God, am I a failure. You know what? Go ahead. Spam me with letters that say things like 'Why did you close?' 'I liked Crossroads!' 'I miss your site!' Whatever. I always liked the idea of running a site, and I PROMISED myself that I would keep this place up. One thing led to another... and poof - it's dead.
I like to sitemake, don't get me wrong. I love Neopets, and I hate myself for doing so. I'm starting a chapter in my life where I should be accomplishing things - and I haven't done anything. To tell the truth, I don't think anybody really cares except for me. But this is my site, and I chose to do this.

Frankly, I should have known. Every single time I've tried to run a site, it failed. I'm just not that type of person.

4. The Attic
5. Crossroads

Those are all those sites. All the times I've opened up a site, I set myself up for failure. And every time, I've had to part with the site as if it were my child. I just can't allow myself to waste time anymore.

And it's not just sitemaking I'm quitting. Last week, I put up a tracker to see how much time I spend on Neo, and I ended up going over 40 hours a week. That's time that could be spent on something MUCH more productive. So I'm not quitting Neo (I've spent too much time and money on these bits of pixels) but I'm going on an indefinite hiatus. I'll be on for short bits of time up until the AC in June (gotta support my Haunties) and then I'll probably be gone.
