About the Game + Controls

Neopets states: "Fruits will fall from the top of the screen, use the left and right arrow keys to move the fruits, and the space bar to rotate the fruits. The aim is to use the bombs (the fruits with the twirling background) to blow up fruits of the same type. If you fill up the entire play area with fruits, its game over!"

As you go through the levels, the fruits will continue to drop faster. Every once in a while several fruits will be dropped onto the screen. The further you are, the more fruits are dropped.
You move on to the second level after placing 18 fruit clusters. After that, you advance after every 20 clusters.

Getting Combos

In this game, it's crucial to group a bunch of similiar, small fruits together in order to build big ones. This is how you can aquire tons of points and bonuses!

The example above shows a fruit that is 2x2. That means the points it will give you are 2x2x2=8. If 3x3, then your fruit will give you 27 points (3x3x3). See the pattern? With this technique you can rack up a ton of points with massive fruits! Below are the points you'll get for each sized fruit:

Specials

There are two specials found in the game. They effect whatever fruit they land on. If they land on the bottom, they will effect either the fruits to their right or left.

	This is one special that will make all your fruits of a certain color disappear.
	This will turn all fruits resembling the kind it lands on into another type. I try to avoid using this as much as possible since it may turn the fruits into a type that you cannot remove until you reach a certain level. For example, they may turn into a Guish Melon which cannot be removed until level 4.

Tips & Techniques

Play on a slow computer! It may be annoying, but this will give you a lot more reaction time. To slow down your computer, have a lot of windows up or have other programs running.

Practice, practice, practice! I know it gets old, but this is vital and will help you to keep improving until you get that ideal score.

Try to keep your fruits organized! Don't put them in random places and try to avoid mixing them. Instead, try to keep one type of fruit on one side, another on the other, and so on.

Avoid having too many stacks! You want the fruits to be large and grouped together. Not piled high vertically.
