THE NOVEMBER AAA GAMES CHALLENGE!
We had some doubts that the Gamesmaster Challenge would be happening this year in its usual November time slot since the current site event could have conflicted. However, the latest Neopets news email confirms it!
Games Master Challenge starts on November 24th. This likely means that the Atlas of the Ancients event will be finished, or wrapping up within the next three weeks. If you haven't completed all of the challenges yet, we suggest you get going!

NEW PLOT = Atlas of the Ancients
CHAPTER 1
It's official, Atlas of the Ancients event has begun. Start off by reading Chapter 1 of the story. When clicking on the map on the 3rd page, you will receive the Ancient Map of Neopia.
CHAPTER 2
Read Chapter 2 of the comic. There are no new plot steps with this chapter.
CHAPTER 3
Read Chapter 3 of the comic. Click the last panel of the second page and visit the Hall of Heroes. Clicking on the statues of King Altador, Jerdana the Protector, and Siyana (in that order) will award you with the Wind Up Pocket Watch.
NC Challenge: Play Crisis Courier and receive the Altador Courier Bag.
CHAPTER 4
Our Journey takes us to Faerieland in Chapter 4 of the comic.
CHAPTER 5
Looks like our adventurers are going to be attacked in Chapter 5. Keep an eye out for the next chapter.
1) Head on over to the Atlas of the Ancients Chapter Five comic and read through it.
2) On the first page of the comic, and click on the comic cell containing the animated statue that opens up. (The frame is shown below for your reference.)
You should now have received a prize, a Shiny Mechanical Faerie Fountain.
3) Next, you'll need to play the game Cloud Raiders. We're unsure of the exact score (most likely 1000 pts) you'll need to get, but when we got to the part in Level 3 where you speed up and whiz through all of the birds, we got the prize Build Your Own Flying Ship:
Game Tips: Load up on the health bubbles! Those are essential for making it through the game. Also, whenever possible, try go for the Dubloon bubbles, as those will get you points. Air currents deflect enemies and cannon fire. Draw air currents around areas of danger and earn more points.
4) You are now finished with step three of the plot.
Chapter 6
Chapter 6 is here! Looks like a strange meteor has fallen near Terror Mountain.
1) Head on over to the Atlas of the Ancients Chapter Six comic and read through it. (If you feel like it, you could skip through it, but reading through it will give you some context.)
2) Go to Terror Mountain, and start clicking on different links; eventually, you will find one that gives you a Mysterious Orchid.
CHAPTER 7
1) Head on over to the Atlas of the Ancients Chapter Seven comic and read through it. (If you feel like it, you could skip through it, but reading through it will give you some context.)
2) Go to the first page of the comic, and click on the horn on the last panel on the top line.
This will give you the item Steam Horn.
3) You can then click on the last panel of the comic to go to the game Clara on Ice. You'll need to achieve and send a score of at least 1000 to receive the prize Sparkling Icy Winterscape.
CHAPTER 8
CHAPTER 8 IS OUT!
CHAPTER 9
1) Head on over to the Atlas of the Ancients Chapter Nine comic and read through it. (If you feel like it, you could skip through it, but reading through it will give you some context.)
2) Go to the first page of the comic, and click on the flower key in the third-last panel on the bottom line.
This will give you the item Mechanical Molla Flower.
3) You can then click on the last panel of the comic to go to the game Cave Glider. You'll need to achieve and send a score of at least 2,500 to receive the prize (Deployed Parachute).

Petpetpet habitats, or P3 Habitats is a downloadable game which you play offline on your desktop. It is on beta testing for premium members right now and i got this infomation from SUNNYNEOdotCOM (Thanks)

This new Chomby Shopkeeper
will be opening a new shop in Neopia. By the looks of the Mootix on his shirt, he might be selling some petpetpet habitat items. P3 Habitat items have also been given a small icon in the lower right corner of the image to indicate it will be usable in the p3 habitat game.

A NEOPETS MOVIE!!!???

It seems as if the notion of a Neopets movie has been renewed, and the company AnimalLogic will be taking care of the CG effects in conjunction with Warner Brothers Pictures. They are an Australian based company that will be opening up shop in (conveniently enough) sunny Los Angeles, California. They've produced the CG effects for movies like Happy Feet, Aquamarine, and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and now, they will be working on The Lost Tomb: A Neopets Adventure, the working title for the Neopets movie.
Right now, as they have been for years, details are sparse, but we do know that the estimated release date is April 20, 2009, which will most likely change since that means less than a year to fully produce, edit, and hype up the release.

We've received word that Neopets will be having a virtual world created tentatively titled World of Neopia. Nickelodeon, the owners of Neopets, are taking the initiative to create a world for Neopets, in addition to one for Spongebob Squarepants and 'Monkey World'. "
Sounds like we're going to be having a walkthrough Neopia within the next year or so! Just think, being able to walk through the streets of Neopia Central, picking up a Meerca Fruit Burger for a snack, and then traveling to Faerieland to catch a Poogle Race. Sounds pretty cool to me. Remember, you saw this information on Jellyneo first! There's also some cool concept art below. Remember, this is all concept and totally subject to change! (Anyone remember the original Darkest Faerie Video game concept art?)
