Muggle Geography

Hello everyone, I'm Professor Marie, although most of you know me as Ginny. The reason I created Muggle Geography is simple: I want to tell all of you Slytherins – especially you, Draco *looks at Draco* that Muggles aren't that bad.

Today, we're learning about Russia.

Russia is the world's largest country by area, and it is in Eurasia (Europe + Asia). The Capital City is Moscow. Most of you might know that it used to be called the Soviet Union. You might have also heard of the Tale of Anastasia, the Romanov who lived - but the story is untrue.

It is a communist country, and the largest by far. It has a variety of surroundings, such as tundra, glassland and semi-desert. It has many famous kings and queens, such as Tsar Ivan the Terrible and Peter the Great. It also has many champion tennis players.
