If you're looking to adopt a pet and decide to visit the Pound NeoBoard in hopes of setting up a trade, here are some of the most used abbreviations you'll find there. I know it can sometimes seem like another language

UFT: Up For Trade
UFA: Up For Adoption
UC: Unconverted
C: Converted
WN: Well named
BD: Battledome
BN: Badly Named
DN: Decently Named

Contrary to popular notion, you CAN adopt some cool painted pets on accounts that are younger than 4 months.

The new pound rule states that accounts that are younger than 4 months cannot adopt 'Pets that are above level 2, limited-edition species, or that have been painted with certain rare or expensive paintbrushes.'

What they mean is that if the pet is level 1 or 2 and is not a limited edition species then you will be able to adopt pets with certain colors.

The following colors CAN be adopted on accounts YOUNGER than 4 months:

- Red
- Blue
- Green
- Yellow
- Brown
- Checkered
- Glowing
- Invisible
- Orange
- Pink
- Purple
- Shadow
- Silver
- Skunk
- Speckled
- Split
- White

Colors that are only available through the lab ( Mspp, Sponge, Alien, Jelly etc ) CANNOT be adopted by accounts younger than 4 months. Expensive or rare colors include Desert, Royal, Plushie, and the other colors not listed above.

The pets you CANNOT adopt on accounts younger than 4 months ( Limited Edition pets ) include the following:

- Chomby
- Cybunny
- Draik
- Hissi
- Jetsam
- Kiko
- Koi
- Krawk
- Poogle
- Tonu

When a Lutari is abandoned, the Lutari will disappear/not go to its intended owner for they hate being abandoned (reasons unknown) and will run away.

If your account is too young to adopt any pet, the following message will occur:

ERROR : Your account is not old enough to adopt this pet!"

NOTE: Chia pops are one-use items. Also be aware that there are many non-magical chia pops (ones that don't change your Chia's appearance).

Converted Pets

The ways to change the gender of your pet.

- Strange Potion
- Lab Ray (random)
- Lab Scientist (You have to have the lab map to do this. Go to the Lab. refresh, until you get the Lab Ray Scientist as a challenger.
Go to the Battledome, 1 Player section, and challenge the Lab Ray Scientist. Make sure you use your pet who's the wrong gender!
One of the Lab Ray Scientist's weapons is a Strange Potion, which changes your pet's gender! He doesn't always use the Strange Potion right away. Once the Lab Ray Scientist changes your pet's gender, withdraw from the fight by visiting this page , if you don't, the scientist might change your pet's gender again!)

Actually, what makes that tip even better, is that you can do that for up to 28 days! No fuss, no muss and you can STILL play with them and such. So 5 nps times 28 days=140nps Worth it, in my opinion.

this is a cool tip, it worked for me. if your pet is really hungry, rather then feeding them, which can cost 100s of nps, just book them in the cheapest motel for 1 night, w/ no extras (they don't care) its 5np and your pet is fed! easy huh?

You can only get an Alien, Chocolate, Clay, Custard, Garlic, Ice, Jelly, Marshmallow, MSP, Robot, Snot, Sponge, Lutari, and Coconut, through the Lab Ray.

for most limited pets, you get them by:
a) Adopting them from the pound (Except the Lutari, which can't be pounded)
b) Luck at the lab ray (You have to collect all 9 pieces of the Lab Map)
c) Buying a morphing potion.
d) Buying a transmogrification potion and p/b (retired ones work too)
e) Waiting for more to be released on the Pets Day and creating one
f ) Playing with the appropriate magical plushies
g) Draik: More Draiks are NOT released on Draik Day.
--You can buy A Draik Egg, take it to the Draik Nest and hatch it.
h) Grundo: You can adopt one at the Space Station
i) Krawk: Take a krawk petpet to the Fungus Cave while you have 3 or less pets, make sure you have named it something that no pet is named already. Have it eat fungus.

Go to "Pet Central" Scroll down to the bottom and click on, "Total Pets" Then scroll down again, then you'll see something like Poogle: 400,135 (out of 400,000) or something like that, and if the right number is higher then the left number than go to create a pet and create your limited edition pet but it works best from late at night to early morning i got my tonu and kiko at like 1:00 in the morning

Just a little tip on how to get Tonus:

Whenever the Giant Omelette is gone, go to Create-A-Pet, and you can create a Tonu.

Tonus appear as soon as the omelette is gone, so you have to be quick,

So far, I don't know anyone who got a Tonu this way. If you do, please neomail me and let me know. Thanks

hey, this might not be new, but I found out that whenever I feed a pet that's lost HP, it gains one HP for every food it eats. For example, if your pet was blasted by the Snowager while it was starving or hungry, if you fed it then you would gain one HP for every bite it takes. this means two HP for a jelly or three for an omelette when fully eaten. just a bit of accidental info! If you own a Skeith or Grarrl, and they ever get hungry or very hungry, and you click on it's quick ref, or your active pet's name, it can eat any item from your inventory and instantly become bloated!!! So I suggest you can either put all your items in your SDB or leave out worthless and useless items like items that you get from underwater fishing.
