-Please Step Into your Hazmat Suit and We Will Begin-

Oh! I'm sorry...I don't believe I saw you come in...

As you enter the odd laboratory an equally odd boy looks up at you. He looks to be about eighteen, and wears a charred lab coat and some silly looking goggles. After setting down several test tubes and some tongs he takes the goggles off, smiling shyly.

I wasn't aware that we had any visitors...but please, make yourself at home."

The boy gestures towardsd a small seating area in the corner of the lab. You take a seat - but fear that you may be sitting in something radioactive for you feel quite strange. Perhaps it's just the strange setting though.

Let me just clean a few of these things up and we can get down to buisness..."

It seems that he was going to continue speaking, but was interrupted by an ear-shattering explosion. Followed by a muffled shout.

Potatoes are awesome!!!"

The boy cringed just slightly but relaxed at once, quickly cleaning his work area before walking over to a small door by the sitting area. As the boy plaves his hand on the door knob it squeaks open, smoke billowing as it exits the room. Perhaps you expected something impressive? Sorry to disapoint, it's just a very frazzled little Fire Niptor. He wheezes a few times before falling flat on his face. The boy ignores him, going and sitting down near you - he smiles cheerfully after adjusting his glasses.

Pleased to meet you, I'm Deliite - well Alite for short."

He extends his hand, though you decide not to shake it, the odd colors of smoke that are all over his hand worry you. Alite doesn't seem to mind though.

I work in the pyrotechnic industry! But I'm sure you already knew that. My step-brother, Neshiyo, got me started at this job and helped me buy this lab!"

He was interrupted once again as the dizzy Niptor stumbled into the sitting area, coughing and glaring at him. Alite sighed, standing up wearily.

Yes...Vex is right, I should be getting back to work. It was nice talking with you though!"

And just as quickly as he had begun talking to you, he stopped - returning to his work. Despite your utter confusion, it could have been worse I suppose.

{Why?}
I have been looking for a new character to add to my neo-family and roleplays for a while now and I think I might have found him! Delitte would be a perfect addition to my characters and I would love to get him a fire Niptor and develop his personality even further.
As odd as it may seem for a grey pet, I think a crazy hazmat-suit-wearing-pyro-scientist is too fun to pass up. He would make a perfect character for that! As for his personality - a sunny, hard-working, young boy who isn't all there in the attic let's say - that's what I have in mind.
I know I cant draw like other aplicants probably can, but I would love to use him as a roleplay character, get him a petpet, have him make friends, and make a petpage for him. I used my own photo for the layout to show that I can be artistic ^^; but my drawings are oh-so-bad - I'll spare you. {The Family}

Me...Well. I'm your average 17 year old high school Junior who is sadly still playing neopets and has no desire to quit (what a nerd eh?). Most of my time is taken up by my homework, friends, cats, photography, guitar, roleplay, and language study. Though I love photography and roleplay best.
My neopets accounts have always been very special to me - I have played for a total of three years and my main account has now ended up on bleste. My only side accounts are b1este, gnomeadoption, and bl3ste (where I keep most of my roleplay pets). I have never adopted a pet before through an application process but instead have gone broke painting all my pets. One of my favorite things to do when I get a new pet is get it a petpet and petpetpet. I love matching them with the pet and making the lookup nice ^^. My main account has a pretty good example=3. If I did adopt Deliite, I would probably put him on my gnomeadoption account so he could be with Neshiyo, my grey aisha.
