After a while you stand paralyzed gazing ahead of you. Your eyes open widley to a bright, neon green light comming from ahead of you. Your heart beat with excitement as ou dash towards the light through the rain. You stop right infrot of where the light is comming from. Looking down, you see a book on a stand about 50 centimetres off the ground. You kneel down to reach for the book, when you are stopped by a cold hoof on your shoulder. You go motionless, wishing you hadn't been there. But it doesn't help. You close your teary eyes to turn around. You open them to seea grey Kau starring back at you with visions of hope and fear in his eyes. You lean forward to pat the creature, but he jerks back. So, you sit down infront of him.
Hhi, I'm guest. Wh..Whoo are youoou? You studder pushing the syllables through your lips with your tongue. It had been days since you'd spoken.
Turning away the Kau begins to speak. I am Lanizia of Neopia. I belong to no single place, as Kaus travel from pasture to pasture.
Where is you heard? You question seeking a dramatic answer.

From the beginning, I had been different. My fur had always been too perky, my bell always too low. But those I was never too worried about. However when it came time to move pastures, there was a problem. Everyone knows Kaus travel singing catchy tunes, and, I... I can't sing!! So I tryed a couple times , but everyone laughed at me. Then at the Kau painting ceremony I was painted grey due to my singing disability. I then decided to run away. You realize he had gathered through out his speech.
Together you both wander off into he darkness of the night and you know your new friend will make it easier to live. You know your new friend can help you. After all, no one can do everything solo. Sometimes, all you need is a shoulder to lean on.

Lani can feel the warm sun on is face as he begins another pasture day filled with munching. Oh, how Lani longs for a sandwhich, and not just any sandwhich a nice cold tuna sandwhich. But, he knows he is far from that dream he realizes sighing in depression.
Out of no where Lani hears rustling in the tall grass. fearlessly he marches towards it trying to scare whatever it may be away. But it fails. All of a sudden a yellow Floud pops out of the tall grass. Lani stares at this creature in prue confusion. What in Neopia is this petpet doing here??

What is going on Ma'? Questioned Lani. He knew infact he had never seen this sort of dungy air in his life, however he wasn't so sure about the others though. They obviously knew what to do.
Its' the fog. Meredith answered. He could see a tear run down her face. She tryed to hide it, but her pain was evident.
The fog? Lani mummbled sounding confused.
The fog that killed your father! She cried out in grave pain.

I decided to leave him like this because I knew that I probably wouldn't ever get another jelly neopet and that this was probably the best for me!
All of frogies training has come from countless zapping from the labray.
He is strong and independent, and sometimes can get full of himself, but sometimes all it takes is telling him about what he is doing to realize it's wrong.
Kehdo is the newest addition to the family. He is currently the lab pet and will not always be a glowing mynci.
Kehdo is very loving of his brothers and sisters and likes playing it on the safe side. His fiery personality makes others think twice about crossing his path with a bad apple.
Kehdo looks up to froggie as mentor both inside and out of the battledome. Some day he wishes he could be as strong as frogie, but he knows he's going to have to work very hard for it!
He has always wnted a petpet but knows he needs to show leader ship and more pernality to be able to be matched up with one, he knows it is next to impossible to get on in this family at such an early age.
Mark is witty, silly and overall strange. He enjoys 'craking jokes' and making silly faces. His favourite game is cheeseroller because it is in his words 'a different kind of game that justc aptures you!
Mark was adopted from the pound when I was pound surfing, so I took him in as my own. Loving and carring for him
Ouruii will be our newest addition to the family once the pound opens up. You see I applied for him when the pound was opened and right when it closed i was supossed to be adopting. However I'm glad he isnt stuck in the pound just lke thousands of others!
Ruii is playful, and over jumpy, but knows when it is enough. His wiskers help his the feel if he can fit through a space.
Ruii and Auteuri are very close, both being of snowy valley. Ruii enjoys spending his time playing cliffhanger, which he is very good at!
Fuz is very shy and refrains from giving away very much of his very mysterious character. He is normally found lstening to music, however whenever he finds you watching him he runs away. He has very little self estem and confidence, he journals and keeps it all to himself. He refused to take in a petpet. I still haven't quite figured him out. But I know he has some mysterious personality!
I have spent a while thinking about this part, which is the 'add-ons' the Lanis' wardrobe.
Well Lani will have this tattoo in the middle of his forehead, which represents strength and independence.
This particular type of tattoo is called a Tryflang given the pact that there is a triangle at the top and a fang hanging down the center.
The next items would be one 'see-through' bracelet for Lanis' front left leg. It would hang near the bottom not touching his hoof.
Also a small, gold hoop ear-ring would be on his left ear right near the bottom.
When I'm online I am typically stocking and restocking my very successful shop, in my Mall. I used to be a big time avatar collector, but, ever since the pound went down and TNT stopped making avatars. Also, me being a very competitive person helped in Auteuris' first Beauty Contest where she placed 1st in species and 19th overall winning TWO gold trophies and 20,000nps!
I also spend a lot of time playing games and chatting in my guild!
Offline I'm Victoria, from Canada. I am 14 on August 13th and very excited. I love playing soccer, swimming (both competitively and teaching *assistant lifeguard*), playing tennis, volleyball and running track.
At school I am an A student and am very consentrated on whatever I do to get the job done.
I have a younger sister who used to play neo, and a mom and dad.
After school I like to hang out with my friends, play sports, chat online_ go on neopets and laughing. Yes laugh. Whenever my friends are down I can always put a smile on their face.
Everytime I apply for a neopet, I get asked this difficult question. It's not that I have no idea why I want this pet, it is just hard to explain. I normally develope each neopet into his/her own character and work from there. Working his or her past, present and future. I plan their travels and explerences.

Future Plans
I plan to make Lanis' Future a little lighter and brighter. I have ideas for Beauty Contests, Pet spotlights and lots more! I plan to make him my active pet and to create his full gallery of Sandwiches. A tasty part of Neopian living.
I also plan to work very hard on his petpage and lookup. I am thinking of turning his petpage into a sandwich rating page where there will be collumns of sanwiches he has eaten and his ratings for them. I will get the information for the ratings from what he has to say after each sandwich. I am very excited about this idea and am sure it will be a hit! It is very original too!
Petpage
We all have seem to have found our addiction. What ties us into this virtual world. Some collect avatars or play the wide variety of games neopets has to offer. Many are caught restocking, feeding Kads, running shops or entering their pets in beatuy contests to show off their creative drawings hoping that someday they will take first.
No matter what it is most of us can say we collect something whether it is in our gellery or not. But, have we ever wondered what our neopets would like to collect?
A week ago or so Lani and I got to talking about this His most memorable phrase was ' Nothing can compare to a good sandwich.' He had also mentioned that he could never remember which sandwich he had and hadn't eaten and how they tasted and everything like that.
So I decided if I do become Lanis' new owner that his petpage would become his very own personal sandwich lig. A place where he can record his reactions to each different sandwich he has eaten, so that he knows which one to have again!

My sisters
Victoria would make a great owner for Lanizia. I know this ebcuase whenever she sets her mind to something she normally achieves it. I've heard her talking non-stop for months about this grey Kau and i knoe that she would make a great owner for Lanizia. She is comforting, she has entering beauty Contests, she has gained loads of experience from all fields of neopets and she is great with her pets!
Well thankyou Carina for reading through my entire Application for Lanizia the grey Kau. I certainly had fun creating it, and I hope thank I am suitable for Lani, and am chosen to be his new owner! I worked very hard for this application and their are some people I would like to thank.
