you get, unless worth over 1000np, Just put in your safety deposit box and keep them, they might be worth a lot one day! ********************************************************************************************** ======================================================= Now, once you have got past the 100,000np mark, it makes life slightly better, as the shop wizard does not go past it.. This means, auctions and trading post are the only places that items over 100,000np can be bought.. This makes demand higher. Now, all i can say about Trading Post, is that you really need to know what Items are worth, what they're doing etc, HAVE A GOOD ITEM KNOWLEDGE, this means, that you instantly know when you see a good deal, and can swipe, although you might need to be fast, having a slow modem won't see much difference in the trading post. Now, beware, items may be selling for 10's of thousands of np cheaper than anywhere else, but that could be because it's a hard to sell item.. This is where the ITEM knowlege comes in, if you know that the item has a high demand, (lots of people want it, or will want it), then buy it, otherwise, make sure you're getting an amazing deal. Now, The amount of NP you make in the trading post, is proportional to product knowledge, You may unfortunately find yourself making a loss at the beginning, but as you learn more and more, you'll start to make more and more profit, some people can make 100's of thousands on it, but they're usually amazingly knowledgable and always refreshing the NEWEST 20 for good deals. So say that you make 50,000np in one month, which isn't much at all, then with the games, and turdle racing, you have made 500,000np in a month. 450,000np is almost definite if you play the games and turdle racing! ======================================================= Every day, you should visit the shrine, the fruit machine and the tombola, (as well as turdle racing), these usually don't give off much, but in a month, you might make around 20,000np on them in total, which is reasonable! Read the news, remember the old proverb - Knowledge is power, well in neo, it really is, the more you know about what's going on around you, the better you can use this to your advantage, stay one step ahead of everyone else, and you will be very rich. Don't waste money, don't gamble NP away, avoid most luck games, as they will see you lose on average, don't be tempted by 10,000np jackpots, you'll spend a lot more trying to get it! Be friendly and good things come your way, and be wary of scammers etc (i could write a whole article on that, but won't). Keep track of your funds, maybe plot a graph to see how well you're doing,and set yourself targets.. IN Conclusion, If you keep playing games, and turdle racing, you will have made 450,000np almost certainly, trading post at the beginning, around 50,000np, and other sources around 30,000np.. This will total a nice 530,000np.. Not bad in ONE month! 2 months, and that millionaire account is yours :) |
