I, like many other Neopets, love to explore and roam about the vast world of Neopia. My favorite place to be is Kreludor and I try to spend as much time there as possible. There's not much to do, but the gravity level makes it soo much fun to bounce. I feel at home there because I am with other Grundos, but at the same time it's easy to feel left out; all of them are Orange (and I'm obviously not). I have at times considered getting painted Orange, but Rani won't let me. You'd think she was planning to eat me or something.
Haha...ha.... .. ....Okay, moving on..

I don't trust many people. In fact, I don't see how some Neopets can just blindly follow their owners. That's wrong; how do you know that someone is good, just because they are your owner? It takes TIME to trust.
But it seems to be that I'm one of the few that feels this way. Some say it's probably caused from the abuse inflicted upon me by Dr. Sloth. Others simply say that Mallows are just "weird like that." Honestly, I don't know what the reason is.

I am definitely a conservative.
I like to watch the scene from afar.
That doesn't mean that I'm shy, nor am I scared to voice my opinion.
No.
It just means I'd rather sit and listen.

I have a great family here in Neopia. I think I fit in well (in fact, maybe a little bit too well..) and I love it!

This is my owner, Rani. She adopted me on May 27th, 2008. I am one of her two dream pets! She loves me soo much. Rani has been in Neopia since she was 10. This is her main account though -and the only one that she goes on- so I get all of her attention! If I'm being honest, Rani is pretty weird.. I mean, it's tolerable, but things she does can sometimes be a bit wack; She collects jars of Homemade Marmalade... Need I say more?

Rangini
This is my little sister, the Baby Kougra. She is totally spoiled and always gets what she wants. Rangini is my owner's other dream pet, and she *claims* that she loves us both equally, but I think she likes me better!
Rangini: "What!! Mooommmyyy, Fizzie's doing it again!"
Gah! See? She always gets me in trouble like that.. She's pretty fun though and is very adventurous. She loves pirates and is utterly obsessed with them. We are always getting dragged over to Krawk Island.. *sigh*

Kizvik
Kiz is one of my best friends. We get along splendidly. I thought he would keep to himself, you know, a more quiet type, but really he's always up in your face. He is brutally honest - never ask if that dress makes you look fat.. He'll tell you the truth.
He's a bit numb to emotions.. People's sadness doesn't seem to affect him. In fact, I don't know if he can even NOTICE feelings. But I like that about him.

LayaLamour
This is Laya! She is to be adopted by Rani in August..
I will write about her here once I get to know her.

Leokitam
Leo is the newest member of our family. She's a very innocent and playful Neopet. Rani adopted her after realizing her newly found love for Grundos. So now she is the second Grundo in our family.. Leo is also an edible pet.. like me... What..? No! I'm not jealous... That's silly. Leo is the opposite of threatening. She is spunky and sweet. She'd never hurt a fly.
Rangini and Leo get along well *most* of the time; often Rangini will be her naughty self and play pranks on Leo. Leokitam isn't too fond of this. She believes everyone should always be nice and happy.
Let's just say, Leo can be a bit naive sometimes.

Aiarana
This is Aia. And holy marshmallows, she is the BIGGEST priss ever. She is always tiptoeing around the house making little remarks. "Orange doesn't seem to be your color, Fizzie..." and, "You're going to eat ALL of that?"
She gets her way all of the time, because she's really alluring. I think she's plain evil though. She's picky and spoiled, and Rani just adores her anyways. *Hmph!*

Kingkoin
Now here's a very energetic Neopet. King is full of passion. He loves doing something every second of the day, and can't stay still for more than 5 minutes. He always wants to play games, but none of us really like to play with him... He always wins - and if he doesn't, well, he's a bit of a sore loser.
Rangini really looks up to King. She loves when he takes her on little adventures. Rani gets scared sometimes, because she thinks the things they do are too dangerous for a baby.
King is a very friendly Koi. Just have to watch out for his competitive side!

Cotton
This is my precious petpet, Cotton! He's a Plushie Rock and is by far the coolest rock out there. He reminds me of Kreludor. Rani gave me Cotton on May 28th, 2008. I love to do everything with him, and I can easily carry him around wherever I go.
Cotton also has a petpetpet Pinchit, to keep him company; he gets lonely easily (he is just a rock after all).

Unsurprisingly, not too many Neopians know much about Mallows. In fact, some people have mailed Rani saying that I was the first they've ever seen - imagine that!
So today I am going to tell you a little more about our kind. Hopefully by the end you will feel a bit more familiar with us.

First of all, in case you were wondering, Mallow stands for Marshmallow. If you've never known THAT, then I don't know where you've been.
Mallow Grundos (more commonly known as 'Mallows') are a species of Grundo and are ALSO Marshmallows. We aren't just one or the other. Grundos are the only Neopet that can be Mallow. Yep! That's right! Not even Chias can be Mallow. Only us.

Mallow Grundos can only be got from the Lab Ray and from the Fountain Faerie Quests (FFQ), so they are very rare. There are two types of Mallows: Converted and unconverted. Unconverted mallows aren't available anymore, and are thus even more rare.

Did you know? - Mallows were Dr. Sloth's favorite Grundo to abuse. That's right! He would dunk us in his boiling hot chocolate, or smoosh us into his evil smores.

So, I bet by now you really want to have your very own special marshmallow Grundo. Well, don't get too carried away; first you need to learn a thing or two about taking care of a Mallow.

1. They require almost all of your time; We crave attention.

2. Mallows are never to be dipped, nibbled, or otherwise used for any satisfactory method for your tastebuds. This is an offense to the whole Mallow race - not to mention it's just plain mean!

Good...

Bad...!

3. No, they CANNOT be used in baking!

And most importantly,
4. They require love. So be sure not to get one just to show him/her off to all of your friends. Get one because you want to give your love.

I don't want to steal all of the attention from other tasty pets.. Actually there are many other edible neopets out there, including Biscuit, Chocolate, Custard, Chokato, Jelly, Strawberry, Bruicicle, and, of course, the fruit & veggie Chias.
All of these pets are special in their own way, but none are so scarce as the Mallow Grundos.

Mallows are to be protected!
