The Story
It all started a little over a decade ago. The place: Mrs. Frech's Kindergarden Class. The Time: 1997. Two small girls met for the first time on the playground, a place where there friendship would grow and blossom into a life long relationship. They started to hang out and decided that this friendship was serious, so they got their moms to take them to the park. There, both girls played on the playground while their mothers got to know each other better and enjoy each other's company, and might I add, they are still friends to this day.
Kindergarden ended, and so did the girls' first year together. Up through 5th grade, the 2 girls never ceased to have a good time, except for once. One time in the 3rd grade, they had a "massive" fight, the biggest one they ever had and ever would. It ended in throwing down their friendship bracelets into the playground, and storming off in different directions, proclaiming that they would never be friends again. The one little girl went home and cried to her mommy all night thinking that she had lost her best friend. Never fear though, the very next day, the girls made up. Though it was a horrible day up to the make-up. When the girls went outside to try and find the missing bracelet, it was lost, lost forever. Never found.
Growing up wasn't all fun and games. Sometimes the two girls would find themselves being pulled away from each other by other people. One always got sucked into the mean girls and the other into another girl group. However, no matter how much the other girl felt like she was being abandoned, nothing ever tore them apart completely.
They graduated 5th grade the year of 2003. Then IT happened. The summer after grade, one girl moved, and not just across town, out of the state. It was just the next state up, but nonetheless, it was an hour farther than before. The girls cried and cried, at least... one of them did. They feared for their friendship, was it strong enough to make it through?
Well, most friendships die when someone moves away. People think that they've made life long friends in elementary school and middle school, and then they move away and realize that they never had any life long friends. All of the friends that they thought that they once had, they haven't talked to for 5 years, and yes, it's been that long. But these 2 girls, frizz and angel, stayed together, and it was mostly because of frizz's mom. To this day, the 2 girls get together, laugh like old times, even laugh AT old times, send e-mails, comments, and consider themselves best friends. No. Not Just Best Friends.
Best Friends Forever.
