A History Part I To the right is how I looked when I first entered the world of Neopets in September, 2002. Back in those days I was completely obsessed with Japanese and Korean rock. I absolutely adored the style and flair and charisma of the androgynous goth gods. Back then, I was dark clothes and fake wings and lip rings. I was quiet then. I shut everybody else out. I couldn't handle socializing or talking or even managing a wave or smile. I hid in my twin sister's shadow. She was popular and friendly at school - and I was just her brother who lingered behind her. Far, far behind her. I was the walking definition of "awkward." See, growing up, my sister was always beautiful. She's always looked like she should be a model. Then, on the flipside, I had braces, glasses, and would rather spend recess reading than out on the kickball field. It took a long time for me make friends!

A History Part II Eventually, I came out of my shell (mostly, due to the poking and prodding of my twin sister, Axallea) and somehow I managed to make some pretty cool friends! My best friend was an Aisha named Rave. (In fact, his owner is the person who drew the picture to the left!) Rave and I had the craziest times. Like, we'd ride shopping carts down hills, scare the socks off of our kid brothers, and run around in sugar-induced euphoria. He was basically the kind of guy I always wanted to be. I miss him. We used to tear up the town with another good friend of ours, Hunter, but neither of them are around anymore. :( But out of all the people I met during that time, I think the most important was Kibo. Although, over the course of three years, Kibo and I have endured a lot together. It's more than I can say in a paragraph, so I'll just leave it as: Kibo is my favorite person, ever.

MY CAREER My personal life and drama aside, you may have noticed that my life seems to center around music. Well, that's probably because it does. I've been into music my entire life. Although my tastes change now and again, I adore music. All kinds of music. You already know I was into goth and j-rock. Then I moved onto emo, but got sick of it when it all started to sound the same. Right now, I find myself loving indie, folk, and post-rock. I still put on some good emo or 70's punk now and then - or ska (oh man, I LOVE ska!) when I feel like it. I even listen to some country and underground hip hop. So with my love for music, it's only sensible that I go into the music industry... right? Well, whatever your answer, it's what I'm doing. I'm currently in a band called As the Crow Flies, with some of the best guys I'll know. I'm lead vocals and bass guitarist, because try as I might, my fingers do not like having to deal with six strings. It's two strings too many. We play a lot in the Catacombs, so if you're ever in the area, stop by and say hi!
