This was done using Firefox 3.5.7 on January 16th, 2010.
It does work with Firefox 3.6 as well.

At the top of the Firefox browser, click on 'Tools', then select 'Add-ons'.

Select 'Get Add-Ons'. Type 'MR Tech Toolkit' into the search box and press the enter button on your keyboard.
Once the search results are displayed, click on 'Add to Firefox...' on the 'Mr Tech Toolkit' result.

Click on 'Install Now' and it will go through the install process.

Click on 'Restart Firefox' in the top right corner. Firefox will restart.

Find 'Mr Tech Toolkit' in your list of Add-ons when Firefox restarts. Click on 'Options'.

Click on the 'Miscellaneous' icon, then XPI install options and select 'Disable XPI Install Delay'. Click 'Apply', then 'Ok', and then close out the Add-Ons -blocked-

Go to http://toolbar.neopets.com/ to download the toolbar installer.

Click in the box next to 'I agree to the terms of use.' Click on 'DOWNLOAD TOOLBAR - FREE'. Click on 'Save File' and save it to some place where you will find it on your computer. I saved it to my Desktop.

Find the install file on your computer, right click, and click 'Open'. Click 'Run' on the 'Open File - Security Warning' window that pops up.

Select your language of choice. Click 'Next' on the 'Welcome to the Neopets Setup Wizard' window that pops up.

Uncheck 'Neopets IE Toolbar', leaving only 'Neopets Firefox Toolbar' checked. Click 'Next'. Choose your 'Destination Folder'. I didn't change it from what was already there. Click 'Install'.

In the 'Software Installation' window that opens, click in the box next to 'Override 'maxVersion' compatibility checking' to put a check in it. Then click 'Install Now'.

Add-ons window will open. Click on 'Restart Firefox' in the top right corner for the changes to take effect.

When Firefox reopens, the 'Add-Ons' list will be displayed. If you click on 'Neopets Toolbar, the text should look similar to above. Right click on 'Neopets Toolbar' and select 'Make Compatible'. Close out the Add-Ons -blocked-

If the Neopets toolbar isn't showing on your browser, click on View, then select Toolbars, and make sure there is a check next to Neopets Toolbar.
