You blink a few times, dazed. After a bit, look around.
Where am I? Thinking back, you may have remembered clicking on a link.
A link? But where did the link lead? You glance around. The place was... bright. And somewhat shiny. Rainbows and an odd feeling of happiness frothed everywhere. In the distance, you notice the dark silhouette of a horse, a uni. The shape raised its head as if sniffing the air.
Then suddenly, something hits the back of your head. Down you fall. Down. Everything turns dark.
Welcome
You hear a voice in the distance. Ergh You feel horrible, your head hurts, you're a little confused. The voice becomes louder.
Hi, guest, you seemed to have taken a little fall. I'm Ericka Dishoin, though many just call me Ericka.
You glance up. How did she know your name?
A piece of heart must have hit you. I don't blame you for taking a little rest, they hurt.
Wait, piece of a heart?
Oh don't be surprised. A heart, look around you. Most of us unis, in the Prancing Uni Meadow, have them.
You look around, and to your surprise, your surrounding became... well... cartoony. Everyone seemed to be outlined wi... wait, outlined? Not only that, unis filled the field, grinning. "What's going on?" you mutter out loud.
Erica frowned. You can't be serious. You really don't know anything about the Prancing Uni?
You nod and shake your head at the same time, unsure of how to answer.
Well, that's odd. I thought everyone knew about it. At least, everyone who came before you. I live here. I've never been out of this field. It's my only home. Even though I'm surrounded by happiness, I get lonely. That's why I shout into the wind, "Everyone Come Here!" And sometimes I feel people are drawn here. Then I'm not lonely.
Lonely? You look at the surrounding unis fluttering by, the piles of unis in that field.
Erica glances out into the field, as if reading your mind. They aren't real
Aren't real?
No. I imagined them. They're in my mind. Right now, you're in my mind. I've never met another uni, so this is what I imagine them to look like. Happy, running, smiling, with lots of friends.
You reach out to a nearby uni, your hand passes right through. Unreal, the unis aren't real.
But you're here! And you must be real, Right? I can't be imagining you too... Right?
You nod. You're pretty sure that you're real. You poke yourself. At least your hand doesn't pass through.
That's good. I'm glad I'm not imagining even more visitors. She glances at you. I guess you were drawn here, you must have heard my cries. Oh, you should have one of my imagined unis!
Have one of the imagined unis?
Yes. That's a perfect idea. That way, you can take one of my imagined unis out of here. Then it will seem like I'm going out of here too. I can see the world. I can see other unis.
Rules
But, there's some rules you should know.
Rules? For taking care of an imaginary uni?
They're very important. You must remember them clearly.
- First, you must try to remember me. You can't ever forget me. If you forget me, then I won't be able be with you, out in the world. Remember my name.
- Second, please don't pretend you imagined them. My imaginary unis will become confused and revolt. I don't want them to become injured nor them injure you.
- Third, I will allow you to change them. After they leave my meadow, you are free to imagine with them. You can make them bigger or smaller (resize), you can change the background colour. If you wish to do anything else, please just tell me.
- Fourth, I have some special unis I imagined for special people. I can think of a special one for you as well, but please don't take someone else's special uni.
- And five, I'm giving parts of me to you, parts of my own heart. Please just remember to respect them. If you do that, I'm sure you'll be fine.

Customs
You pause for a second. A special uni?
Oh, yes. If you give me a picture of your uni, I can imagine a special uni. The uni will be yours, and only yours. But, I do take a while to think of a special uni. The special unis are free. Although, if you wish to trade with me, that will make me happier.
Sometimes, I have a lot of special unis I want to think about. So, it may take you a long long time. I suggest just go on with your life. One day, a special uni may just pop in on your doorstep.
If you wish to trade me, you have top priority over others. That means I will do yours first, before other people who requested, even if they were here before you. Trades may still take some time.
Just whisper here and show me a picture of your uni. That way, I can imagine your uni perfectly. The fewer things you tell me, the less it'll look like the real thing.

You stop a minute, questions burning in your mind. How did you get here anyways? And how do you go back?
Suddenly, you head starts aching. You close your eyes, you feel like your body's being torn apart. Then, it stops. You open your eyes. In front of you stands a uni with scars across her eyes. Ericka? The uni started sniffing again.
I see you met Ericka, you still look confused. Do you have any questions?
You turn around and face me, Hanna. A tad surprised... although I've been narrating the whole time. Well any Questions?

Ha, I'm glad you noticed if you noticed. Yes, the name does seem similar, eh? *cough* The top banner words are very similar, but alas this site has nothing to do with it. I just call what the unis doing as 'prancing' so that's what it become.
Ericka mentioned something about Editing the pictures
Oh yes. I allow you to resize the pictures, change the format, make it un-transparent... etc etc. Really, it should be obvious what you can/cannot do ( P: I don't allow you to colour over everything... really. Ask for a makeable if you want that). But I don't care about most things. Just tell me, or even tell Ericka.
Do I even need a uni/painted uni to adopt a uni?
Nope. You can adopt the uni and put it anywhere C: I really don't care. Though I suggest you don't enter the BC/AG with the image. It's kind of against the rules.
I have a question about Customs...
I accept almost all requests, even if I have 50 lined up. But that only means I'm very very slow. I accept interspecies customs as well but I probably won't add like a lupe tail...etc etc. Same with regular customs. If it's too complicated, I won't add on the new design. I should have a wait list on either my look up or a pet's look up. You can contact me to find where you are on the list. Just remember, don't expect to get the image back too quickly (especially requests!). Request one, and forget about it. When I'm done I'll send it to you (if I notice you don't go on anymore, I may cancel your request). If you like the Maraquan uni, you can request Peos in that form.
Why did you draw them like that?
It goes with the story, dur. :/ Plus, if I do a complicated uni, I'll dislike it in a few months and then it'll get sticky. A cartoon-y one can have giant anatomy flaws, and it'll be okay.
