Lately I've been receiving many requests on how to do certain things, so I've decided to start this page and help you guys out :)

Add In Your Own Hobbies

You may have noticed that on some people's userlookups, in the hpbbies section, instead of choosing from the boring Neopets choices like 'chewing bubblegum' they have added in their own personalized ones.

Here's how to do it:

First go to this page:

Right click and copy the code in the box.

Then go to the edit profile page.
In the address bar (the place where you type in website addresses), right click and paste the code, and press 'go' on your address bar.

You should know be able to type in your hobbies instead of choosing from the drop-down menu.

Misc. Tips

Here are a few easy little things that help make a website look more clean and professional.

1. To start a new line or paragraph, (like pressing enter/return on a keyboard):

Type where you want a new line, or type where you want a new paragraph. Its that simple :)

2. Make your text bold:

Type at the beginning of the text you want bold, and at the end of the text you want bold.

3. Make your text underlined:

Type at the beginning of the text you want underlined and at the end of that text.

4. Make your text italic:

Put at the beginning of the text you want italic, and at the end.

5. Make a link like THIS:

Put the following code where you want your link. You will have to have the correct URL (A URL is an address to a website) to the page you want your link to go to. <a href="put website URL here">Text to be clicked on like CLICK HERE</a>

6. Postioning Text (on the left center or right of your page):

If you want your text to appear on the left of your page, put <left> at the beginning of the text you want there and </left> at the end of that text. If you want your text to appear in the middle of your page, put <center> at the beginning of the text you want in the middle and </center> at the end of that text. If you want your text to appear on the right of your page put <right> at the beginning of the text you want there and </right> at the end of that text.

7. Making text colored:

Paste the following code where you want the colored text. text here. Where it says FF66FF (that is a color hex code), you can change it to a different hex code. Or type 'red' or 'green' or whatever color. If you want a specific shade, you'll have to use the Hex code for that color. That's the letter and number code for it. Below this box is a link to a place with the hex codes for different colors.

At the beginning of the text you want inside the box, type

and at the end of the text you want in the box type

If you want to make one of these boxes on a non Neopets page, type the code like this instead:
