Events

Visitor Center
All of Jinsei's polls and surveys are located here. They help me analyze what areas I need to improve on. They also help me gather information of future site-related events. Please participate if you have time.

Q: What does Jinsei mean?
A: It means "life" in Japanese. If you look carefully, all of Jinsei's layouts have a certain theme to them. They hold memories and feelings of nostalgia. Jinsei aims to have a theme of the simplicities and innocence of life to create a calming and welcoming atmosphere.
Q: Where do you get your layout images?
A: I prefer not to give out this information; I'd like to keep Jinsei's past, present and future layouts one-of-a-kind. ;)
Q: Why is my review taking so long?
A: I apologize for your wait, but I can be very busy at times and it's hard for me to complete reviews quickly. I always try my best to complete reviews in a timely manner. Please also take note of the number of sites before you and what their rubrics are; it can give you a rough estimate of how long you'll review will take. Thank you so much for your patience!
Q: I disagree with my review score.
A: By all means, reply back and tell me why. I'm always open to feedback on reviews and I'd love to hear what you have to say.
Q: Will you enter my -insert competition here-?
A: No, I'm usually not interested in competitions. I very rarely enter any. But I do like to participate, so send me neomail if you'd like for me to place a vote or two.
Q: Can I be re-reviewed?
A: I'm sorry, but I do not have time to review the same site twice. I will consider if your site has made some MAJOR changes, but that's highly unlikely. I do, however, offer follow-ups. You are welcome to neomail me at anytime(regardless of whether or not you have been reviewed by me before) for some sitely advice.
Q: How long does it take you to complete a review?
A: 2-8 hours, depending on the rubric type and site. The hours are spread throughout the week, depending on my schedule.

Welcome to the official TRL(The Reviewers League) page! What is TRL, you may ask? It's a club/organization just for review site owners to join together to discuss good reviewing techniques, share experiences, and meet other fellow reviewers-blocked-ing TRL would be great way to improve your reviews and give advice to others. If this program is successful, we could possibly branch out to ALL types of sites. If you interested, please read the rules below and send in your form!
