What's that? You must be wondering. First of all, a pet directory is where you list (or at least you attempt to list) all of the pets in Neopia.
So basically, a mutant pet directory is where you list all of the mutant pets in Neopia. :)

To list your mutant pet in this directory, all you have to do is neomail charading the name and species of your mutant pet(s).
It's that simple! ^_^

24th June 2008 --- Grand opening of Enaxe's mutant pet directory
26th August 2008 - Mutant Day (say hello to the Mutant Peophin)
10th October - Eyrie Day (say hello to the Mutant Eyrie)

How to get a mutant

To get a mutant pet, you can:

Get a lucky zap from the Lab Ray (found in the games room)
Complete a Fountain Faerie Quest and visit the rainbow fountain
Buy a transmogrification potion from the trading post or auctions
(Prices may vary depending on the species of the transmogrification potion you want.)
Receive the extremely rare random event where Dr. Sloth hands you a free transmogrification potion

Did I mention you get a spiffy avatar if you transmogrify your pet? ;)
